is it a full moon? Is that why I found myself in tears earlier?

lucykate · 01/02/2007 21:35

crosby, stills and nash?

utterlyconfused · 01/02/2007 21:35

Oh Frumpy, I like you. Ray is my absolute hero.

And up for a Brit so vote for him

frumpygrumpy · 01/02/2007 21:35

Sally, tis why I luuuurve him. I am a fellow old scottish drunk

Mercy · 01/02/2007 21:36

2nerves, exactly - it seems so effortless. If you like Frank I would recommend Chet Baker.

Is he? How do I vote? I will. I adore Trouble, one of those CDs you chuck on and even though you've just bought it, feel you've heard it many times before.

2nervesleft · 01/02/2007 21:37

Mercy - Don't think I have ever heard Chet Baker. What genre would he/she sing?

MrsJohnCusack · 01/02/2007 21:37

full moon is tomorrow for you lot (early morning I think) and today for me

but the effects on MN can start early

being mean aren't I (I only know it's here because of old wives tale about being more likely to go into labour at the full moon and hoping it works for me)

utterlyconfused · 01/02/2007 21:38

I think you go on to the Brits website and all the categories are there.
Did you see him in concert? If you are a Scot (assuming you are in Scotland)... I saw him in Glasgow last week and he's magic. The next album is even better.

lucykate · 01/02/2007 21:38

i am a huge fleetwood mac fan, one of my favourite tracks of all time is songbird sung by christine mcvie.

If he was lying in a pool of his own vomit........I'd get out the dettol, I'd obviously have to take most of his clothes off [incredulous], clean him up, tuck him in.........slip in beside him and tell him my mum had found him

2nervesleft · 01/02/2007 21:40

I love songbird too but prefer the Eva Cassidy version.

utterlyconfused · 01/02/2007 21:40

Hmmm, Sally, I had similar thoughts to that while listening to him live. It's the way he can sort of whisper and be load all in one breath.

Loud even.

frumpygrumpy · 01/02/2007 21:41

I'm in Edinburgh and couldn't go to see Ray Lamontange when he was last here because my babysitters went!!!! My parents. They had a chat with him in the bar afterwards [boo hiss jealous as sin].

Em, what's he called, the lead singer of The Mavericks, Raoul. Married to whatsherface. He's got a voice like thick Jersey cream.
