I may or may not have paw patrol plasters for twenty year old me in the cupboard Blush

Cagliostro · 18/02/2019 19:19

Well if you can’t put a fun picture on an ouchie then what’s the point? :o

Unescorted · 18/02/2019 19:21

We have Mr Men ones …. only DS uses them. Me and DD are allergic to them glue in them, so totally over the top bandages for us and DH is never one to be undersold so uses the OTT bandages solution too.

Unescorted · 18/02/2019 19:22

Them glue ….???? the glue. I was not doing a posting version of blackfacing honest.

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/02/2019 19:45

No advice on moon cups but yeah meadow on lunch.

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/02/2019 19:52

Loads of spends today.

What can I do with 1/2 kg of too runny peanut butter?

Wolfcub · 18/02/2019 19:58

Life make Lonely’s flapjack with it or peanut butter cheesecake

Meadow I had a mooncup. I think either QuiteQuite or Fluffy has one too. I would not have found it practical for work but it could cope with my axe-murderer periods. I’m going to second the vote for Cerelle. That might be a FluffyFluffy one too

I was thinking of Laska earlier, I hope you are okay my lovely. We miss you and are here when you are ready

Lend us a plaster sneaky 😂. I'm jealous of growing basil, I kill off shop bought stuff...

Understand how you feel seacow, I'm embarrassed to say even now I think we've only managed two nights away and that was this year😂. But, you know the DC will be fine and this will do you so much good.

Love that you got out for lunch meadow, sounds like Dd did well in the high chair, DS wouldn't have even done that believe me...

Spends
£15 Aldi but all cheaper products that I've taken out of the Ocado basket to check out.

I've genuinely no tits so no point in entering bra talk😂

LonelyOversharer · 18/02/2019 20:31

I think I am about to order my poly tunnel. Maybe. I really really want it. But it's soooo much money. I can 0% it along with the little car, but I'm dithering. I know we'll never get the money back in veg savings, but that isn't the point really here. It's to have a sustainable supply of zero food miles veggies. I could just buy the basic kit, and save hundreds, but without the proper anchors it will fly away, and without the irrigation rail everything will die.

cag I'm on a mission to finish my wip's (work-in-progress) and have found Rowans blanket!!! I crocheted all the squares about 2 years ago but only learnt how to join them the other day! So I'm finishing it off. PM me so I can post it to you pleeease 💜

seacow no wonder you are wobbling. Going so far is huge. Big deep breath. You will have a fab time, the dc will be safe and happy, win-win. It's just a few days, just cry all the way to the airport and put your mascara on later xxx

unescorted I ended up with a summer bike (full carbon Kuota), a winter bike (carbon fork alloy Avanti), and a dog run hybrid (Forme) !! I also have a 29er, but it needs a headset. I haven't ridden any of them for over a year. So a bit of a waste, all things considered.

Would have been a nsd, but dp went out and got loo roll, which I totally forgot to buy. I have some ebay posting to do tomorrow, but hopefully that will be it.

ememem84 · 18/02/2019 20:52

meadow yay!!! Go you!! In my opinion the 7 month old happily being spoon fed whilst out is a show off. Ds wouldn’t let me spoon feed him while we were out ever. He likes to be “independant” and likes to feed himself. And rub food I. His hair/face/jumper...

Jacket potato with chilli for dinner. Yummmmm

I walked to dparents again. Nice walk after work. Walking also means I get a bit of extra time with ds. Yay.

Catface has been super clingy since we got back from the vets. She literally won’t leave me alone. Needs to be either in the same room or practically on top of me at all times.

ememem84 · 18/02/2019 20:53

I’m not brave enough for a mooncup. The thought of it freaks me out.

ChristmasSeacow · 18/02/2019 21:08

I don’t enjoy a rummage down there either Em. Not for me.

Unescorted · 18/02/2019 21:11

Em me too.

Lonely When I get up to speed as were you will have to come out with me. I am hoping to do the C2C Walney to Whitby route later in the year ( with a couple of friends - you are v. welcome to join us).

Sea you will have a whale of a time. I am sooooo jealous.

life satay sauce. Fry garlic, ginger, red Thai curry paste & shallot. Add peanut butter, dash of fish sauce, spoon of sugar (jiggery if you can get it), splash of soy (light). Simmer until the sauce gets to splitting stage. Skim off excess fat. leave to cool slightly and then add a good amount of lime juice. (grate the zest in too if you can be faffed).. It can be frozen for use later. It makes a fab dressing for Gado Gado, dip for chicken kababs or simply eat straight from the saucepan.

Wolfcub · 18/02/2019 21:17

Nsd. Went to the seaside mentioned in Unescorted’s post. Parents paid and bought me a nice mug. Df has not stopped going on about how much ds’s soft drink with dinner cost though.

They have suggested we all rent a holiday cottage in the summer holidays. I appreciate this but I’m going to have to consider and option like taking my own car otherwise I will go mental. My df loves a route march. I like a walk but what he likes I am often not capable of.

Unescorted · 18/02/2019 21:28

I couldn't go away with my parents for more than 24 hours. I would have to throw myself under a bus or develop a Class A habit.

Wolfcub · 18/02/2019 21:30

That’s the other problem Unescorted. Dm does not drink, at all. She thinks one glass of wine will get you pissed. Now I am not going to cope for a week on a glass of wine or less per evening

OP posts:
Unescorted · 18/02/2019 21:52

That calls for really really really urgent work commitments. Otherwise you will be reduced to climbing out of the bedroom window at night.

SneakyGremlins · 18/02/2019 21:57

Obviously I don't know your family dynamics wolf but can you not pointedly stare and pour yourself a second glass?

Lovemaltesers · 18/02/2019 21:57

I couldn't do it either wolf but then I find more than a couple of hours a bit much Blush

Lovemaltesers · 19/02/2019 00:15

FFS DP has just driven home as our alarm went off and no one else has a key. He thinks something knocked a door open. Now he needs to drive back tomorrow morning to get us (he didn't want us to spoil tomorrow by all going home tonight)

I can breathe now I know our house is in one piece though

ChristmasSeacow · 19/02/2019 03:42

Where are you Love? I Mean how far from home? That’s annoying...

I’ve just finished work. Baby will be up in roughly 3 hours. I still haven’t finished packing and I am locked out of online banking for some reason. And I have come down with a cold.

Gosh I wish I was staying at home right now!

Lovemaltesers · 19/02/2019 05:24

About an hour and a half in no traffic seacow so will take longer for him to get back this morning.

I'm sure you are going to have a great time once you get there Brew

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/02/2019 06:20

Hope you are on you way sea. Have a lovely time.
That's annoying love.

Back to work today for a long one.
Child care failure tomorrow and Friday but will WFH.
DC going to get filthy at aunties farm.

Wolf I'm totally lost on the MN geography. I thought you lived further south.

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/02/2019 06:20

I've screen shot the recipe thanks

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/02/2019 07:02

I'm walking to work and it's light. Spring is coming
