NSD.

Making sheesh kebabs tonight from my takeaway secret book.

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/04/2018 17:38

LSD went to local forest. Parked at the edge so didn't pay for parking. £7 on more drinks on to of what we took.
Met some of DC friends by accident and swapped children for a bit. I have all the girls and they have all the boys to play.

WreckTangled · 21/04/2018 17:45

Nsd. I just had a nobbly bobbly. They're the best.

SunnyLikeThursday · 21/04/2018 17:49

I see what you mean love. We're very lucky here. All the neighbours are very much of the same mind and we're all happy to supervise each others' children in whatever number we find at any given time in our garden. I think the fact that three consecutive houses have only 1 child each is probably a large factor in that. Sometimes I have 8 or more in the garden at once though, and occasionally I go out and find children there who don't even live in our street.

wreck oh nobbly bobbly are on my top 5 ice cream list! (Also features are fabs, peanut butter magnum, orange calippo and mr whipped with a flake). Mmm

I’m tempted to go and get ice cream for after dinner. Dh is raving on about budget budget budget. And I’m all Ben and Jerry’s...

I’m car booting tomorrow. Excited! On the hunt for clothes for ds, more wanky Kilner jars and vintage Pyrex.

My week is planned as such:

Monday - get christening invites posted. See Dm (she gets back from her trip tomorrow), baby group in the morning.

Tuesday - ds in nursery and I’m going clothes shopping and food shopping
Weds - ds in nursery - charity shop trip then nails in the afternoon
Thursday - ds in nursery but stay in all day and wait for fire inspection (finally!)
Friday - penultimate full day just me and ds before I go back to work!!!! Waaaaa

Taytocrisps · 21/04/2018 18:31

Gorgeous day here. There'll be a lot of barbecues this evening. I got lots of washing done and DH finally cut the grass. I've hardly seen DD all day - she's been out playing with the kids around the corner. It's due to rain tomorrow.

Laska5772 · 21/04/2018 18:34

Changable weather day here , but mostly nice. Lots of gardening, clearing up, greenhouse sorting and stuff. I re-potted all my over-wintered geraniums (looks like at least a dozen survived , so frugal win ) and they are now out on the patio.. We are past frost I hope !

Harissa and rosemary roast chicken for dinner . Bung it in and leave while we are doing other stuff with salad and Ciabatta .. it smells divine .

I must go wash the garden dirt off..

Laska5772 · 21/04/2018 18:35

Wine and Craig Charles Funk and Soul.. Perfect .. Grin

Cagliostro · 21/04/2018 18:41

Nobbly bobblies are the bestest!

I need to try a toblerone lolly I saw at the newsagent. Yum.

Current fave is magnum double raspberry!

ememem84 · 21/04/2018 18:45

Oooh cag those are lush!!!

I’m also a fan of mint magnum. And twisters. Mmmm

Laska5772 · 21/04/2018 18:55

Just went up for a shower and out of bedroom window saw black cloud and distant thunder to the south.. Just saw what must have been a huge lightening fork a s it was so far off . There's noting much south of us , a couple of fields and a cliff .So Northern France is getting it .

Are you Em ?

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 21/04/2018 18:56

Mm mm nobbly bobblies 😋

It's turned out lovely here possible thunder storms tonight though.

Nsd.

Laska5772 · 21/04/2018 18:57

oh and sea of course ! Grin.. though we cant see it from our house ... (we can often hear it though)

Laska5772 · 21/04/2018 18:58

I have never had a nobbly bobbly.. This will be rectified....

QuiteCleanBandit · 21/04/2018 19:01

Ive never heard of them !
Off to google

Laska5772 · 21/04/2018 19:10

We getting it now, its suddenly gone dark, wind up. all our cherry blossom is coming off. Ive just rushed out and rescued a couple of prized Greek purple and white geraniums that were in flower

SunnyLikeThursday · 21/04/2018 19:18

The weather forecast says we're getting it too. I would really like that as I have some indoor plants that need to be given rainwater and I have run out. I have put a box under the greenhouse downpipe hoping for a deluge.

Loveabaconsandwich · 21/04/2018 19:20

I think I just heard a rumble of thunder laska, i’m near the Dorset coast

Wolfcub · 21/04/2018 19:21

Urgh massive ant infestation in the kitchen, little bastards were just pouring in through a crack in the back door and I have no ground cinnamon. Had to leave them to invade whilst I went to close up my parents house for the evening and then they were introduced to Mr Kettle, Mr Dyson and Mr Bait

Wolfcub · 21/04/2018 19:26

Laska & Quite you haven’t lived until you’ve had a nobbly bobbly

Loveabaconsandwich · 21/04/2018 19:26

We’ve had the little 🐜 in today too wolf. Ant spray and sent the robotic vacuum round tonight. It is near where we eat so a constant summer battle.

Loveabaconsandwich · 21/04/2018 19:27

Big rumble of thunder!

WreckTangled · 21/04/2018 19:39

Never heard of a nobbly bobbly?! Shock they're amazing and on offer at Tesco.

I'm hoping for a good thunder storm but not sure we will get much.

Cagliostro · 21/04/2018 19:51

I had a twister the other day but it was a bit disappointing. Same with fabs.

There were literally no ice creams - not even multipacks in the main freezer - at our nearest coop yesterday. Bad planning 😱😂

I found some similar-as-possible trainers £45. Same brand (karrimor run) different colour

scattyspice · 21/04/2018 19:52

Have been working today 😩.

I loved it when mine started playing out although we did loose DS for ages once as he had gone to a friend's house and we didn't know who 😮.
