Managed gym with dd and actually feel rather good in my body now, although tired. The other parents were so kind and helped us out and kept asking if I was ok. Very kind of them.

Wildernesstips · 25/10/2016 18:35

So pleased for you Collie on you refund and Genie on your social success.

Pay day today. £38 in Wilkinsons (7 Christmas pressies, 2 advent calendars and some toiletries).

Shesgotelectricboobs · 25/10/2016 18:43

creme love those! My nail lady has rose gold glitter...can't wait for my next appointment.

italian hope you're doing ok x X

I've just discovered that life is not too short to make pastry. I also didn't know I could make pastry. Apparently I can. Quiche for dinner with homemade pastry did i mention I can do that now?

Shockingly busy day today. And I got told my dress is too short. I admit it's not client meeting appropriate. But fine for just a normal day. Worn with tan knee high boots.

Best part of my day though, came home and catface followed me to fetch her dinner. Only into the next room. But still. 🐈🐈

And the vets have sent me a "your new cat" book. It's like a first baby book I suppose. I'm meant to fill it in. Might get on that tonight.

Nice nails.
£5 in Morrison's on 2 more pumpkins and carving stuff but had a £5 voucher so free.
I don't think it's too short with thick tights boobs.
Oh sounds like thinks are getting ready Italian

We had a weird day today.

I found a new nature reserve to take ds to and they advertised an activity for child + carer (£8) which is almost never seen here (all working parents).

So I wrote and booked, and then moved several mountains to get there. The office at the place was almost impossible to find, and then they refused to have us because we hadn't booked 48 hours in advance.
Clearly don't like money

Anyway we went away to a farm shop that was 100 yards down the road, and it was much much nicer. We spent £15 on pumpkins and nice things in the shop and had a lovely time.

It's so hard to find activities where ds gets to talk to people other than me. It's an odd thing that. He's such a sociable fellow, but there just aren't activities like that unless I leave him for the day.

We've got the biggest pumpkins ever, being a bit early.

Em that dress is fine!

Collie haha thank you for the explanation!! Hopefully won't need a stair lift for a few more years so will switch them back off!!

Mammy had a lovely day thank you, although the cinema had sold out Shock so kids were disappointed but we picked up a dvd, snacks and pumpkins and did cinema at home instead! Was lovely to catch up properly with my friend as well, spent £8 in Morrisons on food mostly.

Tomorrow might go out to a animal sanctuary place possibly....

Shesgotelectricboobs · 25/10/2016 19:08

girlie animal sanctuary. Just for looking though... because we wouldn't want you to end up with a cutie like this

The Friendly Frugaleers, saving and chatting as autumn arrives
Girliefriendlikesflowers · 25/10/2016 19:10

Agenie had your ds got a little friend that you could have over for the day? Its tricky with only children as they do get bored some times and miss out on a play mate, on Thursday we are having dds best friend from her old school over for the day and have planned a few nice things to do with them.

The nature reserve place sounds annoying!! Maybe have a look to see if there are any wildlife watch groups near you, there is one near us that is quite good for meeting up with like minded people and kids for dd to play with.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 25/10/2016 19:12

Haha boobs she is a cutie!!

Yes just for looking Wink I have more than enough animals to keep me busy and penniless as it is!!

NeversellahouseCollie · 25/10/2016 19:22

Love the nails.

boobs it isn't too short! In my last job I wore a top with a slash neck and someone complained that seeing my collar bone was risqué Grin

We have had loads of conveyancing progress today! Very very pleased. However my delightful toddler has been such a handful that's its completely overshadowed all the good news Confused anyway, nearly there!

WreckTangled · 25/10/2016 19:26

Boobs my work skirts are shorter than that. I wear thick tights with them.

Shesgotelectricboobs · 25/10/2016 19:32

See I figured it was ok because I check my outfits each morning with dh not in a controlling you can't wear that way more of a is my skirt too short/ can you see my bum cheeks/ are my boobs flying everywhere way. He said it looked good.

Admittedly it's not something I'd wear to a client meeting but for a more casual Tuesday it's ok.

Spends today £34 at the coop

WreckTangled · 25/10/2016 20:03

The cat won't play with toys. Nothing at all. But give him a cherry tomato and he bats it and pounces on it for ages Grin

WreckTangled · 25/10/2016 20:45

Also frugal win: our water dd has gone down by around £4 a month.

NeversellahouseCollie · 25/10/2016 20:47

We had a frugal win today. We wanted to get DS an electric toothbrush. Looked online for one aged 3+ and it was £27.99 or thereabouts. Popped into Sainsbury's for milk and walked past their clearance section -the same toothbrushes were there reduced from £30 something to just £10!! Halloween Grin amazing!!

And he loves it!

Tryingtosaveup · 25/10/2016 21:37

Love the nails Creme,
And you have come such a long way with catface Boobs. She looks gorgeous,
My DGCs went to the new Wonderlab exhibition at the science museum in London yesterday. Both say it was amazing. They were there all day and only did half of it. It as so good DD bought an annual family ticket. Those of you who like science and can get there have a look on the website.
Just 65p today was driving from DS' and was starving so stopped at Aldi for chocolate.

Cagliostro · 25/10/2016 22:24

Ooh glad to read that about the wonderlab! We want to go and would definitely get the annual pass as it seems like really good value and when we are nearby for the other museums etc we can just pop along and play. We want to go to the science museum in the next month as they have the reconstruction of Eric the robot on display and the kids saw him on telly :)

Fab frugal win today - one of DH's colleagues insisted on giving him some sports equipment for his club. Proper professional stuff Shock and point blank refused anything for them! How nice is that?!

Cag, if you go to Wonderlab, just check first that it isn't booked out for a school group because I know schools are booking it.
Going to London tomorrow. Might try and go before I come home again.

Cagliostro · 25/10/2016 23:34

Oh cool thanks will check that. Hoping to go with some other home ed friends - big school groups would be one to avoid as it just freaks DD out at the moment

AdoraBell · 25/10/2016 23:39

Love the nail colour creme

Had supermarket delivery today, £68-ish, also bought stuff on amazon but can't remember how much now.

need you are of course right, cost to use ratio Grin

Grin at your advent Calendar wreck, fingers crossed for your chocolate calendar Snuggly

Dog needs a trip to vet, no idea what that will cost.

mammymammyIRL · 26/10/2016 08:21

Our cats toys past few days have been little field mice who had made their home in the henfood (we haven't had hens for about a year now!) countrylife Halloween Shock

boobs your cat is fabulous
Frugal wins, cleaner is ill this week so €20 saved and dd has no school next week so €20 saved on bus and €7 on activites which is totally going to be wiped out on halloween discos and movies etc!! Halloween Grin

NeversellahouseCollie · 26/10/2016 08:29

Probably a NSD. DS has run out of multivitamins and they only sell them in the big Holland & Barret. We won't get a chance to buy them until Saturday.

I'm wondering if I should pack up a bit. Like books or something. We haven't exchanged contracts yet so I'm worried about jinxing it. I don't usually worry about "jinxing" and all that stuff - but I'm strangely paranoid about this! Grin

mammymammyIRL · 26/10/2016 08:30

What multivitamins do you use for him collie? Debating starting my two on something, the choice was so big at Sam McCauleys on Sunday I just didn't buy anything Smile
