It's a bit far for me too otherwise I would love to meet you!

ememem84 · 16/04/2021 07:32

Definetly too far for me!! 😂

shipsandgiggles · 16/04/2021 08:00

Hiya thanks for the birthday wishes for DD. She had a really lovely day, we popped into the cafe on the way back from nursery and she had a cake and milkshake. Then DM put up a bouncy castle in her garden and did a little tea party for us. We finished the day with chips outside the boat. I’m glad the weather was good so we could see our family.

We have Netflix, prime and disney. It works out okay for us.

Happy belated birthday to your DH gen I hope he had a good day!

I’m glad to hear your dad is doing better love

Good luck today meadow! I didn’t show much at all with either DC, my family didn’t think I was actually pregnant😂 they ended up being 7lbs 11oz and 8lbs 5oz, not sure where they managed to hide!

I hope you all enjoy your meet up!

£12.35 cafe

North I have newly acquired WhatsApp so that is doable for me. I am not sure how to create a group yet. I am guessing we need to swap numbers as a first step.

We went out to meet friends at the pub last night for the first time in over a year. It was amazing.

Wolfcub · 16/04/2021 08:24

WhatsApp works for me. Happy to set up if you both dm me your number

Booked myself a birthday camping trip. Blooming expensive for camping £40 per night Shockbut it's a one off ( or might be one annual) event at an nt property. Not for a while but will be the first time camping as a single parent and the first time taking df's van away overnight.

Life we will have to do next trip closer to you

Need to pay gardener today. Also need to find charity shops that are open and work out how to tackle the rampant mould on the bathroom ceiling

I will still send you my number wolf. What's the NT thing?

Ugh feel a bit deflated after seeing the midwife. I did try to tell her how bad my anxiety is atm but didn't find her very helpful. I wanted a referral to the perinatal mental health midwife especially as at my birth debrief she told me to get referred to her straight away if I got pregnant again but I was too anxious to actually ask straight out and she didn't mention it. Not seeing her til July now either. I might speak to my GP but I'm not sure a generic talking therapy would be that useful, I dunno. Sad

On the plus side I did the bus to the hospital, appt, bus back, quick pop in two shops and home all without vomiting or retching once. So I'm definitely recovering!!

Spends:
£99 Card Factory on anniversary card for DH
£3.50 Tesco - bread, crisps and gingerbread men Easter Grin
£4.60 bus to and from hospital

I have gotta be honest I don't think I've ever even heard of Bridgewater...(goes off to Google it Grin )

Ships aw sounds like DD had a lovely birthday Smile my DD was just under 7lbs and I only had a small bump, but they thought she stopped growing properly a week or two before the birth and was meant to be bigger. I reckon this one will be bigger.

Unescorted · 16/04/2021 12:43

Meadow it is the new RHS garden in Salford.
Would it be possible to call or email your midwife to ask for the referral. I appreciate that if you are anxious it is difficult.

Gensola · 16/04/2021 13:28

I would love to meet up in the garden but it’s quite far north for me!
We are home from Dorset and I have a work meeting this afternoon. Hair appt tomorrow but only a cut and dry as I’m not allowed hair colour until I know if I’m pregnant or not. If I am pregnant apparently they advise waiting until after 12 weeks, by which point I will look like a scarecrow! Grin

Am raiding freezer to do a meal plan until pay day, then Lidl after my meeting to get bread, eggs and veg. Cancelling expensive veg box until after pay day too.

Unescorted · 16/04/2021 13:39

You will be the best looking scarecrow. Grin

Gensola · 16/04/2021 16:03

marthasmum · 16/04/2021 17:37

meadow I second the idea of contacting your midwife before your next appointment to ask for the referral. You could mention that the perinatal mental health midwife recommended you to do this. Mental health should be a big priority in midwifery.

marthasmum · 16/04/2021 17:38

Ps I know from experience that it can be uncomfortable to be assertive in birth/ pregnancy...just seems that it feels important to you to have this suppoet

Wolfcub · 16/04/2021 17:46

Good bargains Mrs
Gen I'm sure you look lovely
Meadow I agree with the others, write it if it's easier. I know I sometimesattuggle to say what I need

House cleaned, door polished, bathroom ceiling bleached which also involved bleaching my face and clothes (not good). Old filing cabinet emptied, documents I could sort filed, binned or shredded. The files for divorce kept until its finalised and then I will burn them

Pilates done. Ds dropped at his dad's. Weeds killed. Charity bags put in car ready to drop off. Washing done and on the line.

Stubby nails filed and painted. I have wine now and am trying to decide whether to be good and make myself pasta or be a knobhead and order takeaway

OP posts:
marthasmum · 16/04/2021 17:52

Wolf you surely deserve takeaway, that seems like a day full of effort!

Mrsmadevans · 16/04/2021 17:55

A ceremonial Burning l do hope Wolf Smile
You have been so busy chill out now lovely Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/04/2021 18:03

Well done wolf that's very productive. Now pricing up campervan hire.

Not productive here. £130 Sainsbury's but £2.50 refund and £21 was MIL

SnugglySnerd · 16/04/2021 18:06

Nsd! Been put enjoying the sunshine with the dcs again. It has been such a lovely week and they seem to have reached an age where taking them all out on my own isn't as stressful anymore! Don't really want to go back to work next week.

Wolfcub · 16/04/2021 18:30

Sounds like a lovely day Snuggly

Has anyone ever made frying pan pizza? If so what did you think and if it was good what recipe did you use

OP posts:
SnugglySnerd · 16/04/2021 19:08

Wolf DJ made one in lockdown 1 using a Jamie Oliver recipe. It would have been great except the recipe was for 2 pizzas and he just made one so it was a bit...filling Grin
