And another thread about antics of President Boris and Comrade Jeremy and all their friends.

Can we laugh or cry yet?

Are you still sane?

Will this insanity ever end?

BJ is a bit like a toddler, having fun, making a mess and refusing to clear it up.

HalleLouja · 30/06/2016 12:09

I wonder what Libs are going to do now? Surely someone needs to put together a viable opposition.

MitzyLeFrouf · 30/06/2016 12:10

The Lib Dems need to put their big boy and big girl pants on and seize the bloody moment.

GingerIvy · 30/06/2016 12:10

Well, I guess at least both Labour and Tory are on equal footing now, eh? They've both in utter disarray.

MitzyLeFrouf · 30/06/2016 12:11

'I guess we have anwered the question posed by this thread, except that it turns out BJ was outmanoeuvred not by DC but by his own lieutenant!'

Who would have predicted that!?

ObiWanCannelloni · 30/06/2016 12:11

Mitsy Grin

So - Is Johnson plan to watch from the sidelines as someone else juggles the shitty stick for a couple of years - being his usual pain in the ass and media rent a quote - then come back when the goings easier?

And Vine's leaked email. Yeah right Hmm

HalleLouja · 30/06/2016 12:12

Showme don't mention the pigs the poor things didn't deserve any of it.

Was it on this thread I read about Mystic Clegg here?

GingerIvy · 30/06/2016 12:12

The problem I see with the LibDems at the moment is that they're pushing to stop us Leaving, yes? Realistically speaking, I don't think that is an option anymore. They may have painted themselves into a corner, as if they then backtrack at all, everyone will be outraged.

TheBathroomSink · 30/06/2016 12:12

Oooh, interesting Annie

Of course, that means she's just like the rest of us!!

DoinItFine · 30/06/2016 12:13

He was outmanoeuvred by DC and then Gove.

Cameron set the stage.

Jamie - you could see him realise that that London was only part of the country.

RedToothBrush · 30/06/2016 12:13

Boris as the Referendum result comes in.

(Caution. Humour. Contains Godwin's Law)

InShockReally · 30/06/2016 12:13

All this because he wanted to be PM though, and he's not even trying. Arsehole.

I hope this is the end of his career.

It won't be though will it?

MitzyLeFrouf · 30/06/2016 12:14

Obi I think he'll be seen by a lot of people as having bottled his big chance.

TheBathroomSink · 30/06/2016 12:14

ObiWan
That is very much what I would expect. People have short memories, after all, and he will probably spend the next couple of years writing waffly bollocks and clowning around and generally being Boris The Entertainer, so people will forget that Johnson The Serious Politician is a mendacious useless fuckwit.

MrsLupo · 30/06/2016 12:15

Meanwhile Jeremy Corbyn appears to be comparing Israel to IS

It was a good speech, and I think he is shrewd to be seen to be just getting on with regular party business instead of running round like a headless chicken panicking about Brexit/leadership/etc. But oh dear, he does need a decent media adviser, bless him. He just doesn't seem to have a grasp of the 'guess what tomorrow's headlines will be' game.

Showmethewaytogohome · 30/06/2016 12:15

Obi nope - he will be busy working in the circus on his new act

He is finished - and he knows it.

MaterofDragons · 30/06/2016 12:16

Toxic Boris/virus. Very apt autocorrect. I agree now May is unlikely to entertain him. Shame it would have been interesting to see Gove and Boris fronting.

MrsLupo · 30/06/2016 12:16

BJ is keeping his powder dry for another year, I am sure. But, yes, ironic how much we are all going to suffer on account of his now abandoned power grab.

JamieVardysParty · 30/06/2016 12:19

Wouldn't be the first time though Ginger - I now just see them as a party of false promises who, at the first sniff of power, drop all of their promises.

Quite like a lot in Westminster at the moment.

Farron likes to think that he can act out that bit in Lord of the Rings where the (Lib Dem) army come over the hill at the last minute to save the day.

Exactly Doin - it was like he had someone in his ear saying "NOT JUST LONDON, BORIS"

Showmethewaytogohome · 30/06/2016 12:19

But May isn't stupid. If she wants the top job she may have to deal with Boris and then give him the flick after - anyway surely he wants to shaft Gove - he will probably do it for nothing

noblegiraffe · 30/06/2016 12:20

Johnson has been in hiding all week, I don't think he wants to face questions about the NHS.

He is going to scuttle off for a while, do some more Have I Got News For You and then make a triumphant return once the dust settles and someone else has cleared up his mess.

MrsLupo · 30/06/2016 12:21

Mystic Clegg Grin

Fantastic sadfacing from Cleggy. Just a shame he didn't see this coming as far back as 2010 when he climbed into bed with the cunting Tories.

GingerIvy · 30/06/2016 12:22

Tears? Seriously?

ReggaeShark · 30/06/2016 12:22

He won't do HIGNFY. Hislop would make mince meat if him.
