We're sort of pottering slowly toward victory Born. It turned to to be a wheat-reaction, but it took a very long time to figure it out and it's taking even longer to get back on track. Zzzz

Cagliostro · 28/11/2018 13:42

Ooh recipe please curls

I think it’s safe to say we are all better now. Sooo much housework to catch up on 😭

Happierwithouthim · 28/11/2018 15:37

Just sorting out my grocery receipts so that I could charge joint account with anything that isn't for my party night & discovered that I was charged for one can of bulmers rather than 4 Grin

I've only slept in day clothes when paraletic drunk or very occasionally if I've fallen asleep on the couch for so long that changing would wake me

Well done sneaky

Curl sounds brilliant I sometimes think about soup when I'm too hungry already & then don't bother. Is there something about 20 mins for pressure to release too?

Cag great to hear ye are all better Grin
Dd had it Sunday went back to school today & had to come home again after another episode. They're allowing her to take part in Christmas concert once I keep her segregated in audience Hmm

AutumnLeaves12 · 28/11/2018 15:46

Ds tells me that he is singing a solo in the school nativity play. ShockShockShock

I will be feigning a state of extreme relaxation for the next two weeks. Nothing happening here at all.

Lovemaltesers · 28/11/2018 15:54

Well done sneaky

Glad to hear you are all getting over the bug today cag

DP thinks I'm being paranoid, but after my time off work last week, I think work are now looking for any reason to fail my probation. I'm now trying to be on my absolute best behaviour, which in itself is exhausting.

Only three weeks and two days until the Christmas holidays 🎄

Payday too!

Lovemaltesers · 28/11/2018 15:54

How exciting autumn!

AutumnLeaves12 · 28/11/2018 16:08

Thanks Love. Smile What kind of job do you do again?

Lovemaltesers · 28/11/2018 16:14

It's admin work but based in HR. Which probably isn't helping as I hear too much "stuff" which then makes me worry about my own job

AutumnLeaves12 · 28/11/2018 16:21

Yes I could very much imagine how that would be. Take care there. Flowers I imagine everyone around you probably feels the same.

Lovemaltesers · 28/11/2018 16:27

On the plus side I'm not overly attached to my job, but no one wants to be got rid of 😂

I'm going to be the healthiest and hard working I can be until I pass this probation. I might then resign the next day. Ha!

AutumnLeaves12 · 28/11/2018 16:47

Good plan.

SneakyGremlins · 28/11/2018 17:10

40 sausages for £2 in Iceland!

ememem84 · 28/11/2018 17:13

love surely once you pass probation then notice period goes up?!

cag glad to hear you are on the far side of the Kirby. Everyone else who is Polly I wish you healing vibes.....but please keep your germs on your side of the screen. TIA. 😉

Sneaky you know they will be in full curtain twitching mode. There is a reason that the Corrie writers live this way.

I am impressed with all the crimbo organisation. I have decided to fly out of the country on Christmas Eve and return for the NYE party. My idea of a perfect Christmas.

Happierwithouthim · 28/11/2018 17:45

Unescorted sounds lovely too

Happierwithouthim · 28/11/2018 17:47

Has anyone ever got the Gibson 12 days of Christmas calendar, a jigsaw for each day making one big picture. I'm thinking it'd be a nice chill out part of the day for us over the holidays

AutumnLeaves12 · 28/11/2018 18:11

That sounds lovely Happier.

I just realised what electric toothbrush heads cost ShockShockShock

I'm trying to be all organised and if I run out food, instead of living on crisps for a while too long I go out to the co-op and buy a few things to get by until Tesco comes, but now I'm realising what things cost and it's a bit eye-watering. previously gormless frugalleer gradually copping on

Lovemaltesers · 28/11/2018 18:20

Maybe not the best thought out plan em. I just really don't want to get sacked.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 28/11/2018 18:22

Evening all, ludicrously busy day at work today and the rest of the week looks terrible as well 😣 we also have scratchy throats, am praying it's not anything bad as can't take any more time off work! !

Will you try and reintroduce wheat with your ds at some point autumn? I can't imagine giving it up, must make life tricky.

Nsd at least.

Wolfcub · 28/11/2018 18:48

Unescorted that sounds amazing. I am so tempted to do that myself.

I have massively overspent this month, can’t wait for pay day. I do only have presents for dm, df and a couple of bits for ds to buy for Christmas in december though and a birthday present for dgm

Cag don’t go mad with the cleaning

H sent me a present today. I have told him it’s not appropriate. It was a really nice kind thought but it makes me uncomfortable. He also sent his Xmas present order for ds here. I’ve asked him if he wants it back to wrap it.

Difficult day at camhs too so I’ve orders a takeaway I can’t afford for tea (will come out of savings) and I’m having a whisky

SneakyGremlins · 28/11/2018 19:07

Wolf Flowers

I just realised I haven't taken my immunosuppressants this morning or last night. No wonder my skin's sore today Blush

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 28/11/2018 19:07

Evening all.

No work for me today or yesterday as DD2 has been a bit ill, with a temperature and has slept most of the last two days away.

Really need to get back to work as have parent meetings and data needs to be in asap. Hopefully she will be better tomorrow.

NSD for the last two days.

Welcome fizzy
Hope all poorly peeps get well soon.

SneakyGremlins · 28/11/2018 19:16

I bought cold and flu things in Aldi because I would just ONCE like to have them in before I need them!

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/11/2018 19:29

We keep a store. I’m slowly weaning dh off brand names. It’s been 13 years but I’m determined to win.

SneakyGremlins · 28/11/2018 19:41

Have you shown him the thing about the numbers on the pack?
