Girlie, what number cards do you need. If I have them, happy to post.
Congrats Em, they must think a lot of you.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/06/2017 19:47

That's lovely em.
Welcome laska and copper. I have more unopened ones of you want them. Girlie I have loose ones too if you post your numbers.
I got all my last ones on that thread and have given loads away yesterday.

£8 Morrison's today as forgot my lunch and bought team biccies. Shit day at work but ended with promotion extension so more money for another few months. must save more

AuditAngel · 13/06/2017 19:50

We have to declare gifts over £250, but doesn't mean it can't be accepted. We can't accept cash gifts. One partner received a £4K watch!

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/06/2017 20:08

Well done Life.

Cagliostro · 13/06/2017 20:09

Am 18 weeks creme scan is June 27th :)

Coppersulphate · 13/06/2017 20:11

In Lego cards I need 7, 38, 90, 129, 113.
At home here I have 2x2, 3x2, 19, 33, 36x2, 49,53, 65, 68,72, 73, 92, 104x2, 105, 120, 121
Let me know if anyone wants them
DD is posts the lorry load of cards that I left at her house so I should have more soon.

SnugglySnerd · 13/06/2017 21:27

I have a few Lego cards that mum gave to DD1 who opened them and looked at them then lost interest as they were a daft thing to give to a 3 yo. I'll see what I have.

Dot I've just accepted that it's crazy now and that the house will never be tidy immaculate again. To be honest we have great days when we manage to go somewhere or cook something or do something fun with DD1 and I feel like Supermum then the next day is back to total chaos with CBeebies on for half the day and I feel completely useless again. Today was somewhere in between!

Have promised DD1 that we'll do painting tomorrow. What was I thinking???

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 13/06/2017 21:34

Dd needs 15, 61, 70, 73, 89, 98, 99 and 107 then she is done thank God

100yearsdotcom · 13/06/2017 21:39

Grin snuggly I know what you mean! I feel like at the moment I either have baby on a boob or I'm folding washing... and sometimes I feel like I'm getting on top of it all and other days I just want to drink whisky sleep!

Thanks cag Smile it's a big relief and is going to help me feel more independent again.

Well done on the promotion extension life Flowers

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 13/06/2017 21:45

Copper can send you 7 and 113?

Laska same with us, a patient once gave me £5 in a card to give dd and you would not believe the fuss that was created!!

needastrongone · 13/06/2017 21:53

£10 off 10 tops Laska, but you don't need to look so don't worry......

Snuggly, I saw a lady today with twin boys in a buggy and a toddler DD and thought fucking hell, how does she cope. You are doing amazing. I promise you are.

Brill re the continued promotion Life. We've paid a touch extra for 3 months, I've saved none, it's easy done. x

Lonely I'm 45 and wear cut off shorts, I run a lot and have skinny toned legs. I work hard for a pretty decent figure, age shouldn't be a barrier. I draw the line at a cropped top though Grin

Audit, that's lovely re your DS.

I've missed a post from Creme, so shall read back.

ememem84 · 13/06/2017 21:57

fluffy technically the likes of you (meaning not born here) you'll have to live here for 11 years before you can buy.

Unless you have a gazillion pounds. And promise to buy a house worth over £1.8million and pay a minimum of £250k tax a year. Then you can move over.

There is a vetting system. The gov needs a ton of paperwork references etc.

ememem84 · 13/06/2017 22:02

laksa um yep £250. For my line of work that's fairly standard. It covers things like dinners out etc.

The form is hideously complicated. I'm going to have to look up the wine and the bubbly to price check it (which takes the fun out of it).

I must write a thank you note too.

Final baby class this evening. Then we headed out for dinner. £22 on apple tango, irn bru, a chili bean burger, chicken goujons and sweet potato fries x2. Yum.

Now home and in bed.

Dhs new boss lives there, I think he's renting by the looks of it.

He doesn't even go home at the weekends. Bet his dw loves having so many kids 24/7.

SunnyLikeThursday · 13/06/2017 22:11

I've been up to my ears for three days and have not had a chance to read back. I hope things are going well there. Smile Much progress being made here.

CremeEggThief · 13/06/2017 22:42

Wow, Cag, only 2 weeks to D (iscovery) Day!Smile

Laska5772 · 13/06/2017 23:16

I have never had a bonus either in 40+ years of working .. definately went into the wrong job .... A bit too late to change that now though..

There is a job going at work in my field, for which i have all the quals and experience, which I could apply for and definately would have done so a couple of years ago .. but now I am just thinking of the day I leave Grin

oh, I am going to be pretty skint, but hey, ho

Not applying for that job is rather liberating (I've had a few people point it out to me , but I havent said anything yet at work about my escape plan ) ..

Coppersulphate · 13/06/2017 23:37

Girlie I'll send 73, just pm me an address. And yes please send 7 and 113. I will pm my address.
I'll have more soon when DD sends them up so will look through for your numbers

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/06/2017 06:08

I haven't got any of those numbers sorry but I do have some unopened ones if anyone wants.

mammymammyIRL · 14/06/2017 07:10

Morning guys it's a beautiful morning here. Just did part of bootcamp workout today & this evening while dd is at rehearsals I'll get a short run in.

Washing machine is on blink again so I'm taking the washing to outdoor laundry while rehearsals are on €8 for 18kg & dryer is €4 for 15 mins.

That's the only spending I've planned.

LonelyOversharer · 14/06/2017 07:41

Oh god, and now a tower block has gone up in flames Flowers
The pictures on the telly are simply horrific. 140 flats Sad

Loveabaconsandwich · 14/06/2017 08:04

Those poor people lonely, absolutely terrifying

That is a nice feeling to have laska. Also I imagine you smile to yourself every time something is mentioned that you won't be there for!

Didn't get a chance to look at our spare Lego cards- will have a look later

Loveabaconsandwich · 14/06/2017 08:10

We can't really accept gifts either. I did once get a bonus of about £500 in my old job but that was a strange year. Funnily enough the next year was the start of the spending review and have never seen once since. We did spend most of it on f1 tickets oh the days of frivolous spending before DC

Laska5772 · 14/06/2017 09:45

Such an appalling fire.. Those poor people. It looks like all the cladding on the outside went up and spread it massively. Was recently refurbed by the council it seems . ( its the kind of stuff i get involved in in my job) I wouldnt want to be in their property / development dept right now.

Laska5772 · 14/06/2017 09:53

No , it looks like a housing association not local authority But whatever , bad refurb and maintenance by the look of it. Horrific.. those poor families
