Great news love well done.

Im struggling with the heat, work was a mission and I felt a bit ill at one patients house as was so hot.

Need to pop to aldi which I really don't want to do but needs must.

I think my email is sending out spam, I've changed my password is there anything else I should do?

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/07/2018 18:22

Yeah love, well done. Pleased you still keep some work life balance.

Fingers crossed mammy.

£4.80 on raspberry and cottage cheese

SunnyLikeThursday · 09/07/2018 18:26

Changing your password should be enough Girlie. Usually you can google on "my gmail has been hacked" or whatever brand of email you have, and there will be a webpage telling you what to do. It's usually just to change your password though.

Sorry to hear you struggled with the heat. It must be tough to work in it.

Best beach day.

Ds was on top form. Went straight to ddad and he plopped him in the sea and splashed around with him. I went in to my waist as just didn’t want to go any further. He had two swims.

On the second swim we saw dolphins in the bay. Around 10-12 I reckon. Flipping out of the water.

It is a fairly common sight here especially in summer. But still magical.

Love congratulations that’s fantastic news.
Mammy thinking of you I hope Huskydog pulls around
Cag how annoying I agree with complaining especially given how late they informed you of the cancellation they must have known before today there was no stock/driver
Em sounds like a lovely day

£28 pax a Mac in the John Lewis sale for hols, including postage. I think I just need new sandals and bras now

Sw visit this aft, ds hideous afterwards, not her fault in the slightest I think he’s still overtired from the weekend.

Did some more rose and lilac pruning with my new garden shears. They aren’t brilliant but they work and not bad for 4.50.

As well as this mornings kestrel I’ve had a squirrel keeping me company for most of the day it’s been sat in the garden whilst I’ve been working on the sofa. It’s only run away when the neighbor’s cats gone for it. It needs to be careful as the sodding car had one of the juvenile blackbirds last week and then threw up the remains in one of my planters

Em photo yesterday was fab, yummy mummy and super happy baby boy Grin

Vet that I met this evening wasn't one looking after ddog so I didn't get any more information.

€2 for trip tomorrow at camp and €8 for Wednesdays trip, dd got burnt as she didn't know there was sunscreen in her bag and it wasn't applied before she left this morning she knows what to do for tomorrow.

Determined we'll all be in bed by 8.30pm tonight I'm tired & they're irritable Grin

Bought a few creams last night as I'm trying to repair a broken skin barrier on my face. Went for the cheaper option though and changed brand.

Superdrug serum £11.49 for 4 bottles with an offer
Eucerin cream £7.08
Sent £1000 to DM for removal people, appliances, electrician and bits she needs to buy for the houses (out of removal budget)
About to go to Morrison's but going to write a list of essentials...

Nofilter · 09/07/2018 20:31

Forgot to add I sold two old radiators £199 and a cardigan of DDs on Ebay £12.99...

SnugglySnerd · 09/07/2018 20:33

Congratulations Love! Great news.

I hope husky dog will be ok Mammy.

It's been a long day with hot, tired and grumpy kids both at work and at home!

SunnyLikeThursday · 09/07/2018 20:47

I sold a lamp on ebay. Only £7 but it's a start, and frees up space.

Loveabaconsandwich · 09/07/2018 21:48

Thank you for all the congratulations! DP keeps saying how proud he is of me as normally I find any excuse not to even apply for jobs. I really hope this is the right job for me.

We celebrated with a nice bit of 50% off steak I had in the fridge on the BBQ. I was tempted to go out but saving it up for the weekend.

That's brilliant Love. You really deserve that steak. Smile

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 09/07/2018 22:12

Spent £40 in aldi, was really not in the mood for shopping so there was a fair amount of mindless chucking crap in the trolley!

QuiteCleanBandit · 10/07/2018 06:17

Well done Love
Feels a bit cooler here .
Should be a NSD

CurlsandCurves · 10/07/2018 07:59

Hi, definitely cooler again today, actually slept comfortably last night for a change.

Well done on getting the job @Love, hope you enjoy it.

Managed to get my weekly shop done yesterday. But spent a bit more than I wanted to because for some reason the shelves were bare! I never normally shop on a Monday, is this why possibly? Still within budget, but I was hoping to beat last week and save a bit more. DS2 is away on a school trip next week so wanted to save towards his spending money. Saved £20 from last weeks budget.

Should be a low spend day here. £2 on bacon roll and coffee in a bit. I help at my fat club meeting and this is our little traditional treat after weigh in!

ChristmasSeacow · 10/07/2018 08:30

It’s cooler here too, thank goodness. I’m really struggling with energy levels at the moment - probably the heat but I am absolutely exhausted. I can’t get anything done in the evenings, I’m a total zombie. I owe a couple of you PMs, sorry! I’m having a quieter day today so will hopefully catch up.

I was planning a trip to Westfield for pre-holiday panic buying but dd was up at 4.30am Hmm so I can’t face it. I am terrible for spending money before holidays - I just panic about whether I have everything I need. I always buy clothes/equipment and books /toys for the kids for entertainment. I think most of it isn’t necessary but I’m really fighting the urge at the moment! I will get a few bits but must be careful. I just did s huge Tu order but most is going back - I find trousers hard to buy so ordered multiple sizes. I am delighted with the ones I’m keeping though - 3 pairs of patterned cotton floaty trousers. No more jeans in 30C heat for me! I am very Envy of those of you who can wear shorts. My legs are horrible.

Still need to get a Roofbox and bars. I had a light bulb moment and thought we could just hire them but because we’ll be gone 4+ weeks it looks as though that will work out pretty expensive and be a waste of money. So buying it is.

Dd has started biting me. DS thinks it’s funny and this morning he copied her! Not hard - he was just doing it for effect - but still Angry. How to stop a 12-month old biting? She does it when she’s tired and over-excited.

SnugglySnerd · 10/07/2018 08:44

The dts bite too. I think they just want to see what happens. I just move them off me and stand up so they can't do it with a firm "no biting". Hair pulling is more complicated as they pull each others' constantly.

ememem84 · 10/07/2018 08:55

sea just put the shorts on. #justbloodywearit

Back to work today. Boooo.

SunnyLikeThursday · 10/07/2018 09:03

Or maybe one of those long floaty skirts? I often wear skirts in hot weather and they're even cooler than shorts.

It's cooler here today too, which is good.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 10/07/2018 09:37

seacow I also hate my legs I bought some crop trousers that go just beyond my knee and I can cope with them.

ChristmasSeacow · 10/07/2018 12:44

Yes I can cope with those Mammy. I don’t mind my calves, they’re not bad.

You are right Em, it shouldn’t matter, but really not good.

I’m waiting for the RAF flypast to go over my house. Shame it’s so cloudy today
