Meadow how rude!! Is your father often like this?

LillyLollyLandy · 18/11/2017 19:03

Checking in quickly as for the first time in several days I am not at work nor do I have small children draped over me.

Will catch up properly later but Meadow you come first. If they are annoying you, tell them to get lost. So sorry you are still going through this awful HG, hopefully 12 weeks will be a turning point for you. Sending hugs xx

LillyLollyLandy · 18/11/2017 19:04

Oops too quick there.

Am on a train, with a can of G&T and a bag of chips (so glam, me), on my way to meet an old friend and see Christian Slater at theatre. Beyond excited! He was my school girl crush!

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/11/2017 19:06

There's no right time. If you're young you've no money & when your old there's no energy & the money is no consolation.

I have allergies & people tell me that's in my mind.

You're a grown up, what you think is as valid as your dads opinion.

Loveabaconsandwich · 18/11/2017 19:50

Would DH be willing to tell them not to come tomorrow on your behalf meadow? Seriously people can be so insensitive, especially the ones who think that being family means they can say what they want Flowers Can we send fluffy round to slap them?

AdoraBell · 18/11/2017 19:59

Far too much money spent this week Hmm

Will try to catch up, headache atm though.

ememem84 · 18/11/2017 21:08

lilly Christian slater - can’t remember the name of the show he’s in but I saw him on the one show promoting it a while ago.

meadow just ignore. I. G. N. O. R. E. And just carry on growing baby. There is no right time for babies. If you had waited would the time really be right then?

Ask dh to tell them you’re not available tomorrow. Or failing that, throw up on them.

I’m sorry you’re still feeling rubbish. I never had sickness as bad as you but it will pass. Take things easy. Do what you have to do. I just felt nauseous all the time (and that was bad enough for me) but it will get better. And at the end of it a beautifully time consuming all encompassing squidgy babyface and you’ll be tired and sore and tired and never drink a hot drink again and you’ll never be able to go anywhere alone... I’m not selling it am I?

But baby snuggles

mammymammyIRL · 19/11/2017 05:45

Meadow ask them do they wish to part of their future grandchilds life because they're not going the right way about it

mammymammyIRL · 19/11/2017 05:58

No lonely not planning massive amount of shopping but it's the one for Christmas markets yep Grin
Well done on mixing concrete yourself - I work in that trade - hi to anyone if I've just outed myself Smile & wouldn't fancy mixing by hand. The calculator here is very accurate

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/11/2017 06:12

Work this morning 7-1. Think of the money, think of the money...

Sorry your family are giving you such a hard time. I agree ignore.

mammymammyIRL · 19/11/2017 06:25

Lifelong that was me yesterday only 7-11 thinking of the time in lieu

WreckTangled · 19/11/2017 06:57

Have fun mammy!!

Lite hope the day doesn’t drag too much.

Not much planned today for us which is nice. Some washing, pop in to see my parents, bit of tidying.

LonelyOversharer · 19/11/2017 08:32

mammy we have a cement mixer! Ebay is brilliant. It only needed a spark plug or something, then it wasn't spares and repairs anymore! Dp mixes it by eye, he's very good. He might be a pita most if the time but he certainly has his uses! Have a fab time!

I've such a sore throat. I'm not often poorly.

Apparently we're having one coffee and getting on with the screed Hmm ok.

MOrning y’all hope everyone is ok.

Should be nsd today. We have df Fil and stepmil over for Sunday lunch (well late lunch - Fil is golfing until 330). Roast pork is happening then leftovers tomorrow. Looking at save with jamie for leftover pork ideas. Mmm.

ChristmasSeacow · 19/11/2017 11:50

Morning! Just waiting for my parents to arrive - they are coming for Sunday lunch. We're having curry -DDad's choice as he can't eat a lot of stuff (no stomach) and finds very saucy food easiest. And he does love a curry Grin. Feels a bit odd though.

Back later!

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/11/2017 13:31

I had way too much to drink last night & feel awful.

Green Mark vodka is really nice though. Obviously I'm never drinking again but if you're looking for a reasonable vodka try that one.

One day I'll learn. Yesterday was not that day.

Thishatisnotmine · 19/11/2017 13:32

Hi all, can I join please?
Without writing an essay, I am on my second maternity leave with a nearly 3y old and 7 month old. Am in the final three months statutory pay, dh and I moved in February so have higher rent, spent a lot of money on the move and just haven’t been able to get finances back to a good place. He unfortunately has been suffering from stress and depression and his last months pay was down due to sick leve which is not what we needed! We are both in our overdrafts, I have about £7 in my purse to last until Saturday. Fortunately have lots of things I can cook for meals, might need to buy bread, milk and some more butter but that’s it.

Dh is leaving work soon and although isn’t getting redundancy, is getting a large pay off. This will be great but obviously only if he gets anew job soon. So we still need to be careful. From January we will have more childcare fees and I won’t get my full pay until the end of the month. I will be back in work mid Jan (and really, really need some new work clothes).

I used to be great at careful shopping, meal planning etc years ago when we had no money but things improved and I got out of the habit. I make pointless purchases in the supermarket and it all adds up. I just need encouragement to stay on track! Smile

Cagliostro · 19/11/2017 14:17

Welcome hat you're in the right place here! Sorry about all the stressful stuff going on. Thanks

Cagliostro · 19/11/2017 14:19

New thread!

mammymammyIRL · 19/11/2017 14:32

Lonely we also have a cement mixer but it's so much easier for me to send out a truck with it premixed!

Welcome thishat sounds like you've a very sensible attitude & that all will be well for ye
