Cameron won't get burnt though, because he and his wife are extremely wealthy.

I meant the population st large, not the politicians that caused this bloody mess AngrySad

It has been such a convenient scapegoat and straw horse for the likes of Boris to take a witty tilt at, and there is a lot to take a tilt at, but it gave us a place on the world stage alongside people of like culture and values, and it provided a regional context for our economy, especially given that post Maggie it is a London centric service driven economy (and that was not the EU's fault)

Yes, the same Boris who spent a lot of time as Mayor arguing for funding for London on the basis that London wasn't competing with Manchester and Liverpool etc anymore, it's competing with Paris and Berlin etc. Successfully arguing that too I should add. And people wonder why the people of London don't get why the people of other places have bought into the pipe dream. Because they've known this for a very long time.

A scapegoat? Poor Boris, was he forced to lie, use Nazi style racist propaganda, carry a bus around the country saying the NHS should get what the EU was taking, and peddling all that lies about how our economy was going to improve?

So now that we are going out, could the people who voted leave please put pressure on Boris and friends to deliver what they promised? Imposing the new contract on junior doctors seems to me like they are actually taking more away from the NHS than they had already.

What exactly was promised? Other than £350 million could be spent on the NHS.

MeMySonAndl · 15/07/2016 20:53

That will be more than enough, thank you Wink

Bbc radio 4 had a good programme about why people voted leave and they found that thr buggest correlation was people who valued their local community, didnt much like change and had generally traditional views. Also they didnt like London and the general metropolitan lifestyle. that kind of rings a bell.

And tonight we see why exploiting the fear of a Turkish influx of migrants was a long way wide of the mark......

StrictlyMumDancing · 15/07/2016 22:23

ron just caught the news and shouted 'well it looks like turkey are joining the European imminently now doesn't it you complete cockwombles'. I may have also said something about Farage and another c word Grin
