fluffy that made me chuckle!
I do that with ds, he eats plain pizza, sausages, nuggets (usually turkey dinosaurs) and those pasta in a cup a soup things (one brand, 2 acceptable flavours) on rotation. I am still waiting for him to want something nutritious! He eats brocolli too as his only veg. Its just a sit down meal for tea he struggles with, he eats really well the rest of the time. Wierd child.

MeadowHay · 10/02/2017 19:15

Cag what about soups, or stir fry? Can have stir fry with noodles, or couscous if the caglets are so inclined. Fajitas are also super easy and you can kind of just put whatever you want in them. If they like curry but not rice, you could have the curry with nan bread instead. I make curries with whatever veg I have in at the time really.

Tryingtosaveup · 10/02/2017 19:30

Wow, Peonies, great news. That's the hardest bit done.
Yes, not a bad day for us all.

Tryingtosaveup · 10/02/2017 19:31

Still got to cheer Meadow up though!

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 10/02/2017 19:40

Thanks all Smile I can't say I'm missing the NQT paperwork, it really was a faff!

allthebestplease · 10/02/2017 19:55

pea well done you, lots of hard work recognised.

CremeEggThief · 10/02/2017 20:15

Fluffy 😂 I wish! Even if I did that it'd have to be the RIGHT nuggets or DD wouldn't touch them 😱 I am lucky that they do eat some veg so the fussiness isn't as bad as it could be (looking at you in the past DSD :o) I just get so bloody bored and protein is hard to get into them. For example they say they like roast chicken but only eat the skin.

Nope to couscous and noodles (DD likes bean sprouts mind) no soup (DD likes leek and potato made by me but that's it). Today's pasta DS just left everything except the actual pasta with a smattering of cream cheese stuck to it. Sigh.

cag I love skin off of roast chicken. Dh thinks I'm a right weirdo.

I'm properly tired. In bed with mint tea water hot water bottle and catface. So far this evening she's stolen all of my hair clips from my nightstand and has pulled my alarm clock onto the floor. It has to be her. There's no way the clips ended up in her "under the bed lair" on their own and the clock can't just fall off. Naughty.

Dh made me a glass of bubbly before. It was cloudy lemonade tons of ice in the fancy champagne glasses. Nice.

I was told I could have a glass of wine a week if I wanted. But so far I don't want it. I thought I'd find the wine the hardest to give up.

I said to dh when I do next to have a drink it's going to be something lovely. A super nice glass of wine. Or a lovely glass of champagne. Or a really nice gin probably save the gin until after baby is here

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/02/2017 21:32

Congratulations MissA, Its obvious you love educating.

Biscuits so beautiful & fluffy.

SnugglySnerd · 10/02/2017 21:55

Em I think Catface is trying to prepare you for having a toddler, mine swiped my watch and ran off with it yesterday! Sounds like you're being well looked-after, I want cloudy lemonade now too! I've just had my bedtime cornflakes!

mammymammyIRL · 10/02/2017 22:05

Cag I was the fussiest of eaters growing up, when I was 13 my mother told me if you're not going to eat what we're having cook your own.
She would buy what I wanted once it wasn't wasted. I ate chips with aromat for dinner for an entire year when I was about 15. I didn't start eating cooked veg until college & still don't eat mash of any type, potatoes or drink milk but I've a very balanced healthy diet now & am a good cook unlike dm who's pretty bad & often asks me how to make things.
Moral of my essay, they'll be fine.
What do they like?
Would they like wrap pizzas so wrap spread with pesto or purée & topped with their favourite toppings.

Happy birthday seacow

I'd a tough day at work so I'm tucked up in bed & am going to sleep now after reading a few more pages of my Ebook Smile

AdoraBell · 10/02/2017 23:29

Yay Wreck Grin will try to catch up over the weekend.

Minor Spendy day. Boots, erm about £12 can't remember now, shampoo, conditioner and bubble bath.

£5 on coffee and cake

£10 on crapular for DDs and a sandwich for a young homeless chap.

DH is away, again.

CathodeRayTube · 11/02/2017 07:12

Meadow I used to feel a lot like you sound and I was not technically anaemic on testing but I ate a lot of steak and felt a lot better. Liver was good for it too.

SnugglySnerd · 11/02/2017 08:59

Morning all! We have had about a millimetre of snow overnight and DD keeps asking if she can build a snowman, bless! She looked so disappointed when we told her there's not enough snow for that.

DH has gone to the butcher to get himself some bits for the freezer otherwise hoping for NSD.

Cagliostro · 11/02/2017 09:27

Aww poor DD snuggly we had a 30 minute flurry here yesterday Hmm

So in the last couple of days I've finished watching Unforgotten and Apple Tree Yard, what next?! Feel bereft of British drama now.

Cagliostro · 11/02/2017 09:29

Thanks all for the thoughts re fussy eating BTW!

WreckTangled · 11/02/2017 09:52

We've had some snow too.

Our car is going to cost £250 to fix and they can't do it until Monday. Will have to go on the credit card.

Ds and I are having breakfast at Bill's.

Cagliostro · 11/02/2017 10:03

Oooh I love Bills Envy

Morning all.

£25 riding today and I must must get started on cleaning. Currently still in bed though.

I'm planning out my two weeks off in march while dh is away. Chores to be done, a mega eBay declutter session, nails and waxing, etc.

Cagliostro · 11/02/2017 10:28

Ooh I forgot to say DH's PT session went well the other day. Friend called him all manner of names during 😂 which he took as a sign that he's working hard! He messaged DH the day after to say thanks as well. Next one Monday morning. Just sorting out our sports club too - need to set up an earnings spreadsheet for him too now :o

Off to York for the day for my birthday, with DS. Our train leaves in 5 minutes. Having dinner at Jamie's Italian at 5, then our train back is about 6.45 p.m. It's a dreadful day, weather wise, but who cares when it's your birthday?

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 11/02/2017 11:10

Going to be £££ today as best friends birthday - have bought present already out of present fund which I save for each month but dinner out and doubtless drinks too.

SnugglySnerd · 11/02/2017 11:13

Happy birthday, Creme!

Is Apple Tree Yard good, Cag? I might watch it on iPlayer. I'm currently enjoying No Offence on C4, I think the series is nearly over but it's probably on catch up. Also watched the Shannon Matthews drama the other night. I'm not sure about it but I'll watch the second part. I love Sheridan Smith!
