Yes, it was a very good idea, and am looking forward to the result being put into action and leaving the EU at long last.

No. It was too complex an issue to be put to the public as a simple, binary question.

Even if Remain had got the majority, I would still not have thought it a good idea, because the issues are too complex, and it has caused such divisiveness.

I tried my best to research, learn and make an informed decision but I must admit that a lot of the economic stuff went over my head for the most part and I still cannot fathom a sensible reason for leaving. It just does not make sense to me, no matter how much I try to understand 'Leaves' POV which leads me to believe that either half of the country are stark raving mad or there are still things I don't understand.

In short, no. I think it was too complicated an issue to be left to the public, I think the campaign itself was utter madness and I think the whole thing was badly planned.

No. I think we're fucked; our best hope at the moment appears to be EEA membership, but afaik we're only members of the EEA at the moment by virtue of being members of the EU. Once that goes, we have to reapply to EFTA, then reapply to EEA, getting the unanimous agreement of all EEA members (including Norway, which has already stated that it's not in favour, and all the 27 remaining EU states who we've just pissed off). And we have to do that in the space of two years. Whilst governing a country divided against itself, with the two major political parties still having their own little civil wars. I have three litres of gin in the fridge and even that's not helping.

The media will soon be sick of reporting stock market and currency fluctuations, and the headlines will be back to the usual EU crises - the Eurozone collapse and the continuing migrant disaster that will worsen over the summer. Hungarian referendum in October to decide whether they'll accept their quota as decreed by the EU. It'll be great watching the chaos knowing we're out of it now

We have a representative democracy. There is no place in our system for referendums. And I have said this since it was first announced. And at every opportunity ugly up to the 23rd- even though I was pretty sure it was going to go the way l wanted. It didn't.

There was no Plan B, so people have voted for dreams and lies. A positive leave outcome is impossible. Cameron and Osborne knew this, but went ahead with a referendum anyway.
The issues were too complex and results too catastrophic for a referendum.
