bored, I've never argued that staying in the EU as it was, indefinitely was the best decision.

Only that bailing out now with no plan and completely on the back foot is utter madness.

Convince me otherwise.

MrsPeterDoherty · 12/02/2017 18:02

Ok - I get that people are still angry, but sooner or later we all have to pull together & make Brexit work - what else is there to do?

Never. I cannot and will not get behind Brexit. How can I, when there is no plan? How can I, when I have been written off as a citizen of nowhere, part of the liberal elite?

You can't carry this anger around with you forever.

Yes I can.

RortyCrankle · 12/02/2017 18:16

Ok time to tell you about my visit to my GP and it doesn't look good.

The symptoms are that when I start reading a Remainer's whiny incessantly questioning post, my eyelids begin to droop and all the words merge into blah blah blah blah.

The GP says there's no known cure and it could be catching, sniff.

It's been so nice knowing you all Smile

PS Semi Henceforth you shall be known as TFM [grin ]

howabout · 12/02/2017 18:25

Lovely Brexit minded Ayrshire farmer on Sunday Politics Scotland today. Also for those who appreciate a nice tie like me they did a full on close up on the NFU Scotland man's tractor number. Smile

Celebrating a narrow defeat to France safe in the knowledge that my lads have got the Frenchmen warmed up to sort out England next time. Pretty sure Brexit doesn't mean the demise of the 6 nations. Wine

boredofbrexit · 12/02/2017 18:39

Bear thats a lot of keyboarding.

Meet up for a drink IRL and I'd give it a try

Bearbehind · 12/02/2017 18:48

Shocker, Leaver can't articulate their argument so bails out.

Hold that drink bored

TheAugury · 12/02/2017 18:56

*Why should I feel a bit silly?

What is the danger in my own head?

What is the nice and strong, well designed and well thought out element of Brexit?*

convince me

unfortunately Bear you forgot to bring the chair and even if you trundle off and get it no one is going to sit in it, you don't actually get to make demands and have them answered endlessly and repeatedly for months on end whilst wailing that no one is answering it's incredibly boring surely you must be boring even yourself by now? I've said it to you before and I say it again if you can't find the answers you seek here try looking inwardly try imagining how others feel, try putting yourself in other peoples shoes so to speak you have all the answers it's your own inability to see them that is the problem.

boredofbrexit · 12/02/2017 19:01

Shockey-er shocker : keyboard warrior cant put their mouth where their thumbs are.

I'll drink to that, Bear.

Bearbehind · 12/02/2017 19:03

Nice try augury but the 'turning the question round' tactic is a well worn tactic even if you think you've discussed this with me before you've clearly named changed as I have no recollection of discussing this with your current reincarnation

You have no answers- why would I be able to come up with something when I didn't even choose this path?

boredofbrexit · 12/02/2017 19:03

TheA...I suppose we should be grateful that the world hasn't stopped turning....and the clock keeps ticking towards freedomWine

Bearbehind · 12/02/2017 19:04

^bored* you may not like my views but you can't accuse me of being a keyboard warrior.

I'll back up my opinions until the cows come home,

You are sadly lacking in that area.

TheFullMrexit · 12/02/2017 19:06

Semi I agree with lines being crossed. I had empathy for the remainers still struggling to cone to the terms of with the result. But the abject refusal to taken on board any positive information, the refusal to takeaway on board any negative information about the eu makes me also feel there are other vested interests at play. Bored your swimming pool analogy reminded me of the world is flat stuff back in the dark ages!! All this going off a cliff etc

boredofbrexit · 12/02/2017 19:07

Thats not arduous Bear, any old fool can back up their opinion. Doesn't mean it holds water.

Bearbehind · 12/02/2017 19:09

You have to state your opinion in order to back it up bored

That involves more than cliches and dog pictures.

boredofbrexit · 12/02/2017 19:09

Beep Beep Roadrunners of the world unite!

TheAugury · 12/02/2017 19:10

Yes I name change regularly twice because of your houndings didn't know it wasn't allowed ? WinchesterWoman was forced to as well if I remember rightly.

Bearbehind · 12/02/2017 19:11

thefullmrbrexit you're another one who's run for the hills rather than back up your comments elsewhere so it rather undermines your bravado here.

TheFullMrexit · 12/02/2017 19:12

So the rookie fled and an old stalwart has been sent back Grin isn't there a name for this type of belligerent wearing down tactic?

Bearbehind · 12/02/2017 19:13

I couldn't give a shit if you name change or try and goad me into making comments about other name changers

It just makes it rather confusing when you quote prior conversations with me when I have no idea who you are.

TheAugury · 12/02/2017 19:15

I put my previous name in brackets earlier and my post stands for so many of us it's quite irrelevant to me if you remember me or not

TheFullMrexit · 12/02/2017 19:16

Run for the hills?!??? Actually should did a half marathon this am, but I have been watching 1984 hence my remainer = turkeys voting for Christmas / slavery = freedom comments earlier then I had a nice nap. Smile we are however not in court here, we ate not writing essays, we are chatting to each other. I hate no idea however where you think you are with all this backing up comments crap?

Bearbehind · 12/02/2017 19:18

TheAugury I'm really not interested in who you previously were, but please don't refer to prior conversations with me if you're not going to stand by that user name.

TheAugury · 12/02/2017 19:18

Anyway going back to Tom Watson and the idea that London gets a different immigration policy Ethan's they could turn the M25 into a boundary wall to keep us oils out?

TheAugury · 12/02/2017 19:19

I don't take orders Bear sorry to disillusion you but you ain't the boss Grin

TheFullMrexit · 12/02/2017 19:19

Anyway now I bear has decided to join us, maybe we should cheer her up with more chat of sexy brexy hard and bendy bananas. Grin
