laska make sure you let the mix cool a bit before you stir in choc chips, as they'll melt very quickly, and then you will have choc flapjacks! seacow oats is oats as far as I'm concerened, they might have a denser texture, and you might need to add a bit extra so it's not too sticky. I've used oats so simple sachets before, they're very sweet!

£30 tescos, got sea sickness bands for dd2, so far so good. Plus ready meals for lunch! I never buy them. Quite tasty chow mein mind. Toys are on all 3 for 2 just now. Just got 3 roblox boxes for ds, very useful as prizes bribes

girlie I got dd2 (11) wordsearch and thinkwords last year, both hits, and you can play with 2. They seem to have pulled Boggle, but that was always my favourite.

£10.50 train
£2 CIN
£2.20 bus

And I got my new car!

SunnyLikeThursday · 17/11/2017 13:23

Hello! Sorry, I haven't had a minute to post for a while. I'm not getting time to read the thread at the moment and I don't like to chip in without having read what everyone else has said.

I'm writing this grant proposal thing, which I'm having to read about 78 billion times to get it all right. I'm helping with house conveyancing, and I'm running two Beaver evenings in a row all by myself, and doing all the other usual stuff, so it's all just a bit busy at the moment.

I hope you are all getting on well. I really hope to be back in a little bit. Smile

Laska5772 · 17/11/2017 13:52

lonely good tip (but then choc flapjacks dont sound that bad..) Grin

.

ChristmasSeacow · 17/11/2017 14:38

Fab, I'm going to make them tomorrow (was going to be today but then I thought if I do it tomorrow DS can 'help' me). Sadly I can only have a tiny nibble myself.

How did yours work out Em?

ChristmasSeacow · 17/11/2017 14:40

What car is it Wreck? (I don't know much about cars so will just nod and smile Grin)

Hi Sunny

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 17/11/2017 16:07

Just spent £50 on Amazon, more gifts for dd and a few bits for me as well, almost all of them were on a lightening deal so lots of money off.
Think have also found lego set which I will get for dds bday which is 6 weeks after Christmas, its currently on offer but still £60!! Will have to wait and see if its still on offer come payday Hmm

A new Aldi has just opened up 5 mins down the road, need to go and investigate that soon!!

Am wondering about making candles in tea cups, anyone tried this? Had a quick look online and it looks fairly straight forward.... would make lovely gifts.

Also got petrol today £22.

I popped into dds school today and asked about this school trip to see two musicals, apparently it is over subscribed so on Tues they will hold a ballot and pick names out of a hat. So no guarantees dd will go anyway....

WreckTangled · 17/11/2017 16:14

Qashqai seacow Grin it’s so shiny.

MeadowHay · 17/11/2017 16:37

Well I am feeling really grim. Vomited loads last night and then just had a massive crying meltdown so we didn't get to sleep until about 2am Sad. So fed up of this now.

Spoke to pharmacist because I need more of one of the anti-sickness meds, he told me to come off the other one as doubts they are doing anything for me so I agreed to do that, but he was very anti-meds and was like ~you should challenge yourself now and then not to take anything for a day and see how you are~ I was like er mate I'm still vomiting a few times a day even on all this stuff so that's not going to happen any time soon. Prescribed me 2 weeks worth which is not much, it's such a pain because it's a special medication they keep only giving me 1-2 weeks at a time, then the pharmacy don't stock it so DH has to do the 45 min trek to the late-night pharmacy and they only ever have a few tablets in so then he has put in an order for the rest, go back in a few days to collect the rest, then like a week later I have to make another telephone appt with GP or pharmacist to order more and repeat. It's such a pain! Angry

Did a benefits checker and whilst I'm on SSP we should be getting a lot more in HB and some CTR as well so when I get my next payslip need to send that off. I'm just hoping they won't say 'no, you need to claim UC now' because we are in a UC area and whilst we'd be about £10 a week better off under UC, it's not worth the hassle and stress because DH would then have to sign on every single day for the next couple of months and go to loads of pointless 'job club' meetings and things which are stressful and atm I want him at home to take care of me anyway as I'm so sick and lonely too. So it's not worth the extra tenner a week.

Decided on a farmyard Duplo set for the 2 year old as don't think she has any Duplo yet and she loves animals/farms. Hopefully she will like it and it was only like £12 from Argos. I can't believe how overpriced a lot of plastic kids' toys are Shock.

Sunny Hope grant proposal is going well!

Laska Wine for you, you're doing what you can in trying to stay out of it really I guess.

Flapjacks sound yummy.

needastrongone · 17/11/2017 16:43

I don't think you will have outed yourself Laska, and it does seem like a tricky situation. You are right to stay out of things if you possibly can. Poor you. Doesn't stop it being stressful though.

Good luck with the nighttime routine Seacow.

Exciting about the new car Wrecked.

Blimey, things seem busy over there Sunny. Hope you manage to get everything done.

I've screenshotted the screenshot! Once my brownies are eaten, Lonely's flapjack will be next. Any chance that you could sell your stuff on line at all? Earn a bit of extra cash?

Another £38 on feed for the pony/chickens etc.

Been a tough week in terms of training, I've had some very tough sessions to get through this week and a killer track session today. I'm a bit goosed. Making a fruity chicken curry tonight, save on a takeout.

SnugglySnerd · 17/11/2017 16:48

Flowers for Meadow you poor thing. The sickness sounds awful. Our gp will send prescriptions straight to the pharmacy. Could yours do that? At least then they'd be able to order it in before your dh goes to collect them and it might save a couple of trips.

NSD. Yay! Haven't done much except try to get babies to nap and wash up. Looking forward to dinner, couple of drinks and catching up on TV tonight.

needastrongone · 17/11/2017 16:53

Meadow I'd be going back to the GP at this stage, I really would and explaining how bad you still feel. You poor thing.

WreckTangled · 17/11/2017 17:03

Agree, meadow, most prescriptions are electronic now and can go to any pharmacy of your choice. I would ask them to send it via eps (electronic prescription service) to x pharmacy then call x pharmacy to tell them it’s coming and please can they order the meds in ready

ememem84 · 17/11/2017 17:18

SPendy day. Oops.

£32 in country pub for lunch with df and ds. Crab on toast and chips and a small wine for me and fish pie and a wine for df. Ds has milky and sat next to his grandads fishy pie.

£14 in joules - mouse slippers for ds and £40 (oops) in mothercare - jeans a jumper and some joggers (had to buy the joggers as part of a set but only really wanted the jumper) and a few tops for ds.

Oh and £1.20 in Tesco on tonic water. Hooray. Now waiting for dh to finish work.

ememem84 · 17/11/2017 17:23

Just catching up now.

Flapjacks were ok. I suspect if I’d had the right ingredients they’d be amazing. So much make sure I get the right stuff.

I used oats (duh) a teeny bit of butter, about a whole bottle of syrup, a couple of table spoons of peanut butter, some PB2 (wierd powdered peanut butter stuff dh bought). Usually I’d add salt and brown sugar. But didn’t as had no sugar. Then threw chocolate (70% Lindt stuff) on top and baked under some foil.

Next time...next time they will be sugary and will have milk chocolate. Or reeses pieces.

LonelyOversharer · 17/11/2017 18:09

I put the choc chips on top after they were cooked, just for a melted choc topping, I'm never sure about just cooking chocolate in case it burns.

I have just llisted 20 lots of yarn on ebay. 6 more to go tonight, but I'm bored and the kids are hungry! So much wool to sell. I'm such a hoarder. I can sell (I have decided) yarns I either just don't like, will never use, ever, or I can sell all but one ball of something I have a lot of. There's quite a bit of noro (£££ Japanese yarn) there too, that I have never liked!

Crikey, it's gone 6, no wonder the kids are hungry Blush

Oh meadow I truly hope this passes soon for you. Your dating scan will make it all worthwhile! especially when they say its triplets

wreck oh I like qashqai's. Is it really nice to drive? Such a nice size for a crossover.

OP posts:
MeadowHay · 17/11/2017 18:41

Need I don't think there is anything more they can do, I've already tried all the types of medications available I think except for one but because of my weight I'm not really supposed to take that medication and the pharmacists are not happy for me to be on it. I think everyone's target is just to keep me out of hospital and at home rather than actually fix it now iyswim Sad. I am making some slow improvements at least on the dietary front, there are a few more things I'm able to stomach now food-wise and I am keeping most of my food and drink now, but some days are worse than others and I'm not able to eat proper meals of any sort yet, or really move about to do things as I usually vomit when I move e.g. going to the bathroom or walking down the stairs of our apartment block both usually make me vomit a bit.

Lonely Haha, I bloody hope not!! HG is more common in multiple births but there are none on either side of our family (well, apart from some pretty distant cousins on my side) so I think it's unlikely. I am hoping I will cheer up at the scan too but it's still quite a few weeks away Sad.

Thanks re: the prescription, I thought they could only send it to your nominated one and I didn't want to change it as that's the one in the same building as GP so handy for everything else. But then it turns out the pharmacy I spoke to today actually sent my prescription the late-night pharmacy without telling me. So poor DH trekked over to my usual pharmacy only to be told prescription wasn't even there and then had to go the other one. Sigh. Pharmacist said he was giving me two weeks worth of tablets but only prescribed me 20 which is only 10 days worth arghhh Angry. It's so annoying having to repeat this kerfuffle almost every week to make sure I don't run out. But I will make sure to get it ordered to the correct pharmacy next time at least!

WreckTangled · 17/11/2017 18:53

Meadow yes you have a nominated pharmacy but it takes two seconds for them to change it.

Lonely it’s really nice to drive and not too big. The handbrake button is confusing though!

ememem84 · 17/11/2017 19:24

meadow how far along are you now? Exciting times! Hang in there it’ll all be worth it xx

Dh leftnwork in time Shock we’re home now he’s made pizza. Ds has been fed and changed. Was happy lying on dh and then he passed himmover to me.

Ds did 2 days worth of poo. All at once meadow hamburgers you’ve got all this to look forward to! He then peed on me. I always forget to cover him up...

ChristmasSeacow · 17/11/2017 19:30

Gosh Wreck, so many Qs, yet so few Us...

Cagliostro · 17/11/2017 19:32

Haven't caught up yet but just wanted to say before I forget that @MeadowHay if you would like I can send you a TENS machine at some point? (I know ham is due first but the machines can't be used with epidural etc so presumably aren't suitable for ELCS) I found it super useful for pain relief with DC2/3 and I know seacow did too as it is her old one :o. It will need new pads but they seem easily available.

Cagliostro · 17/11/2017 19:34

Also can I be smuggy smuggerson, I did my first trip out the house with all 3 Caglets this evening, to ballet and then via the shop. Nobody died or got lost so I'm calling it a success! Phew.

ChristmasSeacow · 17/11/2017 19:37

Meadow your situation sounds unbelieveably draining Flowers. I can only hope you turn a corner soon, and thankfully your DH sounds like a bit of a Star.

Lovely day with DD, she bounces back well after a wakeful night and although I don't, her charm has helped me through! Nap discipline started today, hopefully I will see an improvement in the night waking within a few days.

My brain is still scrambled, sorry I can't remember much of what's going on!

ChristmasSeacow · 17/11/2017 19:38

Way to go Cag - that's a milestone ticked off!

Yep, tens machines rock Grin
