I’ve never done temping so I’m afraid I don’t know Mandy! Have you charted your whole cycle or just taken your temp today?

@closephine85 The trigger is still in your system at 9dpo? Did you just have the one HGC trigger or a booster too? Will you test again soon?

I haven't tested yet as don't want to risk a false positive. Probably going to crack soon though. It doesn't help that I got an early positive last time so thinking it might happen again!

Mandy I think body temperature is elevated in pregnancy (it's also higher in the luteal phase of the cycle compared to the follicular phase) but not convinced you call tell much from a single temperature as so many other things can affect it. Keeping everything crossed for you though. When are you due to test?

Unfortunately yes! It’s always still there at 9dpo and just the one trigger shot, but figured if I did a test today at least I would have something to compare any future ones to. Still not really feeling anything though so I’m not optimistic

When did you get your positive last time?

My temp is usually 36,6-8. It probably means nothing though. Just trying to keep hopes up as it's my last two embryos. Test date is next Thursday. Having said that last time I did one at 8dp5dt and got positive. I'm really trying not to test early this time. Also been peeing way more often than normal but again could just be the amount of water I'm drinking from the heat.

I only brought the thermometer with me because I had a fever the week before I left and thought I might need it- dunno what for. One of my many ridiculous brainwaves in the last couple of weeks. The other was actually brining my laptop with me thinking I was going to do some work! Yeah right! It's not moved out of the safe!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Last time I had a clear positive on FRER at 11dpo. I had a couple of EXTREMELY faint positives on cheap tests at 9dpo and 10dpo, but I didn't realise they were positive at the time as they just had a tiny smudge of colour where the test line goes.

I'm supposed to test on Wednesday. Totally going to test earlier though!

Cracked and took a cheapy this morning. Thought I could see the squintiest of squinters so took a FRER (I had saved a jam jar of wee for this very purpose!). The second line is faint, but certainly there.

I took the trigger shot 11 days ago and the patient information says it can stay in the system for up to 10 days. However after closephine's experience I am paranoid that it's just the trigger!

I feel full of hope but I know I'll be heartbroken if it turns out to be just the trigger or a chemical pregnancy.

The cat was much more attentive than usual last night, wanting cuddles at 7pm when normally she would come in to say hi when I get home from work, then immediately go out again.

@TinyPaws they do say animals know before we do. When I had my last transfer she (🐱) came and laid on my stomach for ages when I first got home. She's not usually that cuddly- wanting to be in close proximity but not cuddly.
Sounds like it might have worked! 🎉 test again Saturday to see if the line is any darker and keep us posted. 🧚‍♀️👶🏻🤞🏻

Meanwhile I still haven't started, now 6 days over my "normal" 21 day cycle. I bloody hate my body!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I just had the worst hot flush that lasted over an hour! Is it a sign...am I going crazy...is it possibly food poisoning I just has some chicken kebab meat and caught sight of a piece that was on the pink side obviously didn't eat that one but now wondering if there were others. This was about 2 hrs ago. 🙄😩 I'm such a moron but I thought I was being safe going to the same place I ate at yesterday. I properly hate myself!!!!

Try not to worry Tiny, my body is weird and I think holds onto it longer than most so fingers crossed!

Have you had any symptoms? I’m pretty sure I’m going to be seeing stark white BFN tomorrow if I can bring myself to test

@Mandy002 Hopefully it's either just the hot weather or the progesterone making you feel like that! Don't beat yourself up you didn't do anything wrong!

@closephine85 Today I've been feeling nauseous and my boobs have grown. They always get a bit bigger when I have PMS but they've grown more than I would expect! I hope it really is something and not just all in my head! Can I ask which trigger shot you took? The reason I'm worried about it still being the trigger (other than your experience) is because after the miscarriage it took me ages to get a negative test, so my body obviously also holds on to hCG for quite a while! I really hope it's just too early for you to have symptoms, apparently some women don't get any at all until 6 weeks +!

I know it can be hard @closephine85 but try to stay positive I've heard of many people with no symptoms who still get their BFP

Thanks @TinyPaws . I needed that..sometimes even when u know you're being daft it takes someone else to offer reassurance for you to believe it. At the moment I can't get in touch with family with any worries as they will just worry and I'm not in the country. I think it might be progesterone I feel reasonably fine now. Ps hope this makes sense typing without my glasses. Thank god for predictive text ...hopefully anyway

The only symptoms I had with my DS were period cramps but I wasn’t tracking that cycle so I don’t know when they started in relation to missed period. My boobs actually hurt less than usual.

I don’t know, just don’t feel good in my gut about it. If I don’t come back on here you’ll know why!

@closephine85 The cycle I got a BFP on was the first one in which I had no symptoms. My period was late and alcohol tasted slightly funny (work do so I had to show willing even though I'd largely given up drinking while ttc) but I'd had far more "symptoms" in the previous few cycles when nothing was actually happening. Don't lose hope. X

Took another test this morning and it's not significantly darker than yesterday's, not noticeably lighter either! I felt so sure I was pregnant yesterday but now I think it may be leftover trigger and feel stupid for believing it!

This uncertainty is horrible!

@TinyPaws doesn't it take 2 days for darkness to improve? Don't loose hope yet...at least it wasn't lighter. I felt sure I was preggo yesterday too and now nothing! It's a terrible rollercoaster this tww!

Mine is definitely lighter today so I really think I’m out now. Have been here so many times before (58 times to be precise) I don’t know how I manage to continue to hope it might be different.

Unfortunately my test is also definitely lighter today so I think it must be either the trigger or a chemical pregnancy. Absolutely gutted - I was convinced this was it.

Expecting AF tomorrow.
