So have to schlep to the post office now to try and get a letter back which has gone signed for which shouldn’t have gone signed for because the person it’s going to is a bit shifty (apparently) and might reject it and they’re the guarantor for a million plus loan which we’d like back…..ffs.

Nothing else of note happened yesterday. I am feeling overwhelmed at work with an ongoing backlog, so need to flag it and take some time to catch up & sort it out. Going to try to clear my diary of other commitments today & tomorrow, to catch up so I can properly enjoy the weekend and the annual leave day I've booked on Monday.

Possibly. The main goods vessel got into harbour this morning apprently but is now blocked so can’t do it’s onward journey to Guernsey. The pictures are crazy.

Someone has suggested that the fast ferry goes out to clear a path. This is in bad taste as a couple of years ago it crashed into a French fishing boat killing the skipper.

Blimey Em. I hope that as soon as the polls close here it all goes back to normal. The cynic in me sees both party leaders in a poll slump. Nothing like a bit of mural willy waving to improve popularity.

Love hope your dad settles into the nursing home and then you' can relax a bit. It'll be so much better for him to be in a more homely environment.

Unescorted I hope dh isn't messing up the house too much. My dh is away for couple of nights and the house is so much calmer/tidier without him.

I have a teams meeting this morning and I absolutely hate it. It's a course I'm doing through work and it's so difficult to engage as everyone's camera is off apart from the facilitator. I would hate presenting and not seeing people's reactions.

Nsd yesterday. Need to go food shopping later today as had to cancel my Tesco shop due to it clashing with course.

Mrs we had to queue too - it seemed as if everyone from our street had turned up at the same time. The desks for the other streets had no queues.

I won my first £25 on premium bonds, I only hold a small amount of bonds so chuffed with that. Thought I’d need to put more in to ever win.

Felt horrible and slept most of the day yesterday after stabby jabby. Everyone else has colds too, so a household of misery at the moment.

I didn’t get an interview for the job I applied for but they’ve said I’m on the reserve list if someone can’t attend. Would you go though if now offered an interview? It causes great drama to ask my boss for a day off for an interview (can’t take annual leave as on term time contract).
