These ones were in the boys section.
There were none in the girls or mens section. I did ask an employee and they said they are getting all their Pjs in by the end of the month, but didn't know if they would be HP ones.

Wow wreck that is impressive!
Wolf that bread looks tasty!
Curls that is great news, maybe you could go away, or use it for Christmas?

Primark £27 on a few bits for me and the kids, it should have been more, but a couple of things were reduced, always nice when that happens.
Wilkos £9.95 on some zipper bags, sticky notes for work. Pens for ds2 and worming tablets for the cat.
£3.99 h and m on a top
£15.41 in lidl on shopping. Mainly on fresh fruit and veg.
It's so low because I had a proper look at everything in the cupboards and freezers, and have enough food for 7 dinners, maybe 8. I will need to get more bread, and maybe some more soft fruits, but I was very happy with my frugal ness. I think wolf inspired me Smile

I never made it to the gardens in the end. We had misty rain all day.

We had 'home made' pizzas for dinner using pizza bases - we put peppers, mushrooms, anchovies, ham and mozzarella cheese on top. Really tasty.

Off to watch Strictly from last week 'cos I haven't seen it yet.

WreckTangled · 15/09/2019 19:17

We had homemade pizzas too! I made a low carb one and dd made one she had done previously in cooking club at school. It was just yoghurt flour and baking powder I think.

Wolfcub · 15/09/2019 19:41

£128 skateboard, pads and helmet for ds’s birthday

CurlsandCurves · 15/09/2019 20:39

Curvy I’m just going to put it away for now. Something will turn up that needs money spending on it, always the way. I save for Christmas all year round so that’s already covered. If it’s not been used by the new year I’ll use it as a deposit on a holiday possibly.

This month is going really well so far. Half way through and still under budget. Although DS1 has started Explorers and so that needs subs paying and uniform to buy. But it’s not extortionate.

Girliefriendlikescake · 15/09/2019 22:05

We had a nice afternoon at the beach with the puppy, its been beautiful weather here.

Spent around £15 on parking, ice creams, cup of tea and a cake.

Puppy completely knackered now!

Curvy thank you for the Primark/HP info! If I can get into town I may have a look but am still tempted to go ahead with Asda as I find it really difficult to get to Primark (my kids turn feral within 100m of the place 😂) and the price isn't so different as I thought. Thank you again for looking - you're right about the warm and fuzzies of this corner of MN!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 16/09/2019 07:39

No worries madden, I hear you on primark, I try really hard to go by myself!
Not sure if you could see the price for the shorts PJ set, there are £6.
I got my dd2 HP pjs from asda last year and they have washed really well.

Curls that makes sense.
Girlie aww so cute!

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/09/2019 07:48

We have Primark and Asda hp pj and they both wash well.

Spendy day today as need to go to boots, Primark, the works, Wilko

Ug. Woken up with stomach ache and nausea so this morning is a struggle. And to top it off we realised this morning that DH left our buggy by the side of the road yesterday when he took DD to a party and loaded her into the car afterwards. He’s really peed off as he now has to go and look for it (traffic will be horrendous) and I doubt it’ll still be there. It was a very useful Maclaren techno XT, nice and sturdy, big enough for a toddler, lies flat etc. We don’t have any other buggy, having got rid of the pram, so we’ll need to get one today so mum can do the school run tomorrow. It’s VERY annoying. I’ll try local FB but we’ll need a sturdy one that lies flat (DD still naps) so if there’s nothing suitable in the offing that I can pick up today I’ll have to buy new. Any recommendations for something that fits the bill but isn’t as pricey as the Maclaren? I expect we’ll be past buggies in a year or so so I’d rather not spend too much. What a waste of money!

Finished my work at about 10.30pm last night so at least I got a normal sleep. Now bracing myself for the comments back.... not sure what sort of work day I’m going to have!

House is a complete bomb site following the jumble trail (stuff still everywhere) and DH being mostly in charge of the kids this weekend. I am wfh, will have to be very disciplined not to just tidy up!

This post is all about me, sorry. I’m just venting.... 😬😬😬

ChristmasSeacow · 16/09/2019 08:22

That puppy is lush 😍

Bornlazy · 16/09/2019 08:37

Girlie he is adorable you can see him getting bigger now.

Sea 😵 that is so annoying. I bet you had a few choice words to say about that.

Very spendy weekend £219 Ikea, £32 B&Q and £35 Argos. Also had takeaway twice Blush as we were decorating ds1’s bedroom and totally exhausted. Room looks great though so worth it.

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/09/2019 08:38

Vent away sea. That's very annoying.

CurlsandCurves · 16/09/2019 09:16

How annoying Seacow . Hope it’s found, or you can source another one fairly cheaply. I had a techno xt, they are good so I feel your pain! Fingers crossed you spot one in a charity shop or on a Facebook selling page.

Supposed to be going to Zumba, but I’m really not feeling it. Had some Prosecco last night which is never a good idea on a school night, so I’m feeling wiped out, even after 3 mugs of coffee! Going to do the food shop and get some work done instead.

ChristmasSeacow · 16/09/2019 10:13

DH found the buggy! Against all the odds it was still there by the road! He got stuck in traffic for his troubles but at least I don’t need a new one (I haven’t checked it yet but that assuming a Fox didn’t poo on it or similar). Big relief. I had been very pleased with myself for not buying any new pram / buggy for DD so fingers crossed it sees us out.

Did the school run with difficulty as I feel dreadful. I’ve had a cough and sore chest for about a week and now a dodgy tummy and shivery). Ug.

Girliefriendlikescake · 16/09/2019 13:32

Glad you found the buggy sea hope you feel better soon. My dd had a mclaren and absolutely loved it, I had to prise her out of it when she started school 😳🤣

I'm wfh today as well and totally get what you mean about being disciplined and not getting side tracked tidying up or playing with the puppy 😬

Need to do an Aldi shop later but no other spends planned.

Happierwithouthim · 16/09/2019 14:55

This morning I made a booking with booking.com for a wedding I'm attending in November €154, I then emailed to get the wedding rate & it's €99 so I've cancelled my booking.com booking.

I had a discount code for 10% back on a booking to use before end of Sept but I'll use it for booking somewhere to stay night of hen instead!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 16/09/2019 17:52

Good bit of saving there happier.

Today I went to hospital for my pre-op checks for drainage/removal of my cyst. The nurse I spoke to was lovely and we had a chat about all sorts of things.
My operation is in October, so not that long to wait now.

Spends today
£3.50 on lunch
£4.50 travel

Wolfcub · 16/09/2019 17:56

Sea good news on the pram but sorry you are feeling rubbish. Hope your work day was better than Friday, ours is like that too for comments - often I think so people can feel important rather than them adding anything constructive to the product.

CamdenTownie · 16/09/2019 20:09

Sea - I've done that so many times in the past, once or twice I even left my purse in the hood pocket Confused I am generally very scatty and dh is organised and never forgets a thing which can be a bit annoying.

How's every ones Monday been? I always find Monday's difficult but it's usually more of a state of mind than any particular problem.

I've got a mouth full of ulcers and last week had a coldsore which has left a big red scar on my top lip/ face. Ive has this before and it lasts for about a year before it fades, I have to used industrial concealer to hide it.

Spends today we're pretty low, less than £3 in Lidl on grapes, bananas and new potatoes.

Bit annoyed because I ordered some stuff from Matalan yesterday only to find a £7 off voucher code this morning so I'm
Debating re-ordering, but not sure 🤔

10 days until payday, £123 left in the bank!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 16/09/2019 20:59

Glad the buggy was still there Sea.

I don't like Mondays either Camden, always think I'm going to forget something!

SnugglySnerd · 16/09/2019 22:15

My Monday was busy and tiring but productive. I forgot to take my morning banana to work with me and I am still hungry despite having had 3 meals and a snack this evening.
Our funds are looking low for the rest of the month because we did some xmas shopping. At least Dec won't seem quite so bad!

northender · 16/09/2019 22:59

Quick check in. Have meal planned for the week & done food shopping. Mum brought fruit from her garden today, so just need to decide what to do with it now! Love this time of year.
