Should we invoke article 50 immediately & begin our 2 year Brexit negotiation?

The thing is though, who the heck will do the negotiating and get us a really great deal ? There is nobody to do it.

Oliver Letwin is in charge putting together plans at the moment. He was the one who thought Camilla Batmanjillah was so wonderful, and that Kid's Company deserved lots of government funding....

I believe Greenland, that great economic power house and leader of world affairs, left the EU in it's previous incarnation, in 1985.

Maybe we should ask them?

whydidhesaythat · 05/07/2016 19:13

Fuck it is actually really bad isn't it?

I nominate Paul merton

Also the bloke who presents Springwatch

whydidhesaythat · 05/07/2016 19:14

Sorry forgot which thread I was on

ErrolTheDragon · 05/07/2016 19:18

Oh, I dunno - Paul and Chris Packham would probably do better than some of the politicians. At least Chris would make sure that we didn't scupper environmental protection or allow overfishing! (and Paul would get the job done in just a minute....)

whydidhesaythat · 05/07/2016 19:23

:)

citroenpresse · 05/07/2016 20:23

Greenland (it took them ages …and they only cared about fishing) is not really a we-left-the-EU scenario because it's a bit of Denmark...

JassyRadlett · 05/07/2016 20:59

That is gone forever now.

Yep, I agree. I meant the best possible based on our current circumstances.

Cheers Margarethe. Flowers

I was 100% NO for the Scottish Referendum. I so didn't want them to leave….Now, well they absolutely have a point. Why should they have to leave the EU when the WHOLE COUNTRY voted to Remain?
