Postelberger had an allergic reaction which sounds grim, was in hospital but all right now. Shame to make it to the last Friday and not to get to Paris!

Crikey! I caught the last 5 minutes of yesterday's stage and couldn't believe what I was seeing at all!!! Just how is it possible to put 1.30 into everyone else???

I know I'm comfortably in last place and accept that position on the Mumsnet Mayhem mini league . However, I'm uncomfortably close to being bottom of the whole 13,428 participants in the Great Big Bike Game - currently 13,292nd

Caught the highly unlikely headline of Pogacar winning the yellow jersey and had to check I was reading it properly. As Boadman says, Roglic must have suffered a puncture in both legs.

Weird seeing Paris so empty for the TdF. So glad for Sam today after years of being left behind in favour of Sagan.

There's a delicious schadenfreude in the way that he has beaten Sagan for the green jersey!

Really enjoyed this year's race, and the twist at the end was almost too dramatic for me! Impressed by Pogacar, sad for Roglic and very pleased for Porte and Bennett.

Was a good race. Much more interesting without Sky/ineos just dominating. So, when's the next grand tour? Can't be long to wait.

2-3weeks I think

The Giro starts on October 2nd and the Vuelta on October 20th. There's a magic Sunday on Oct 25th when the Giro and Vuelta overlap, and its also Paris-Roubaix. I won't know where to look! I've definitely got Post Grand Tour Malaise today. I might have to do some of the ironing that's been building up over the last 3 weeks.

I had Primoz Roglic on my velogames team. :(

It was a great race, through - despite being pipped at the post. I have loved watching Sky/Ineos and their triumphs in the past, but I can’t help feeling that the race was more interesting without one team dominating.
