seacow well done!!!

need you'd spend £50 on just sunscreen though...!!

I lied. Today will be a lsd. Have to buy lunch. Dh used the last of the bread for toast. Knew I should have made sandwiches last night.

He's made me a fruit salad though as a snack. Yay! Strawberries and grapes and cherries.

Going to have an epic catch up today - seacow I would love to be able to estimate a finishing time of a project like you did - 4am you said and finished up 20 mins ahead of schedule, I'd always underestimate things like that! How you've the energy at this stage of pregnancy though is beyond me - are you using nesting energy and channeling it?Grin

Spends yesterday - €12 on 22kg of washing at those outdoor laundries @ Tesco while dd and her friends were at rehearsals, very impressed clothes are practically dry after from the industrial strength spinning they got! There was a dryer there too but it was in use and I didn't have time anyhow so brought them home and put the fiddly bits into dryer and they're ready for sorting this morning, everything else went on clothes line. Spent €32.49 in tesco while washing was doing - 60 clothespegs, a silicon whisk(have been watching for one of these for ages because of my newish tefal saucepans), a stirfry meal deal which includes chicken, noodles, veg and a sauce for €6(far cheaper than a takeaway I think) and a topup shop of veg as my fridge has been freezing the veg lately. Then €10 for a birthday card and €24 for icecream in a fabulous icecream shop for myself, dd and two of her friends, one of which whose birthday we missed at weekend and she's dh's godchild so this was her birthday treat - had we got to McDonald's it would've been about €10 but not as memorable.

Today is payday(weekly for me) so I need to ynab and budget for week ahead. I expect it to be spendy - doing half on Sat & need to pay babysitter & for drinks that night, dd's show on Sunday €25 for our tickets & €10 for the dvd(trying to avoid this, need to see how much dd has her heart set on it), pay for dd's school tour, think €6, insurance for camogie €10, fuel card dd coming out on Monday also - this has a fill for au pair, me and dh on it, biggest bill yet I think-obviously I'm only covering my own from my personal a/c.

Need to chase up a cheque that I lodged by post too, to check if it was lodged to dh's acc as it's not in joint acc.

Cagliostro · 15/06/2017 08:33

I am indeed in West Sussex cookie :)

Yay seacow well done!

Really need to get up, we are on a trip today. Actual venue was free (donation appreciated so must take cash!) so just train to pay for, plus food - I'll take what food I can fit in my bag though. Meeting friends at the station which always makes the train ride more fun.

mammymammyIRL · 15/06/2017 08:47

I took my time sorting laundry this morning only to discover dh hadn't made dc lunches at all last night, I wasn't home until 11pm with dd so I was really unimpressed with this this morning, as a result I just tossed anything I could find really into my own lunchbag. Have been following Joe Wicks most of the week, today I've had a choc chip brioche so far. I've granola, yogurt, fruit, cheese and ham sandwich, 2 eggs, an avocado, 2 slices of bread for toast under scrambled egg and a bag of crisps.

Very carby but I'm also thinking of half marathon on Sat. I probably won't eat all this food by the way - just came with a lot of choiceGrin

mammymammyIRL · 15/06/2017 08:49

saving €2 today, ladybirds isn't on due to a tragic funeral in our parish.

Don't want to out myself to any lurkers but this family Sad are very dysfunctional and I, being cynical, think that this is not the last tragic funeral they will have.

northender · 15/06/2017 11:02

Great hair laska
Well done Seacow
Lunch at the beach sounds fab Em EnvyGrin
I had a lovely night out with friends last night. We had tapas & wine, £10 each...bargain!
I made sure I didn't have too much wine as I knew I had PT session first thing this morning. Anyway I survived it and am now set for the day.
I've got a big to do list including booking the St Ives house for October half term, yay. I got a shortlist of 3 & then we all voted (although dh & I retained a casting vote!!). The winner was the biggest & most expensive but a stones throw from Porthminster Beach, sea views and a parking space so definitely worth it (thanks to whoever reminded me about the parking )

Cocklodger · 15/06/2017 11:37

In fairness I haven't been on many sites, but I have tried out pure profile, I've made $45 so far I did about 10 surveys to get that.
Smile I used to use inbox pounds in the U.K. And am still using that, as you can get cash out on amazon cards which I'm using to pay for gifts for family members for Christmas/birthdays (no amazon here Sad ) I've made £110 over the last 3 and a half months ish, which isn't bad. I go on daily and do a few surveys, maybe sign up to a trial offer and occasionally buy something.
I used to do the betting offers but without betting.
They have offers like "deposit £10 get £15" id just deposit the £10 and never play, and sit back with the £15 inbox pounds credit Grin you have to be careful though as with some it would be (for eg) William hill free bet credit rather than inbox pounds credit. I made a lot doing that though!

Laska5772 · 15/06/2017 13:24

Am on all day health and safety course... i know it needs to be done but i'd so rather be on the beach.. ( soon...Smile)

mammymammyIRL · 15/06/2017 14:06

Think of it as a day sitting down getting paid while being told stuff you already know laska Less stress for same money!

mammymammyIRL · 15/06/2017 14:07

Intrigued about inbox pounds lodger do you have to be resident in UK?

Loveabaconsandwich · 15/06/2017 16:43

Got a bit behind! Not sure why I think life just got busy, doing what, I'm not sure.

Well done seacow, so glad you have finished.

I spent £36 in M&s food, but used various offers, had 10% off and £24 of gift vouchers

I was a bit fed up though. Got home to find my m&s cup cakes I bought (as it's DPs birthday today) were out of date. So went back with my grumpy face on. And got a refund and TWO free boxes of cakes (and they are dated long enough in theory to save one box for my birthday next week). So a bit time wasting but frugal there

I've lost track with the Lego cards. Can people remind me what they are missing again and I will look please. copper we opened some new packs yesterday so I can check for you again

Loveabaconsandwich · 15/06/2017 16:52

Sorry copper just read back and haven't got a spare no 90

AdoraBell · 15/06/2017 17:50

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/06/2017 18:07

Not at work till next Thursday now.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/06/2017 18:42

NSD yippee - though DH is getting bread and yogurt on the way home

God my DC are grumpy tonight....

Coppersulphate · 15/06/2017 19:28

Are you in Australia Lodger or have I got that wrong?
Laska, love your hair. Wish I was brave enough to have mine that colour.

LSD, just 2 stamps to post Lego swaps to people. We now have full set. Thanks to everyone for sending them to me.

LonelyOversharer · 15/06/2017 19:50

I spent £46 in lidl, but about half of that was for the race on sunday. Am bored of the usual stuff I make, and might make some 'new' stuff. I want to try making marshmallows. But my stand mixer only has plastic bowls. I cannot find and technical info as to wether I can dribble boiling sugar into the bowl without it melting! I suppose there's only one way to find out.

It's blowing a gale here, and we keep having torrential downpours. Dogs still need walking, so thats gonna be fun.

WreckTangled · 15/06/2017 20:04

Hey everyone. Sorry I've been awol, I have been lurking.

Welcome to all the new people.

Barcelona was awesome it's up there with the best. We are now really poor. Literally have nothing I'm using my birthday money for food (happy birthday to me 30 today ).

We are out tomorrow night to see sigma at goodwood so horse racing too but it's all free as we know someone who knows someone Wink will include posh food and all drinks.

Dd's birthday Saturday she's having a tea party and in the evening I'm out to a PTA event.

I feel like we haven't stopped for forever. Just about to make dinner.

Yesterday was a nsd today £20 fuel.

Cagliostro · 15/06/2017 20:05

Frugaleers - joyfully jumping into June
CremeEggThief · 15/06/2017 20:38

Happy birthday Wreck. CakeGlad you enjoyed Barcelona. Beautiful flowers!

SnugglySnerd · 15/06/2017 20:42

I'd love to go to Barcelona, Wreck. Pleased you enjoyed it.

Bit of a spendy day. Just spent £87 on weekly shop which is actually a bug improvement on recent weeks even wother a shed load of nappies and wipes.

Also walked to local shops this afternoon for something to do. I took a sandwich and drink but also treated myself to a coffee and a cake since the babies were asleep in the pram. I actually got to sit down in peace and enjoy it.

Bought new dribble bibs too as the velcro has stopped working on the old ones.

SnugglySnerd · 15/06/2017 20:43

Sorry about typos. This phone has a mind of its own!

allthebestplease · 15/06/2017 20:43
