British Gas payment for heating costs

I pay British Gas by direct debit. Their website says I will receive £66 into the bank account I pay from a few days after my direct debit is paid. I paid on the 1st October and still nothing . Has anybody else received theirs ?

I suspect they've realised that crediting it to the account is simple and easy. Sending millions of individual payments out to bank accounts is an administrative nightmare.

@Era my two credits are still there but there's an outgoing payment pending of £132 now so looks like they're still sending it through to your bank, just a lag.

Yes Ive seen that this morning. Its silly isn't it. Would be far easier to keep it as a credit on the electricity account but apparently its because then people would reduce their direct debits and they don't want that happening (because they like sitting on people's cash earning millions in interest).

I've just checked the accounts for Oct.
My DD went to BG on 5th Oct
On 12th Oct, my BG shows +£66 discount followed by a second entry of -£66 as outgoing payment.
I got the £66 back in my bank account on 17th October.
I'm expecting a similar gap for this month. I can see the outgoing payment of £66 dated 9th Nov so not expecting it to land in my bank account until the 14th Nov.

Yup ours is now a transfer out showing. Silly thing.
