A very spendy week. I paid a €xxxx sum to my solicitor. I finally managed to place an order with a garden centre who delivers. They don't have many plants left but I ordered four or five plants and lots of garden ornaments to brighten up the garden. I ordered two pairs of runners from Sports Direct because I've holes in mine. Finally, I ordered a shirt and cropped trousers from Boden. I searched online and found a 20% off code for Boden.
Now that I've got all my spending out of my system, I'm back on the straight and narrow
.
I was in Lidl early this morning. The 'elderly hours' are from 9 - 11 so I got there for about 8.20 and was out before 9. Then I hit Centra for the other bits. I've just had breakfast - a very tasty pain au chocolat. They were selling lavender plants in Lidl and also small maple trees and some other small trees with green leaves. Customers were snapping them up - one woman had about six small trees in her trolley
. She must have a big garden. I resisted temptation
.

€31.27 in Lidl
€13.61 in Centra
I've also ordered some lamb pieces from my local butcher but I haven't paid him yet. Lamb stew for dinner.
The postman delivered two parcels this morning - cat collars (DD owes me for these) and door wedges for the back door and the door from the kitchen out to the utility room. We've been leaving the back door open so the cats can go in and out, but if it's windy, the doors keep slamming shut.
Our lockdown runs until this weekend, so there's a lot of speculation about whether it will be extended beyond that. The worst bit is that we can only exercise within 2 kms from home.
My hairdressing scissors arrived yesterday so DD trimmed my fringe. She did a pretty good job. It's still a little long - I might get her to take another few cms off.
DD and I watched 'Sister Act' on Disney+ last night. I'd never seen it myself - we really enjoyed the music.
Unescorted sounds like you live in a beautiful place. I love your bartering system
. I've been chatting a lot more to my neighbours also.
north I love your sewing projects, especially the star one.
I can empathise with the emotional seesaw - feeling positive one day and then feeling really down in the dumps the next. Right now I'm feeling positive. The sun is shining for now and I've my garden delivery to look forward to.
Love I'm sorry to hear about your Dad
. Sending you big hugs and

life sorry to hear about your unwelcome visitors
em poor DD. Hope she's not too miserable.
