Is anyone else here from Kent and their child sitting the Kent test this September? thought it might be good to have a support thread going. If there already is one could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

And fortunately we do have the option of applying to the Grey Coat Hospital. Just trying to decide whether to pursue DGGS or not knowing that it's a very forlorn hope.

@username4826490 Thanks, but it’s ok. Sure, I’m a bit disappointed but we have a sibling place at a school I’m happy enough with.

@BlackLambAndGreyFalcon if you can put DGGS without risking a place elsewhere, then I’d put it. You never know.
I’m going to put one down that we have almost zero chance of, but I can spare one of my 4 choices so it’s worth a go. Different if it’s risky though. Have you got a good, reasonably safe option?

@Upwardtrajectory yes we do. It's more about going to see it and potentially raising DDs hopes when it's very unlikely she will get a place.

we have had the email and it's a pass ...defo head teacher appeal as English below cut off ! but scored enough overall. Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting 🤞

No it's a C of E state (comprehensive) school which is partially selective on faith. It's definitely one of our top options.

Had my email just after two, but I promised I wouldn't look so trying to keep myself busy.

Anyone at the start of the alphabet got a pass result?

We’re high up in the alphabet with a pass but I know of others lower down the alphabet with a pass who received results before us. I honestly don’t think it’s driven by surname. Perhaps candidate number?

I'm H with a pass. OOC if it makes a difference.

Ours came through 15 minutes ago with a pass, we are early alphabet.

Fingers crossed for you @11plusdrama If it helps, as you know, my DD didn't pass Bexley but has a pass in Kent.

He couldn't wait so we looked. He scored exactly 332, but English was 104 so a fail. But he tried and I'm super proud of him.

A pass for us too, what a horrible wait that was! Whatever the results, a huge well done to everyone for putting the work in
