Good luck @LanieM87 better to be too early than too late. Fingers are firmly crossed for you!

@LanieM87 I agree it's better to have been early rather than late, you got your positive in the morning and had inseminated late at night that's great ☺️ I know what you mean about the two vials, I don't feel like I've covered all areas with just one...but hopefully we won't need another try 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 TWW here we come!!!

LanieM87 · 13/11/2019 20:48

Thanks @Waiting2BAMummy it's just another waiting game now!

LanieM87 · 13/11/2019 20:53

@Pinkfamily that's what I'm hoping! I'd have felt so much more positive if I'd had the two vials, I've been having really intense pain this evening along my L side so I may have been too early. Just hope that the frozen will last upto 24hrs!

Waiting2BAMummy · 13/11/2019 23:22

@LanieM87 I definitely recall you telling @Pinkfamily a couple of days ago that there is evidence to suggest that frozen can live just as long as fresh. Try to remember some of that positivity to yourself too x

VNAWENN · 14/11/2019 07:37

@LanieM87 You should be just fine. When I went for my insemination at my fertility clinic, I ask if I hadn't ovulated yet would the sperm survive and they told me the exact same thing. Sperm can survive 3-5 day, even frozen sperm 👍🏼

VNAWENN · 14/11/2019 07:41

Well, after having what I can only describe as weird arse abdominal feelings late Tuesday into yesterday morning (I think it was implantation) as..... TMI, I now have slight pink spotting mixed in with CM. I never have spotting before AF, so hopefully this is it 🤞🏼

I've ordered some First Response Early Result rest as they are the best at picking up early Pregnancy 6.7mIU, compared to the 10mIU I'm using. Hoping this is the one 🤔

LanieM87 · 14/11/2019 08:25

Thanks ladies @VNAWENN @Waiting2BAMummy it's so hard to be the voice of reason for yourself!!

I'm keeping everything crossed for you @VNAWENN it all sounds very positive!!!!!

VNAWENN · 14/11/2019 08:29

@LanieM87 I know, you doubt yourself at every turn. But I am keeping my fingers and toes firmly crossed for you 😊

Pinkfamily · 14/11/2019 09:15

💫💫💫This is our month ladies 💫💫💫💫

LanieM87 · 14/11/2019 13:04

🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Waiting2BAMummy · 14/11/2019 14:04

It’s hard to keep positive for yourself @LanieM87 and the more failed attempts the more difficult that becomes.

We’ve got this ladies.... wishing you all a BFP this month.... xx

OP posts:
Pinkfamily · 15/11/2019 09:35

@VNAWENN did you get the FRER tests yet? All your symptoms do sound very promising!
@Waiting2BAMummy how are you? How many DPO are you now?
@LanieM87 I keep going back and forth with the only one insemination and timing....today I feel less positive than yesterday!

Pinkfamily · 15/11/2019 09:35

@TimeIhadaNameChange how are you doing?

VNAWENN · 15/11/2019 09:38

Well it seems AF has started for me today. Very strange how it all started but never the less she has reared her ugly head!

I am keeping my finger crossed for everyone else this month xxxx

Waiting2BAMummy · 15/11/2019 09:41

I’m 8dpo today @Pinkfamily have a strange aching in my left elbow and right knee this morning but I probably just slept funny. I’ve got mild aches in my thighs but I’ve had those once before that I remember before AF.

Have had some twinges in my tummy but nothing to speak of and I usually start getting cramps around a week before AF. Based on last months LP length AF is due on Tuesday so I’m going to test next Saturday if she hasn’t arrived though I am so symptomless that I don’t think I’m going to be needing to as I’m sure AF will have arrived.

Try to stay positive it really only takes one and I’ve read stories of women who only dtd a day or two before their positive opk and they still got their BFP. You timed it well so you’re still in with a chance x

Waiting2BAMummy · 15/11/2019 09:45

I’m sorry to hear that @VNAWENN I know how disappointed you must be. Just because it was only your first month doesn’t make that any easier to take. I generally allow myself to feel sorry for myself the day AF arrives and then the next day I start planning for the next cycle.

I’ve always been a fan of even numbers so hopefully you’ll be successful on attempt number two. xx

OP posts:
Pinkfamily · 15/11/2019 10:09

@VNAWENN is it definitely AF, I only ask as I had a friend who recently found out she was pregnant after 2 days of very light bleeding.
@Waiting2BAMummy you are strong being able to hold out till the Saturday to test!!! I am also very symptomless (think we made up a word there!) But I'm only 6DPO (well, since insemination anyway)

Waiting2BAMummy · 15/11/2019 10:21

Definitely a made up word @Pinkfamily but they’re the best kind!

6dpo is really early especially if you ovulated a day or 2 later. It’s hard trying to keep the faith but also not give yourself false hope.

We’re all here to listen and we all get where you’re at so you just vent when you need to.

LanieM87 · 15/11/2019 17:15

Sorry to hear about AF arriving @VNAWENN like @Waiting2BAMummy says - have a wallow for a day and then try to focus on the next cycle. TTC is a bitch. We are all in the same boat and here to listen 😊

I know what you mean @Pinkfamily You just never know if you've done enough l.

I read yesterday though that apparently only a third of fertilised eggs actually implant, which I found quite interesting and also a bit depressing! I wish we were able to know if the sperm did meet the egg because that would answer a lot of timing questions. Apparently it's quite instantaneous if the blastocyst is viable or not and if not it won't implant.

Waiting2BAMummy · 15/11/2019 21:29

I read somewhere it was fifty percent @LanieM87. It so confusing when there is so much conflicting information and as you say it would be helpful to know if the egg does actually get fertilised, even if it doesn’t implant, at least then you would know you’re doing all the right things.

OP posts:
Pinkfamily · 17/11/2019 09:54

Hi ladies how is everyone?
@Waiting2BAMummy are you still managing to hold out (till next Saturday) any symptoms or are you trying to keep level headed? I'm really wanting to hold out to test on day I'm due period (Sunday 24th) but I'm already looking at FRER and wondering if I should test earlier. Trying to be strong though, keep going back and forth.
@LanieM87 exactly, I would just like to know if at least the sperm met the egg then we would know timing was right!!! Be nice if we could like x-ray ourselves and see what the hell is going on in there 😂😂

Waiting2BAMummy · 17/11/2019 10:12

I’m due AF on Tuesday (but could be later as that’s just based on last months LP) @Pinkfamily. I’m definitely going to hold out until at least Thursday but honestly I think AF will have arrived by then. I’ve read so many posts from women who ‘just knew’ they were pregnant and I don’t feel anything. I’m not even tempted to test because I know it will be negative.

I know it’s hard but I would hold out if I were you. The earlier you test the more chance you have of seeing a negative (even if you are pregnant) and you risk putting yourself through the upset of a chemical. I would try to hold out until at least 12dpo. I know it’s easy for me to say that and I think I only feel like that now because after so many failed attempts I’m more likely to believe it hasn’t happened again. Back when I first started trying I was desperate to test from the moment of insemination lol so I do get it.

OP posts:
Pinkfamily · 17/11/2019 17:26

@Waiting2BAMummy for every woman that "just know" there must be women who didn't. I also think that as some women have morning sickness etc, they must be more aware of it sooner. So try to keep positive hon.
I agree (when I'm being level headed) that it is best to wait. Also read a lot of women getting BFP on chemical pregnancy (I didn't know this was a thing) so will hold out as long as possible. Luckily I have a busy week so that's good.
@VNAWENN thinking of you- I hope you are okay.

Waiting2BAMummy · 17/11/2019 18:10

I know you’re right @Pinkfamily I guess that I just thought I’d know and it’s hard to believe it will ever happen when I’ve been trying now for a year (10 attempts). I would love to be proven wrong though! Just satin’ in case the universe is listening lol stay strong it’s good that you’ve got a busy week to keep you occupied.

How you getting on @LanieM87?

@VNAWENN you’ve gone quiet hope you’re okay.
