Yeah I know!!!!!
Juliette Lewis is here too but I fear she may in fact be somewhat of a loon.

Anyway.....I can't believe no one has sited Burt B's muse Dionne Warwick.

Ummmmm.....will do.

It's all through dh now though, gone are the days when I was the rock chick with her finger on the pulse and a chef to the stars

However mustn't grumble

MrsJohnCusack · 07/02/2007 09:19

Dionne Warwick has just actually been to Christchurch, but I couldn't go
we don't get many people that big here (although me and my mother went to see PAm Ayres the other week )

SSShakeTheChi · 07/02/2007 09:19

Aretha Franklin? I dunno some good songs but I always feel like she's shrieking. Where is the voice coming from? Surely it's too high up,like it's being forced out from the neck. Her voice gets a bit on my nerves after a bit although I'd say she is a good sort.

I can listen to Bryn Terfel anytime. I love his voice. In fact I will go out today and get a CD, just thinking about it makes me feel happy

Yeah, I'd agree with whoever said Neil Diamond has a good voice. At least I like it.

MrsJohnCusack · 07/02/2007 09:20

oh that should be my mother and I

AshNotTheHousewaresOne · 07/02/2007 09:27

i admit for the first time ever to owning the Juliette and the licks albums.....but thats cos i still have a big schoolboy style crush on her....thats sooooo embarrassing!

aDad · 07/02/2007 09:30

sorry this may qualify as a bit of a hijack, but for pixies fans:

this guy's site is really funny.

It's covers of pixies songs in the style of different artists like the beegees, prince, jimi hendrix. All done by one guy.
