Happy birthday Girlie and happy anniversary Wreck.

Never got around to meal planning last night. My brain just wouldn't work although I scored 10 on Uni Challenge! Will try again today although I don't feel any less tired having been up since 4am.

Cagliostro · 21/11/2017 11:14

Happy birthday girlie and happy anniversary wreck Cake

£133 Tesco shopping Shock that's about double our average, stocked up on heaps of stuff like frozen fish. Fridge is packed to bursting.

Staying in today now so NSD otherwise I think.

Have a lovely happy birthday girlie

Happy Anniversary wreck got anything planned?

Had a double appointment for dd2 and 3 to be assessed for orthadontics. Dd2 on nhs waitlist, dd3 is missing an adult tooth Sad it's a family thing, but missed my two big girls. Now we know we'll wait and see, and treatment once all the rest are through. She did enjoy the x-ray!

Did a naughty spend in Sainsbury's as it's by the hospital, £27 on lunch and bits. Hopeless. Lovely shop, but soooo expensive. £1 parking.

Sold my first bit of bike stuff (wool selling well too), so have the motivation to keep listing it. But it is boring!

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/11/2017 12:38

Happy birthday and happy anniversary

Cagliostro · 21/11/2017 12:53

£17, having pizza at home as we can't go out for it because I'm an anxious mess 😳

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/11/2017 15:07

Tell him his present is you staying married to him for another year Grin

Cagsbestfriend That's excellent news. Are you on pre pay meters?.

£18.50 work supplies.

New car coming tonight. No change in car insurance luckily. Dh has got me a special box to keep the locking wheel bolt adapter in. You lose one adapter in 19 years......

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 21/11/2017 15:31

Thanks guys, had a nice day so far been into town and spent some bday money. Bought new clothes that were needed, 3 new long sleeved tops and a jumper in Next £53. Also £7 on some new mascara and £15 in Poundland on bits. Picked up a pretty bracelet which will be a gift for a friends 40th £8, was half price.

Friends treated me to a bacon sandwich and cup of tea Grin

ememem84 · 21/11/2017 15:48

Happy birthday girlie.

Nsd here. Cars gone for service.

Baby Ds has had his first vaccinations. We are not happy. He’s very clingy. Has cried a lot. And only wants to be held. Currently cuddled up on me on the couch. We’re watching tv. Poor baby.

LonelyOversharer · 21/11/2017 16:04

Poor little ds em cuddles is the way to go. It seems so brutal doesn't it, but the alternative is worse. Keep an eye on his temp, you can give calpol I think if needed.

Got a box from amazon, all pressies, feeling more sorted now. Will pop into town for a primark grab next week.

ememem84 · 21/11/2017 16:17

He’s had calpol immediately after the he jabs and some more just now.

Poor Mummy. I think I’m more distraught about it than he is. He’s in his bed now. I’m hoping he’ll have a nap

Taytocrisps · 21/11/2017 16:54

Another NSD. Oh, wait, I've to pay €3 subs for Scouts. Plus €4 for Scouts raffle tickets. Ok LSD then.

Poor Baby em Sad.

Having a cuppa and then I'm going to tackle a big drawer that's full of clutter.

WreckTangled · 21/11/2017 17:06

Oh em it’s horrible isn’t it!

Can I just have a little blast? Just had dds parents eve and she’s exceeding in everything. She’s off their scale on reading she cannot improve at all. She’s already in a group with the year above for guided reading and English but they’re going to start giving her additional spellings too. She’s doing so well Grin

Got £30 from my parents and grandparents for our anniversary Smile

LonelyOversharer · 21/11/2017 17:11

Yay wreck your dd clearly loves literacy. Reading (I mean enjoying free reading) is such a fab life skill Star

Right, 12 pairs of gloves listed on ebay, eleventy billion to go, time to make tea. Omelettes and chips tonight. Cba tea, but better than Macdonalds.

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/11/2017 17:48

em You'll take longer to recover than him. You need a treat for taking him & being brave Wink

wreck That's brilliant I'd be thrilled too.

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/11/2017 18:20

well done wreck dd - proud mam moment indeed and should be shared

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/11/2017 18:22

Taytocrisps · 21/11/2017 18:25

Guess what I found in my drawer full of clutter Blush

Cagliostro · 21/11/2017 18:48

Oh the irony tayto! :o Better get reading (and then donate the book to a charity shop obviously so it doesn't take up space) :o I usually read clutter/minimalism books as soon as I get them... implementing their advice is another matter.

Hope DS is feeling better by now em I agree it's harder for us parents, the baby will forget much sooner :)

So much food in the house and I still can't decide what to do for dinner!

I've had my scan date through already! GP did well there. It's on Friday and I have to fast for 6 hours beforehand. They said it's an abdominal scan so should cover the whole area I guess.

Wreck boast away my dear what an awesome DD! Such a love of literacy will take her far Star
