That sounds exciting, Em!

Good news about Cag's scan and Need's tax inspection.

Hope the tablets help, Wreck.

I think the babies are asleep so going to have a cup of tea and try and snooze for a bit myself.

WreckTangled · 27/03/2017 13:41

It's never lupus em Wink

Ds and I have gone out for a lovely walk and ice cream. It's much sunnier than the photo shows. We parked miles away so we didn't have to pay.

Eeeek not long now wreck!

I am grumpy because nowhere has twiglets. It's like the courgette shortage all over again 😜 I found a bag in a newsagent but they were stale and horrible!

needastrongone · 27/03/2017 16:19

Grin Cag. Will Marmite on toast do as an alternative?!

Snuggly Please please try to sleep if you can.

I'm sorry about the back pain polka.

Fingers crossed for the medication Wrecked. Are they still going to investigate further.

Hoping the second visit goes well for your DS Seacow. Have fun tonight, we don't always have to be frugal. Smile

Em Sounds like you and DH are totally organised, sensible and sorted. Hope the 2nd viewing gives you the right 'vibe' iyswim?

Thanks all for being happy about the tax inspection. I hadn't realised it was bothering me. I am sure the report will have to find something, but good to know we are okay overall.

So spends today were a touch more than expected, but I was going way of the feed shop and it saves a trip later in the week. £32.

Cagliostro · 27/03/2017 16:20

Now don't think me weird need (too late I know 😂) but I don't like marmite!!!

OP posts:
needastrongone · 27/03/2017 16:21

Veggie enchiladas for tea tonight, but I need to plan further for the week. Plenty of food in, just a case of thinking it through more than I have!

needastrongone · 27/03/2017 16:22

What!!!!!! How can you not like Marmite but you love Twiglets? Sorry, that IS weird. Grin

Cagliostro · 27/03/2017 16:24

Yup Blush :o

WreckTangled · 27/03/2017 16:25

cag I'm not sure we can be online friends anymore. I love marmite!

I want twiglets now. Might have marmite on toast later instead Grin

Cagliostro · 27/03/2017 16:33

Oh noooo the great marmite debate strikes again 😱
I can't even blame this weirdness on pregnancy I have always had these feelings 😂

Well done on concealing that slush fund Need Grin

Polka Your back injury sounds awful. If it's any consolation I had whiplash for nearly two years from a car crash and the physio did one session of deep massage & some exercise sheets to do at home & it went overnight.

Then I got bra interventioned on style and beauty and I haven't had any pain since.

NSD.

Brightermornings · 27/03/2017 17:17

That's frustrating about your eBay sale polka. I'm waiting for feedback on something I've sold a few weeks ago. I always worry they've not received it and I soon as I spend the money they'll open a case. Hope your backs feeling better soon.
I've booked a gardener to come to do a tidy up. I'm not green fingered in the slightest so need all the help I can get. I did cut my grass yesterday which has made it look much better. I need some tree stumps pulling out and ideally getting rid of the grass at the front. It would be one less thing to do!

MeadowHay · 27/03/2017 17:21

Fluffy I have some on and off residual back & neck pain from whiplash injury that was over 3 years ago Sad. The physio I had about three months after the accident made a huge difference though as it was awful before then. Now it just means I can't carry much or do lots of bending or it flares up again but is otherwise ok.

I like Marmite but DH doesn't. I have a tiny pot for myself.

NSD so far but we might go to Maccies for dinner as we want to enter the Monopoly fun Grin. We are undecided at present though.

Had to see a different GP today and it was awful. She kept asking me questions about my anxiety and could clearly see I was getting really worked up and then didn't suggest anything helpful and just eventually gave me my prescription without saying anything Hmm and then when I checked my patient record at home she has wrote me saying that my Asperger's influences my anxiety as "she stated she has a personality that includes anxiety" ........really though?! Hmm

allthebestplease · 27/03/2017 18:05

meadow that a bit Hmmabout the dr.
Spent £25 in Lidl. £3 in Tesco.

Maths question to cag and others... I'm teaching negative and positive numbers (- and a - = positive etc). But it's really confusing for the children, any ideas?

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 27/03/2017 18:45

Hello all just catching up!

Cag thats fab they have booked you in with midwife and hopefully get a scan sorted soon.

Well done Need on the tax inspection, Fluffy Grin

Snuggly you do not need to be dressed to take a food delivery!! Bloody hell I would be a zombie on 2 hours kip, I am getting my Morrisons shopping delivery and will definitely probably still be in my dressing gown!!

Marmite is the food of Gods, there is nothing more to say on the subject!

Hope they can sort the nausea the Wreck feeling sick is the pits.

Hope your sons session went well Seacow

Em i have mixed feeling about private schools, the socialist in me doesn't like them as they are fundamentally unfair but that said if I won the lottery I would probably feel differently Wink You have to also bear in mind that there are lots of additional costs such as expensive uniforms, trips, clubs etc.

Busy day here as worked all day and then went straight to parents evening, had a mixed report tbh. Teacher said dd is progressing well but can be bossy and loud at times Hmm think dd struggles with things she finds hard so tends to give up before she fails iyswim?

NSD.

ememem84 · 27/03/2017 19:03

girlie that's why my parents didn't send me. They could afford the fees but dad said it wouldn't be fair for me not to have the extras.

It's all something to be discussed in the future.

If baby is a boy he gets priority entrance to dhs old school. So that's good. No entrance exam etc.

Gorgeous day here.

Bought juice and pizza in Waitrose. £10.80

SnugglySnerd · 27/03/2017 19:38

I love Marmite but don't like twiglets, is that strange too?

I never thought of putting my dressing gown on, Girlie! Common sense has abandoned me!

WreckTangled · 27/03/2017 19:46

I wanted chocolate so made a chocolate mug cake. Yum.

ememem84 · 27/03/2017 19:58

Dh is sugar soaping the walls. He's bought a few tester pots to patch up the paintwork.

He started asking me to help then decided for himself that as a preggo I shouldn't be painting. easy win

Now settling in for university challenge.

needastrongone · 27/03/2017 20:03

Girlie They just get a bit ready to move on too. It's hard to describe, but they need secondary education. Then it starts again and they are the little fish in the big pond again. DS and his mates in the 6th form are clearly SO much cooler than the lower years. That's what they think, until they start Uni and the cycle starts again. Smile

I am sorry about the GP Meadow, she doesn't sound at all sympathetic.

Slush fund is well hidden Fluffster Wink.

Loveabaconsandwich · 27/03/2017 20:34

Been a funny day here. Lots of change likely at work e.g. more work for me again. Next week will be a decider so not much I can do about it. Might be some good news on my job application front, in that someone might want to interview me, but even that's been a bit odd too Hmm

I went to take a £20 top back to H&M but then spent that plus another £30 odd. My new rule is if a new item is still in the bag with tags on after three weeks it needs to be returned as I obviously don't need/like it enough. I have lots of not quite right clothes that should've been returned

CremeEggThief · 27/03/2017 20:36

Spends: 55p cheese scone; which kept me going between work, Pilates and dinner (omelette with Applewood cheese and baby spinach with Balsamic. Yum!); £3.69 Co-op.

I hate Marmite.

ememem84 · 27/03/2017 20:40

For the record I bloody love marmite.

On crumpets, toast, bagels,in cheese toasties,on crackers in mashed potato, in slag Bol...

ememem84 · 27/03/2017 20:40

Spag bol. Not Slag bol.

Lol
