Thanks for the birthday wishes for dd, she's had a lovely weekend.
I've just done a bit more studying, got to keep on top, hoping to be able to have a couple of days off at Christmas.
Need to book next year's summer holiday before Brittany Ferries discount period (20%) ends in a few days. Oh, and not spend any more money for 2 months!!!

Cag glad you're feeling brighter. I have a friend with quite acute depression at the moment, but saw him yesterday and could see a real improvement. Take care of yourself.

I'm sorry to hear that things are so difficult Cag. I hope they get better soon.

Meadow I found the clothes at this stage really difficult. But by age 2 I was able to buy clothes for ds that were very big but okay, and he was still wearing them comfortably at 5, so I think the growing must slow down a lot after they reach about 2 and half.

Once they get to school, it seems to be mostly shoes, as far as I can tell.

We went to our orchestra again tonight. Oddly all the saxophones were missing. We had fun though. Ds said he was tired, and I asked if he could perhaps try sleeping beyond 5am. He is considering it.

I just did an online Tesco order, to get ds an oreo tin. Am doing them each a favourite thing present. Dd1:coke in glass bottles, big box of lindor Dd2:posh hot choc &marshmallows Dd3: American peanut butter (costco jobby, a kilo I think) and a jar spoon.

It was £63, so I used all my clubcard vouchers (going curly on the fridge), and got it down to £41! Thats 2 sacks of dog food, 10 packs of ice lollies and more christmas eve party food sorted. Yay for money off. I know the oreo tin will be the only thing not in stock!

seacow that is epic. My ds will not touch any roast dinner bar brocolli. I think our boys eat about the same way! We are working on making chips larger and more like roasties, but I think pieces of meat and/or carrots are a long way off. It's a bit exhausting isn't it.

Arrrrggggghhhh! I did it. It went almost as planned but I was so nervous.... I have been asked to do another set in Sheffield next weekend. So it must have looked ok. Thanks for the support... It makes a difference.n

Hello all thank you all for the good wishes and for thinking of me 😘 party was brilliant, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the band were fantastic. I had quite a few last min cancellations which was a bit annoying but it was still a good turn out and I felt very lucky to have such lovely family and friends.

Have been completely spoilt by gifts 😮 have been given some more money, three vouchers for various spa's, some lovely jewellery, body shop stuff, some bits for the garden and lots of other lovely things. I am very lucky.

Today has been busy as had friends who stayed here and other friends popping in this morning before they headed back home.

Am very tired now, glad I have tomorrow off to sort through all the b day stuff and put the house back together again!

Fingers crossed for the Oreo longer. If you are coming to Costco I can tell you the traffic was mental yesterday around there. We got there for 11 and there was a queue off the motorway.
Never done Costco but never had to cook in bulk like you. Do you still cook for bike people?

No life! We literally rode our luck putting on Britsh Cycling road races. Never had anything bad happen and always did well...we gave that up with the shop. A few time trials earlier this year, but not on the same scale.

Might not get through to costco (it is an epic exciting shop), but only 50p more to order from amazon. Plus I always spend £200+ in there.

Suppose I had better get up, the dogs are barking.

I have another week of holiday this week. Today will be spent catching up on strictly results and Little Drummer Girl. I may go for a walk and do some yoga later. Or a pootle on my bicycle.

We completely slept in this morning as well! I woke up at 8.30 and it transpired dds alarm had gone off at 7.15 and she had turned it off and gone back to sleep!! We were both knackered in our defence 😉 I dropped her down to school as a one off (she normally walks) was only 10 mins late in the end.

It's cold here again today, frosty this morning. Plan today is to do some sorting and then buy some thank you cards, have quite a few to send!!

Stopped for fuel €65 on fuel card, put in €42 on Friday

€2 on isotonic drink for dd & OJ for ds, retrieved a can of monster ultra zero from my boot for myself. I think I'm going to put a little box in there with drinks & baby wipes etc as I was majorly unprepared when dd was ill in car yesterday

Yesterday €2.40 on 7up and €1 church collection

Sending a dress back to asos today. It was bought for Christmas party but it’s not as nice as in the picture. I didn’t even try it on.

So that’ll be £48 back to me.

Must also buy wrapping paper today so I can wrap the parcels for nz so I can post tomorrow.

Nice to see you Cag sorry to hear things have been difficult but glad to hear things have gotten a bit easier three puking children sounds horrific!! I was going to ask you if you have the game Exploding Kittens? Am thinking about getting it for dd for Christmas, or if you have any other recommendations for good board games (that work well with two players?)

Have had a look through the Christmas bits I got for dd and it didn't look as much as I thought I had got her so have been adding bits to the Amazon basket, won't check out yet though.

Payday is tomorrow thank God, feels like this has been a long month.

There must have been some sleep dust around this morning. I didn't sleep so well last night & just felt exhausted this morning. Luckily it's my day off (not a study day) so I went back to sleep & felt much better when I woke up again. Went to a killer circuits class so worked off some of the cake, pastry and pizza I ate over the weekend!
Just booked summer holiday 2019
Ferry to Spain again, 3 nights at a hotel in the mountains, then 8 nights at the same apartments as this year. Ds only wants to have one weekend away this year because of cricket, so he is missing the mountains and flying out to meet us for the beach week & ferry home. Feel properly excited now it's booked. £2490 for ferry and accommodation (breakfast included at the hotel) £60 for ds' flight. I reckon that's a good deal.
Sending the bigger pair of school shoes back today for refund. Free returns.
Also sending a bottle of perfume back that dd got for her birthday as bottle is faulty.

Is it ok if I join in please? I have fallen off the wagon with regards to my spending and really need to get it under control.

I am trying to shop sensibly for Christmas - I have found about 8 part rolls of wrapping paper under the stairs! In my old life I would be buying more paper and using these rolls for 'emergencies' but I have decided to just use them up and not buy any more until they are gone.

I popped to town, got some more of my nice cream in Boots which was on 3 for 2, was £32 for 3 items.

£5 in The Works on cards and a calendar, their calendars are really good value £3 and you get a diary with that as well!!

£14 Primark on a new jumper for Dd which is a Christmas present and a scarf for me.

£1.50 on an advent calendar for Dd although am wishing I'd not bothered now as she just rolled her eyes at it.

Am possibly going to sign up for a new gym membership today. It’s more expensive than my old gym. But it is a 5 minute walk from work which means I could go at lunchtime. So buys me time in the evenings.
