Anyone starting egg donation July/August?

We maybe starting our egg donation treatment (first time) July/August and I thought maybe there’s anyone here that would like to join me. Ive found this forum very useful and supportive and thought I would reach out as I cannot believe it is so soon and getting a bit nervous. We had a year of rollercoaster of trying for many years to being finally told my amh is too low and I wouldn’t qualify for IVF. We did our research and found DCN very useful and are really excited about it.

@Cleozeta I am pleased it's happening as did worry we would be pushed back.
I am attempting to drink less! And do a bit more exercise. Little changes ;-)

@Pingupp I have spent the last 4 years being healthy, and taking supplements until they come out of my ears, and it didn't work. So I'm just going into it as I am this time.

@Cleozeta the only supplement I am on is the pregnacare vitamins.
I have read loads of stuff and it's so confusing - I am just going to carry on as I am too!!

Hi everyone, hope you're still remembering me. I'm still around and rooting for you all!

Our beautiful son was born last Wednesday and we came home the following day. I've been recovering ever since and feeling human again. He's a very chilled baby and let us sleep long spells. Our DD absolutely adores him 😘 despite having embryos on ice, this is my very last pregnancy. My family is complete now. It's been a long journey to have our son and now he's here, I'm going to enjoy our family!

I had my transfer on Tuesday, now for the 2ww. Anyone else in 2ww or transfer imminant?

@Pingupp it was super quick. I was only there for about 20 mins. Although it took us a full day to get there and back! So glad we got to actually still do it through lockdown though, and feel happier now that if this fails I should still be able to easily go for the next round in January even if there is still a lockdown.

@Cleozeta so potentially end of next week.. will see.. trying not to get too excited or worked up about it. Luckily work is busy and am able to just subsume myself in it.. hope you are holding it together for 2ww.. its so different now compared to summer but the same old themes continue in the outside world ;)

This time of year is usually really busy for me, birthdays, impending Christmas etc, so it's weird not being able to actually do much. Although next month could get busy as moving house. Hopefully that'll take my mind off any potential failures!

Thank you for checking on me. We’ve just had an 8w scan and at the moment all is looking fine. With all the previous experiences I am just so anxious. I hope you’re all doing well and all the best in the 2ww @Cleozeta and @tikha great to hear you also have a timeline now.

@Leala20 congrats! That's another hurdle done. Totally understand your caution, I would be the same, but try to enjoy it as much as you can. This is a new pregnancy and a new opportunity for things to go well.

@Leala20 good to hear it worked this time. Have they now referred you to a normal EPU? Its ok to be anxious.. I dont think I would feel any different if it worked for me given how things have gone in the past. Am sure its mixed in with some joy ;)

Ladies - are you taking a pregnicare supplement or separate folic acid on its own? I am thinking vitamin d might be needed too?

@Pingupp I am taking 7seas pre conception (any pre conception I think is fine)
I am also on high dose folic acid as advised by my clinic (I think probably due to age)

@Cleozeta thanks - I am sure they will advise me if I need that once a FET is done. X

I posted on this thread a while back and have been lurking.

Firstly congratulations to all the BFPs and good luck to everyone waiting.

We had our 6 eggs thawed yesterday, 1 didn't make the thaw and 3 have fertilised. Transfer planned for Saturday.

Feeling down about only having 3 fertilised :(
