I used to drink sambuca, but then had a horrid experience with a flaming one.

Semi - for people who have spent many months demanding facts and reasons why we voted leave, many of them were in that documentary that you dropped onto the thread. No surprise really that it barely got an acknowledgement, preferring to turn a blind eye (with the exception of one poster who said they would try and catch it later). I think I'm giving up on the WM thread. I've always thought it was worth posting on there to counter some of the more divisive and stereotyped things that are said about people who voted leave and the "Theresa May is a dictator" tripe. Mainly because there are lots of lurkers who might be more open to seeing things from a different perspective.

But it's got so rabid now I'm going to stop reading it. There's been posts today about hating all Brexiters with no challenge from any of the remainers. It's getting a bit horrid

I think your right - wrong it is worth posting on there, but in some ways its a very narrow space with room for narrow views only.

Semi said she posted a link to an extremely interesting documentary on the current state of the EU from populist view point and its all but been ignored.

Rather like the EU itself, it would rather tie itself up in knots calling people pigs, being morally superior and getting bogged down in pointless detail.
