Fluffycloudland77 · 27/03/2017 07:59

wreck I'd ask them. It must be awful for you.

ememem84 · 27/03/2017 08:00

Dh has big plans for the garden. To be fair we've never had our own garden so any would be a challenge.

But he's talking about diggers and proper landscaping and taking trees down... and making specific areas for playing, eating, veg etc. Which would make it more manageable.

But hey ho. We're going back for a second look and have an idea of an offer we'd make. The offer would be £25k below their asking price. But we're going to play 2 cards. The "it's a great family home and I'm pg and we want somewhere to start our family" and the "work needs doing to it" cards. And see where we go. We could afford the asking price. But why pay more than you have to.

Hoping for nsd today. Have my pack up all ready for lunch. And wil probably go and sit somewhere in the sun at lunchtime.

Have had an offer on a dress I listed on eBay £35. So have accepted that. Not too bad considering it's a brand new one from coast.

ememem84 · 27/03/2017 08:00

wreck I hope you can get seen this week x

needastrongone · 27/03/2017 08:49

Wreck, definitely the GP as your first port of call, get the ball rolling and he/she can help short term. It may or may not be diet related so probably best to do the medical route. You haven't caught Cag and Em's disease haven't you? Wink

Em You are your DH are hugely sensible sorts re money and practical stuff. I pretty sure you will budget well for the increase in mortgage and decide the right course for the house. Whens the 2nd viewing.

Hoping for a NSD or LSD. If I go past the feed shop I will pop in, as their bags of sawdust are twice the size and half the cost of the high street pet store.

phoenixtherabbit · 27/03/2017 08:49

Sorry I've not posted in a while! Things have been stressful!

Spent £9 on three dresses from eBay but sold a board game on fb for £7 too.

Need to go out later and nappies and a few other bits so I'm expecting another 7 at least.

I've listed my pram and jumparoo and some baby clothes on Facebook, gumtree and pre loved but no luck so far. Yet i manage to sell a shit board game! I don't know what I'm doing wrong Confused

needastrongone · 27/03/2017 08:50

*When's.

Cag Thanks. x

Cagliostro · 27/03/2017 09:09

Seacow sorry about the previous MC. Glad this pregnancy is going well 💐

Wreck I can't remember what's causing the nausea for you but whatever it is, feeling sick is rubbish. Have they tried medication like omeprazole? That's what I was given (or something similar beginning with L) before I found out my actual 'disease' Wink.

Getting a call back from the doc today to discuss what happens now.

Wreck good idea to see the GP.

LonelyOversharer · 27/03/2017 09:31

em good luck with the house! It does sound lovely, and zoning (is that the right word?) the garden will make it much easier to deal with. And having a dh who is keen too helps massivley!

When I split from ex and moved I had 2 houses in the area I could afford outright, a tidy town house with a paved yard in a village with schools, shops, doctors etc; and a half derelict place in the middle of nowhere with a good size garden. Guess which I chose! Am still trying to sort the garden out (house is livable if you have very low standards!).

Speaking of which... will post a pic of my walls/willow later - the fog has just lifted to reveal the bluest sky.

wreck gp definitely. You'll need something to take to NZ with you.

SnugglySnerd · 27/03/2017 09:36

So. Tired. Think I had 2 hours sleep last night from about 5am to 7. I would have stayed in bed longer but online shopping coming this morning so thought I'd better get dressed! Mainlining coffee!

Had lovely but busy weekend with lots of family visiting. They all brought nappies!

Love the Oops condoms Grin

PolkadotPony · 27/03/2017 09:46

So many posts 😊

I went back to work on Friday, and yesterday, but I'm bed bound with my back again today and missing clients 😞 feeling sorry for myself.

I have a sizeable garden which is nice, as I'm semi detached. It's very nice to have but I'm not Green fingered. I have a garden man.

Bought the school shoes on Saturday, dc all very happy and dc4 chose brogues and they're very sweet. Clarks definitely the right choice 😊

No other expenditures really, bank looking nice and healthy now.

Made £105 on eBay, it should be an extra £35 but the buyer is saying she didn't receive Hmmso PayPal are holding that for the moment and I'm sure I'll lose that and the shoes now.

On my last week of my sky subscription.

Cagliostro · 27/03/2017 10:05

Oh no sorry about the lack of sleep Snuggly and the back pain Polka :( Cake Brew

Haha def not Cag and em's disease! Waiting for a call back from my useless GP now I usually try to wait until her day off.... Cag PPI's don't help with this unfortunately.

needastrongone · 27/03/2017 11:01

Quick post from work but we've passed our tax inspection! I knew we don't do anything wrong but it's been quite stressful all the same the last couple of months, like Ofsted coming in for schools iyswim?

Anyway, we've passed. All our systems and procedures are as they should be and all in order.

This is my responsibility at work so Ive felt it's me being inspected.

PhewSmile

SunnyLikeThursday · 27/03/2017 11:04

Well done! StarCake

SunnyLikeThursday · 27/03/2017 11:05

Wreck are you familiar with chronic hyperventilation? It's another possibility that you can look out for to see if it's happening.

WreckTangled · 27/03/2017 11:10

Great news need! Well done Smile

Sunny doesn't sound anything like what I have. It's either gastroparesis or lupus type stuff. I don't have lupus but have lupus tendencies

Cagliostro · 27/03/2017 11:21

Woohoo need well done!

OP posts:
SunnyLikeThursday · 27/03/2017 12:08

Oh gosh Wreck. I don't know anything about lupus. What are lupus tendencies?

WreckTangled · 27/03/2017 12:14

Basically I have some lupus symptoms but not the five needed for a diagnosis (thankfully). Dr has given me some anti sickness anyway so hopefully they'll do their job.

SunnyLikeThursday · 27/03/2017 12:29

Gosh, yes I see what you mean. It doesn't sound so fun.

Cagliostro · 27/03/2017 12:58

Hope they work Wreck 💐

Sunny interestingly I was told off for hyperventilating by the specialist who diagnosed my CFS and POTS. He helped me learn to slow my breathing down when I stand up because 'overbreathing' makes the dizziness worse. It definitely helps.

So, had a pnonecall from a nice friendly doctor and he's booked me in for an "early pregnancy appointment" with a midwife! Which surprised me as I thought it'd still be a GP. But he mentioned the possibility of moving a scan forward (as I'm so unsure of when 12 weeks would be). So I'm feeling more positive now although it's all getting very real very quickly! It's next Tuesday (he offered me tomorrow but looking after other kids so definitely can't do then!)

ememem84 · 27/03/2017 12:59

need woohoo tax passed!

wreck oooof lupus type stuff. I don't know much about it (other than what I gleaned watching House MD....) but it doesn't sound fun. Take care xx

Second viewing on house is weds lunchtime. Dh has spoken to the bank and they have approved mortgage in principal. Being a small place it's interesting what you can find out. I know that last week an offer was accepted and the cash buyer pulled out (vendor being difficult). I know who the vendor is. And I know what the offer was.

The agent has answered all my questions this morning too. I've indicated we're more than a little interested. And he doesn't have anyone else viewing before us. So that's good.

lonely I think the word "zoning" works. It seems sensible to do it otherwise it'd become unmanageable.

LSD. £1.74 on an icy cold can of sprite and a bag of crisps.

ChristmasSeacow · 27/03/2017 13:11

Great news on the tax inspection Need.

Lonely sounds like brilliant garden progress.

I am about to take DS for his second settling in session at pre school. I have mentioned it a couple of times this morning and he has ignored me. Let's see whether he gets in the car without a meltdown!

Off out tonight into London to meet some ex colleagues - one now lives in Australia but is over for a visit. Dim sum. I am looking forward to seeing everyone but it won't be an LSD Smile

Dull morning has turned to lovely sunshine here.
