Oh and lonely thanks for the good luck vibes. Xx

Cagliostro · 29/03/2017 10:45

Apologies for butting in again with big news like I did on Saturday.

But DH just checked the council website.

We are on Band A!!! They accepted our medical form and evidence!

Breathing a big fucking sigh of relief.

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/03/2017 10:56

Thank god for that!. All that form filling paid off!

SnugglySnerd · 29/03/2017 11:21

Yay, Cag!

I am smiling at the idea of the guy with all his pockets full of bottles!

MIL has just brought round some lunch and taken DD1 out for a bit. I am trying to sleep but am a bit wired.

WreckTangled · 29/03/2017 11:40

Brilliant news Cag!!

Snuggly that sounds like a good plan Smile your mil sounds helpful.

£2.60 parking
£12.99 shorts in new look
£5.98 on two dresses for dd
£100 cash exchanged to nzd
£1100 paid off dh's credit card
£4 swimsuit for dd.
£8 kfc

SunnyLikeThursday · 29/03/2017 12:14

Great news Cag! What a relief.

I just managed to get ds to accept having his teeth x ray'd. Big fight ensued about what size of lego box that should have earned him, but at least we got the x ray.

Great news, Cag. Really pleased for you.

It's my OCD tendencies, Sunny.

SunnyLikeThursday · 29/03/2017 12:46

Creme LOL! I go the other way. I'm the one who is always early for appointments and goes to exams with 45 biros just to be sure.

Thanks everyone! Just so pleased they found our evidence sufficient. Doing the forms was pretty soul destroying and I was getting convinced that they'd still say it wasn't enough! Obviously it will still be a while because there will be loads on A before us, and people on A+ too ie in far higher need than us. But just knowing we are a little nearer is amazing.

And I'm quietly pleased this has come through before telling them about pregnancy so nobody can accuse us of getting pregnant for a house. Blush :o

Mum said if we have a bigger kitchen when we do move, she wants to buy us a dishwasher. ❤️️💐

LonelyOversharer · 29/03/2017 13:13

cag that is BRILLIANT news! Super happy and hope a suitable house comes up soon. Love your mum too.

Been home, made big choc cookies, and an experiment, carrot cake flapjack (best flapjack recipie with grated carrots, walnuts, dates and spices in) we shall see. Tired cyclists eat anything mind.

Took the dogs 4.5 miles on the bike (to the end of the trail and back), so they will sleep all afternoon and not miss us. Brought lunch back from home, so no spends yet.

Good luck to your ds sunny so odd you don't have a good pediatric dentist anywhere near. We are spoiled though with the dental hospital at the rvi in newcastle. The took out ds's front 4 teeth at 2.5 Sad and were amazing.

ememem84 · 29/03/2017 13:25

Awesome news cag yeeeeeehawwww!!!

Just back from house viewing. The vibe is totally there. Dh went into the loft. And the technical term is "the roof is fucked" it's all patched from the inside. Felt has gone. Thankfully fil is a roofer....

I think we're going to put an offer in....so a post of mine within the next few days may be a spendy one! Haha

WreckTangled · 29/03/2017 13:55

Oh wow em so exciting!

£33 in sainsburys on two school summer dresses for dd (she will need them the day after we get back from NZ so needed them now); a thick cards for her in the sale; a pair of shorts for me; raspberries; three cream eggs Blush

Cagliostro · 29/03/2017 14:00

Oh gosh em yay! How cool! :o

allthebestplease · 29/03/2017 14:35

Great news cag & em you're both on the house moving and new baby vive Smile

wreck exciting about nz.

I got paid £60 for research thing, very happy with that.

Nsd. (whoop whoop)

WreckTangled · 29/03/2017 14:42

Just updated my car insurance to include business use. £25 admin fee Angry and increase of £4 a month. Renew in July anyway.

ChocolateTorte · 29/03/2017 15:18

Today’s spends:
£7 on lunch (I had food brought from home for lunch but my pregnant self really felt like a nice sandwich out so I decided to indulge myself.)

Very exciting on the potential house purchase Em.

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/03/2017 15:38

wreck email the CEO, Halifax did the same to me and I complained one the grounds that as I did it online I was the one doing the admin and saving them money by not using the call centre. I also accused them of profiteering because £25 is probably way more than it actually cost & charges should be realistic & did their ombudsman know how inflated these charges were?. I got my money back.

Loaning Dh £250 for a deposit.

Good going life Star

Fingers crossed em

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/03/2017 15:39

Sorry Best Star

MeadowHay · 29/03/2017 15:43

Congrats to Cag and Em re: houses.

I got 83 on an exam I did a few weeks ago Shock which is the highest mark I've ever had on my degree, nuts!

Work is super boring atm but oh well it is easy and my colleagues are mostly good company and I get paid so -shrug-. Spent £2.79 on lunch in the SU afterwards as I was having one of those horrid mornings this morning so didn't manage to sort out lunch for myself and I was going straight to a two-hour revision session with my mentor so needed to eat. Home and exhausted and sleepy now -yawns-.

Whoever had a job interview today as I think somebody did, I hope it went well.

WreckTangled · 29/03/2017 15:44

I did it over the phone though fluffy. I might try its m&s...

Cagliostro · 29/03/2017 15:56

Wow meadow epic result! Well done!

needastrongone · 29/03/2017 15:59

Cag Oh super news, well done. Star. I'm thinking this new Caglet is a little angel of good omens and fate.

Em Oh your life is so exciting at the minute. Great news on the vibe/house. Can you negotiate re the roof? Is yours on the market now?

Who mentioned the wine offer? I'm very grateful, as I used it in M&S today. Sorry, the name changed haven't all stuck with me yet.

Meadow Super news on the exam, that's fantastic. Stop boasting though he he. Grin

How did the interview go Strawberry?

Seacow I'm glad your ds's visit went well. I'm interested to know what an EHCP is please?

Chocolate cake flapjack sounds interesting Lonely. Get me, I'm full of cold and actually NOT going to go for a run. Usually I would, I'm so sensible these days. I've got a 25 mile trail race on Sunday, I want to be okay for this. I've told the DC I'm not ferrying at all tonight, under no circumstances!

Spends were/are £100 in M&S, half of which was the wine, plus chicken/salmon and fruit, saved from using Lidl.

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/03/2017 16:04

Did you? Bugger.

Complain anyway, £25 is ridiculous and emails are free!.

Bloody admin charges.

Cagliostro · 29/03/2017 16:06

I'm thinking this new Caglet is a little angel of good omens and fate. Aw need what a lovely thought 💐💕 thank you!

SnugglySnerd · 29/03/2017 16:11

Well done, Meadow and good luck with the house offer, Em.
