I had my first insem CD13 positive opk CD 15 and 2 further insems CD15 & 16 today is CD17.

I’m really going to try not to think about it this month but we’ll see. Nothing I can do about it now either way and obsessing isn’t helping anything.

I’ll let you know how that goes this time next week when I’m asking doctor google if breathing is a sign of early pregnancy!! 🤣🤣

@Waiting2BAMummy I plan on being open from the start and give age appropriate information- children are very accepting of things (they have no frame of reference so will accept what you tell them as "normal") I have worked with children before as well, and the amount of different variations of family units these days are fantastic. Are you officially on your TWW now? My delivery came today so now it's just a case of waiting for the positive OPK!
@VNAWENN half way through now!!! I'm worrying about going to the gym after insemination, but want to keep busy and in my normal routine hmmm will see!

So glad to have you ladies to talk through all this with! We can (try) keep each other sane in our TWW!!!

I was worried about physical activity too and even worried about riding my bike to work 🤦🏼‍♀️ but I've just been trying to not push myself too hard but still take part ie walks etc xx

Yeah I think I'll stick to yoga etc and give the high intensity classes a rest for a bit!

Delivery is due for Monday. As usual I'm panicking that my dates are all messed up and I'll have missed my ovulation. But I'm trying to remain calm and not get stressed, I'm gunna start testing tomorrow and if all goes to plan then I'll get my static Tuesday! Fingers crossed!

Think positive @LanieM87, you’re going to get your positive on Tuesday. Besides even if your LH surge decides to play a nice game of hide and seek (as ours have done before) if your tank isn’t being delivered until Monday you’ve got some wiggle room.

I ovulated cycle day 16 last month and today is 15, so I've been panicking a bit, my AF was a day longer this month though, so I'm hoping my positive can hold off til tomorrow, my order is coming at 12 on Monday so I might try and nip home at lunch time and I should still be in with a chance.

But of course I could be worrying over nothing and still be a couple of days away from a static!

So I'm CD13 today and just got my static smiley, I usually ovulate around CD14/15 but of course our bodies like to play around at times!!!
I shall be inseminating tonight (as DP is out on work/business) but now I'm slightly worried as don't want to miss it....I did test yesterday and it was a definite no....its funny how quickly it can change!

So it didn't come in two vials only one.....@LanieM87 just a heads up in case you only ordered 1ml, maybe it's a new thing they do?
I did think it was odd that they only put one syringe in the pack.
Anyway so I didn't take much notice of this yesterday DP deals with getting it out the box etc so I didn't no till this morning (when I wanted to do second insemination) I'm now stressing about timing it was done around 9:30pm. I've checked and got a positive OPK today don't know if this is a good or bad thing.
Not much I can do now apart from wait 😬

Oh thanks for that @Pinkfamily I wonder if they only do it separately if you order two. Will see what happens with mine tomorrow. Not the end of the world I guess, especially if my positive arrives today.

I think you're timing is ok! Hopefully it's there waiting for your egg to be released in the next 12 or so hours. There's a fair bit of evidence to say that frozen can live just as long as fresh!

@Waiting2BAMummy it definitely seems to be getting harder the further I get through this cycle. I'm CD 23/9 DPO. TMI but I'm checking everything constantly like my CM, trying to not come to conclusions but there are signs. I know it's still too early to test really so trying to hold out!

@LanieM87 yeah I don't know why I thought it would be in two, as now I think about it, it doesn't make sense they would. It such small quantities that to get it smaller would be difficult! Oh I'm glad you said that about frozen as it does seem to get a bad press. Though I know @TimeIhadaNameChange managed to do it, and they even gave her different dates the she thought!!! Keep us updated with everything tomorrow 😊
@VNAWENN it must be so hard not to symptom check! I'm trying to keep the next two weeks as busy as possible, but no doubt I'll be driving myself mad!! Are you going to test 14DPO?

Hmm well I ordered two vials last time and it came as 4, the paperwork said that you use two at a time, so I assumed that's just how they send them out!

No static today, but I feel it's imminent, my OPK's have been slightly darker which is usually a good sign so I think I might get my static tomorrow. It's looking like my timings are as good as they can be! Eek!

You’re doing well @VNAWENN and you’re right it does get harder as you get further through your cycle. I’m usually okay the first week and then the second week I swing daily (who am I kidding, hourly!!) between thinking I’m pregnant and being convinced that I’m not. I think I’m okay in the first week because a lot of articles/posts that I’ve read say you can’t possibly feel any different until after implantation when HCG starts being released and implantation generally doesn’t happen until at least 6dpo. That said I’ve read so many posts from women who list their symptoms by dpo (starting at 1) and did go onto get a BFP and as much as other shout them down because it’s just not possible, I think it’s possible that your body knows when the egg has been fertilised. Is it not possible that there is some small chemical reaction that takes place at that point? I mean it’s a foreign body invading a cell surely that’s something our bodies are going to pick up on? Whether or not you feel you’re having symptoms at that point I guess depends on how sensible your body is and how in tune you are.

@LanieM87 that’s great about your positive opk. Hopefully you’ll get it tomorrow and get on with it when your tank arrives, sounds like great timing to me. Good luck.

@Pinkfamily, I know it’s stressful that things didn’t go exactly according to plan but, as @LanieM87 says, it is possible that frozen swimmers live as long as fresh and you did ‘try’ several hours after your positive so if you ovulate 24 hours after your LH surge then,with the 12 hours it takes them to get where they need to be, you should be right on time. Remember it only takes 1!

@Pinkfamily I think I may test before then but not sure when 😬 it's so hard to know when is the right time?

@Waiting2BAMummy thank you. I'm trying so hard but you hit the nail on the head. I'm convinced I'm pregnant then 5 minutes later I tell myself I'm being ridiculous and the likelihood of it work first time is so low that I should know better! The joys of the TTC journey 🤣

Right, I've (finally) sent the spreadsheet to @LanieM87 and @Pinkfamily. I can't promise miracles I'm afraid, but it does, at least, pull together various bits of data that I found online and give a more overall picture (imo at least). There's a helluva lot of room for variability, but I did it because I wanted to see the overall picture, and at least feel I had a little bit of control over it all.

Anyway, I hope it helps.
