Smithguy86 glad your results are back, are you having natural cycle IUI?

Great news tlc! Yes this will be our first round of IUI so we are pretty new to it all! Went and bought ovulation kits on the way home from work to do over the weekend!

Yes tinypaws it’s a natural IUI cycle our clinic try the first cycle natural, trying not to get my hopes up too much!

Aw wow so Smith and Tinypaws sounds like we will be going through it all roughly same times! Crossing my fingers for you that all goes smoothly it's so exciting isn't it but I'm also getting nervous now it all so real

Yesterday I went to my FC for the Beta HCG - my official test date was Wednesday but delayed:

• work commitments
• wanted to be tested later so there could be no doubt in my mind of result.

I may have been testing with FRERs since Sunday

Anyhoo I got a BFP - I am very happy.
Given my past issues (2 MCs) I know I am not out of the woods yet - so may well lie low for a while to help me get through this part. I am not telling family or most RL friends until I am way past the viability scan (which I am going to try and have as last as possible to avoid the highs and lows of the last 2 pregnancies).

If I do a bit quiet please know that I am thinking of you all and wishing you the best of luck.

Live in the moment is very sage advice @Everhopeful76 and I am trying to do that (but with a little forward planning - had a bit of a shock yesterday when I realised I was running out of meds... again!).
@Everhopeful76 I can only imagine how hard all the decisions you are facing must be - but so far you have dealt with each hurdle, and I am sure you will continue to do so.

Injected myself for the first time today! (The nurse did it yesterday). It was not as bad as I thought - the needle is tiny.

I hope I grow the correct number of follicles!

I'm gearing up for a FET on Friday and started medication today. Steroid tablet in the morning and Lubion and clexane injections in the evening. No pessaries this time - hurrah! Still on the hormone patches.

Pineapple is on sale in Aldi at the moment - I bought one for about 60p. Should I take it as a sign?

Well done on your first injection Tiny - it is such a big step. I danced round the sitting room once I did it for the first time!

Ooh exciting tiny I liked doing there injections it made the days leading up to iui more bearable as felt like I was doing something

@TinyPaws good luck with it all. Is it the buserelin injections for long protocol? I had nasal spray this time but much prefer the injections.
I stopped taking buserelin on the 26th. I need to have a (wash out) break till 31st before starting HRT. A bit worried as I was supposed to have some bleeding and nothing has happened yet. Anyone had any experience in this? I'm probably panicking but I can't help thinking something has gone wrong. Hope everyone is doing well. x

Latenightreader Ooh exciting times! I can’t stand pineapple, what is it supposed to do? I confess the gf and I danced around the kitchen after the injection was done (she offered to inject me but I declined as she will not always be available when I need to inject)

Mandy I’m doing stimulated IUI. Unfortunately I’ve no experience with your protocol but hope everything goes well for you!
