Can we laugh or cry yet?

Are you still sane?

Will this insanity ever end?

Ok got it. Thanks bathroom frustration levels hit the roof there.

RedToothBrush · 30/06/2016 11:57

Saying he didn't back anyone.

BBC reporting one of his comments as 'profits of doom!' Grin

DoinItFine · 30/06/2016 11:57

Spot on, TheBathroom.

Felascloak · 30/06/2016 11:57

I think he is backing may hence why his speech was so similar. Not sure why no one (pundits i mean) has picked up on this.
No way he will back Gove.

TheBathroomSink · 30/06/2016 11:58

Of course, now he is free to create all sorts of mayhem, but has no responsibility for anything, does he?

weasle · 30/06/2016 11:58

What?!
Oh please not Gove. Slimey little shit!
BJ did look terrified all the last week - as if he'd been throwing stones at someone's window and it finally broke and he had to sort it out. Or poking a tiger and it roared and scared him.

Well, it's not getting any more predictable UK politics this last week!

MitzyLeFrouf · 30/06/2016 11:59

I'd love if he came out in support for MAY! Then he'd be all 'in your face girlfriend' to Gove.

Have Boris and Jeremy been stabbed in the back? Please can we have some leaders?
Showmethewaytogohome · 30/06/2016 12:00

I think he will shaft Gove in any way he can. Brutus will go after Brutus 2

TheBathroomSink · 30/06/2016 12:00

I would very much like if he came out in support of Theresa May, and her her only response was to smile slightly, and proceed to ignore him.

HalleLouja · 30/06/2016 12:02

Will anyone in the Tory parliamentary party be sending each other Christmas cards this year? Or have they all struck each other off?

JamieVardysParty · 30/06/2016 12:02

Bathroom Grin

You missed:
London London London, I created London
Oh shit, better not just talk about London
London London London and the rest of the country

Surely he can now only back May. And then put himself in line to lead her little project team that she is setting up to coordinate the exit?

RedToothBrush · 30/06/2016 12:03

If Cummings and Dacre/Murdoch Gove becomes the puppetmasters behind the PM I'm emigrating

I am already planning our possible Brexit.

OP posts:
Showmethewaytogohome · 30/06/2016 12:03

Halle Bet they've cancelled the summer party! Could get a little fractious over the Pims

weasle · 30/06/2016 12:04

Labour not a big happy family either!
If the Lib Dems can't capitalise on this and improve their popularity there's no hope for them!

AnnieKenney · 30/06/2016 12:04

Gove wants out of the single European market. If he becomes PM - we are in for a seriously long recession.

RedToothBrush · 30/06/2016 12:05

He may not back May for one reason:
If he is marked as the poison, he may not want to damage her bid.

OP posts:
TheBathroomSink · 30/06/2016 12:05

Sorry, Jamie, I think I mentally filed that under 'Bollocks'

Meanwhile Jeremy Corbyn appears to be comparing Israel to IS:

"Our Jewish friends are no more responsible for the actions of Israel or the [Binyamin] Netanyahu government than our Muslim friends are for those of self-styled Islamic states or organisations." He then refused to take questions from UK Jewish press.

AnnieKenney · 30/06/2016 12:05

Don't want to say too much in case I out myself but even if Boris supported May she wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. She thinks he's odious.

weasle · 30/06/2016 12:06

Bloody Gove. I can't get over it. Not many teachers will be happy about this possibility I'm sure.
Please please let it be May. Crabbe and Fox (Crabbe and Doyle from Harry Potter?) far too right wing surely.

MaterofDragons · 30/06/2016 12:06

Mitzy Grin

Come out for May Boris and give Gove the double shaft.

chocomochi · 30/06/2016 12:06

Boris Johnson has announced he won't stand as leader of the Conservative party. Not surprising as he knows what a mess he's created.

HalleLouja · 30/06/2016 12:07

weasle up to now it has all been focused on the mess that is Labour but its nice to know the Tories are no better. Well actually it would be better if we had a proper opposition.

Showme to be fly on the wall on that event would be worth paying for.

Showmethewaytogohome · 30/06/2016 12:07

Shall we start our own party? We can name it ourselves and everything!

I would like Work and Pensions I think or maybe Overseas Development.

Can't do any worse. Mind you a pig on a stick couldn't do worse

MrsLupo · 30/06/2016 12:08

Well, good morning all. Looks set to be another rollercoaster day in the newsroom. I guess we have anwered the question posed by this thread, except that it turns out BJ was outmanoeuvred not by DC but by his own lieutenant!

Hope we can still keep the thread going all the same. I am still very depressed about the referendum outcome and this thread is a silver lining in a very grey sky.
