Sorry snuggly. Happy birthday sea.
I knew it was an s

£9.40 takeout

AdoraBell · 11/02/2017 17:49

Slightly Spendy here, £4.50 greengrocer and £18 in butchers, then £2 on 🍫

Very cold here too, we had a little snow this morning but it didn't settle.

Beeneatingburnttoast · 11/02/2017 17:54

Slept all afternoon as it's been a long week

Curry is cooking yum

need boots arrived in the bigger size and now fit my chubby ankles Grin

NSD
Checked my cc spending the other day. Frugal spending is going well- have spent only about one seventh of last months bill so far (pay it off in full each month) and a third of the way through the month.

Someone mentioned steak to improve iron levels. Could do with a nice piece of steak! Might make me feel better too so steak will be on the menu this week Smile

WreckTangled · 11/02/2017 18:06

Not sure how he fitted in here..

I asked Dh to do some washing whilst I was out this morning. He only did his stuff Hmm

Omg Steak!!! I'm off steak until my birthday. (4 days before due date). I like my steak rare rare rare. With pepper sauce. And chips and garlicky "squeaky" french beans. And a bottle of Malbec.

If I can't have it like that. I don't want it.

I hardly think rare steak that close to due date will do any harm. Right?

Obviously if I'm otherwise engaged on my birthday it's going to be my first at home post baby meal!

Dh has promised to sneak me a McDonald's as my first post baby meal. He's a legend.

IdStillRatherBeKnitting · 11/02/2017 18:41

em I sat in the car with a Byrger King 8 hours after I had ds. Was beyond delicious!

wreck I love your cat. Mine is keeping me company. Have retreated to my bedroom as feeling low.

WreckTangled · 11/02/2017 18:43

I cried three days after having Ds because Dh forgot to order my mozzarella dippers. Dick. I'm still angry at him, he didn't even see the problem (baring in mind Ds was in scbu for two weeks I wasn't feeling my best anyway!).

Thanks knitting he's such a character he acts like a kitten despite being almost nine.

SnugglySnerd · 11/02/2017 18:43

That's ok, Lifelong, birthday wishes are always nice!
Em I'm just debating whether I can have a can of coke on top of 3 cups of tea I've already had today. Strictly speaking it's too much caffeine but I don't think it can hurt as a one-off this late on can it??
I don't usually like coke but have been craving it all week with lots of ice. DH has bought me a can and made ice!

ememem84 · 11/02/2017 18:53

snuggly personally I'd go for it.

WreckTangled · 11/02/2017 19:01

I didn't limit my caffeine when pregnant never really thought about it Blush

SnugglySnerd · 11/02/2017 19:30

We shared it in the end and I had lots of ice in mine.
Been making another meal plan based around contents of cupboards and freezer, hopefully another fairly cheap shopping week.

ememem84 · 11/02/2017 19:31

I have been. Cut it down to two cups of proper tea a day (in the morning) then herbal tea in the afternoon.

Fluffycloudland77 · 11/02/2017 20:11

I thought caffeine was only limited early on due to mc risk? (It was in my zita west book)

Happy Birthday Sea, I hope you've been spoilt today 🎂

£28.50 leather ballet flats and heel grips in M&S. The carvela ones are being sent back, too big, too synthetic & uncomfortable generally.

There's free bread on checkoutsmart and clicksnap, plus baby food & what I think is ready made formula. I'm going to get the baby stuff for the food bank.

allthebestplease · 11/02/2017 20:17

My cat that has now gone back to live with my parents due to us having dogs.

Forgot to say earlier, GP said long period may be start of peri menopause, whoopee do!! Also could be hypothyroid. Had bloods done, referred for an ultra sound and now on 7 days of progesterone to stop the bleeding. It has stopped so fingers crossed it doesn't restart after the 7 days! The joys of womanhood Grin

ememem84 · 11/02/2017 21:09

Oh all cat is lovely!!! How are the dogs?

Cagliostro · 11/02/2017 21:11

Oh joy north ugh being a woman is properly shit sometimes isn't it? Still sounds like they are tackling the issue so that's great.

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 11/02/2017 21:15

Yes north that sounds very proactive of them I would be really pleased of that were my GP I don't like mine

all gorgeous cat!

Getting into bed is my favourite part of the day Grin I don't mean that in a 'miserable/I hate life' way. But I love the feeling of just relaxing into my comfy pillow Grin

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 11/02/2017 21:23

Hi all just popping on to say a quick hello, been very busy here with work and life! Also it looks like my laptop may be going to the fixers on Monday so I will be offline until it is fixed and back, makes me feel a tad anxious thinking about it!!

So don't fret if you don't see me for a day or two, I will be back!!

Tryingtosaveup · 11/02/2017 21:39

Happy birthday Creme. Enjoy York. I'll probably go back there again this year with DGD when the Jorvik opens again.
Wreck, I love your cartoons....some reactions to the questions Snuggly will be asked.
Very, very spend day here and I didn't mean it. It just happened.
I have to do a presentation next week so started to prepare the PowerPoint. My laptop wouldn't work so took it in ti PC World to be repaired. The young man was very helpful...but as he was mending it I was looking around ( should have gone to the Costa next door but I was trying to be frugal....big expensive mistake). I saw a new, fast, smaller laptop. I now own it and the original one. It's a Dell with a fast processor.
Coffee in Costa would only have cost about £5.😥😥
Oh well my bathrooms are nearly finished.

AdoraBell · 11/02/2017 23:22

I went off red meat completely for 4 months. We were eating in an Argentine steak house in Panama when it became apparent that I couldn't eat my steak Sad

Love all the cat pics.

Happy birthday Creme and sea

You'd think you don't need to give step by step instructions for laundry when asking an adult to do it Wreck I'm sure some men do it on purpose thinking you won't ask them to do it again Hmm

AdoraBell · 11/02/2017 23:26

Here's one of my dogs eyeing up my dinner last night Grin

ememem84 · 12/02/2017 07:44

Beautiful doggo adora

Have just taught catface to sit patiently and wait for her food. #sundaymorningwin

WreckTangled · 12/02/2017 07:49

Adora he also hangs up all his own stuff and leaves the rest in a pile, wet, on the floor Angry but if I say anything I'll get moaned at for nagging.

Today will be a LSD. Dd has homework, I need to pop birthday card into my aunt and this afternoon dd has a party to go to and we will pay for Ds to join in (it's a roller skating party) so that's £5.

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/02/2017 07:59

Seems like I have an impromptu house full of people. Need custard and drinks but have enough in for the rest of lunch. Beef roast and beef stew.
