Grin It's a whirlwind with DC's isn't it? Your nails look in good nic to me, but I know much less than Fluffy probably. The oil is good for feet too, and hard skin etc.

I like the saying 'what's for you won't pass you by'.

My buyer has just collected a Jack Wills hoody for £20, so that's pizzas for me and the DC tomorrow.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 14/10/2016 18:27

Hi all

Oh Collie Sad and Angry on your behalf. House buying is so stressful, at least your buyers still want to buy and I do think with housers there is a bit of 'if its meant to be....' Hope you can find something new and lovely really soon.

Need i am so Envy of lovely nails, being a nurse means my hands are complete old lady hands as they get washed about 50 times a day plus nail varnish isn't allowed and I bite my nails so they look shit anyway Wink

Snuggly get well soon.

I am trying to get dd on board to help more with chores but it doesn't seem to be happening Hmm at the moment the chores list goes 'I do everything every day plus fit in a full days work' Hmm the priorities are getting the washing sorted so we have clean clothes to wear and keeping the kitchen tidy. The bathroom and hoovering get down when I have time and they look a mess! Dusting doesn't get done very often Blush

It has been properly cold today Sad

CremeEggThief · 14/10/2016 18:29

Oh no, Collie, really sorry to hear that. I know they say everything happens for a reason, but right now, it must be so disappointingSad.

Beautiful, Need. I know we're not that far from each other. We are so lucky to have this scenery to take comfort in, aren't we?

Enjoy tomorrow, Mammy. Sounds hectic, but fun.

Another NSD here. Sainsburys delivery is coming later, but it won't come out until Monday. I'm expecting it to be around £45.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 14/10/2016 18:34

mammy the working parent guilt is shit isn't it, passing you some Wine Its hard of kids to understand that houses, bills, toys, clothes, food etc have to be paid for.

Wreck Shock at all that sick!! Hope you have a fab vomit free night out - some Wine for you as well!! Hope the poorly kids start to feel better soon.

Needastrongone · 14/10/2016 18:57

We are aren't we Creme? This place is 5 minutes from me, I go every day. It's so dog friendly and absolutely dead at the times I go so I have solitude. I was physically smiling during my walk today, so must have looked like a loon Smile.

Girlie With dogs and ponies and chickens, my hands get washed a lot. They are dry at present. A carnival sounds amazing. Your DD sounds a lot like mine, will have a go at anything!

I've cooked curry for tea, but Ocado sent me a free fresh organic curry sauce. Another frugal win as I've just used some chicken, mushrooms and some rice!

I'm MNing as DH has taken the dogs out, DS is at karate and DD is riding, sorry for multiple posts!

In other spends.

£4 karate for DS.
£29 for a text book for DD and a trip to see a play. Paid to ParentPay.

I've gone over my weekly budget but should be able to claw back next week.

British Gas came at 12.15, on a 12-6pm time slot and phoned first to check it was ok, another win. The guy was brilliant and replaced the whole sensor downstairs, serviced the boiler (It's still A rating) and gave me a carbon monoxide thing. I feel guilt for leaving them.

SnugglySnerd · 14/10/2016 19:02

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling a lot better but still tired and achy.
Had a lovely long bath with my book and finally got round to ordering some maternity jeans and tights which are desperately needed and in no way did I also buy 2 jumpers and a dress, that didn't happen I used my birthday money plus some money that my mum gave me for clothes and my cc was £18 in credit anyway so it wasn't that bad.
So sorry about the house Collie, I hope you find somewhere else soon that's even better.

NeversellahouseCollie · 14/10/2016 19:17

Thanks everyone! I feel strangely excited about finding a new house again.

girlie omg love the carnivals!! Hope she has fun

snuggly you'll enjoy your new clothes! I remember the only jeans that fitted me when I was pregnant made me look like Jeremy Clarkson. I had maternity jeans envy everyday! Haha! Get well soon too x

Just spent £20 in Sainsbos on a top up shop and some treats. We bloody deserve it. It was only hot chocolate sachet 30p, frozen croissants £1.25 and some tasty dinner. Very much deserved I think!

NeversellahouseCollie · 14/10/2016 19:18

girlie that was genuine excitement at remembering the carnivals BTW! I LOVED them! GrinGrin

Tryingtosaveup · 14/10/2016 19:19

Collie you will be in a much better position to buy as you will be a cash buyer. I sold up and moved out last year. I put the proceeds in the bank
( there is an exception to the usual upper limit that is protected when you sell a property and put the money in the bank)
I was then at an advantage because I could move quickly ( in both senses of that word) when I found somewhere.
I wanted this house and made a cash offer.
Other potential buyers had to wait for a sale to go through
So I got the house.
Honestly, it will work out for you. But I do know how stressful it can be.

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/10/2016 20:53

Oh dear collie. Could you rent for a bit too not lose the sale on yours and put your in a good buyer position?

£10 on breakfast for my team, end of a shit week.

I love living on the edge of the rolling country. Fabulous

AGenie · 14/10/2016 21:26

Collie I was thinking that too. It might be worth renting for a while so that you become a chain-free cash buyer. It means you can potentially negotiate the price of the house you're buying down a bit too so can save a lot of money.

I'm still sitting in the house spending no money and periodically cleaning things. Today I ate a steak and then fell asleep for a whole hour. thrilling life

Shesgotelectricboobs · 14/10/2016 22:38

...well if we're all posting pics of our nails...
these are mine.

And this. This is a baked Camembert. My dinner with my friend. Le super yum.

Spends today £29 nails (25% off today as my loyalty card finished). And £30 drinks and dinner (also had steak and frites and pepper sauce).

Tryingtosaveup · 14/10/2016 23:24

Will be spendy tomorrow though as going to market and taking friend out for a meal.

Nice nails! I never paint mine :)

mammymammyIRL · 15/10/2016 06:41

Frugal win, forgot jam jar for dd for ladybirds so was going home when her friends mom said she had one, we went back to hers & got talking about Halloween costumes & she pulled out a bag of them & ds got a Spider-Man one for nothing Smile

Spends yesterday £30 on amazon vouchers, €55.40 on $60 for two 30th birthday gifts of $30 each.

Trying is ikea an option for sanitary ware?

Electric nails are fab, dinner looks le yum Smilethis was mine it was le yum too when I finally had it at 8.30pm was rushing all evening so no time for dinner & followed it up with two pittas & butter I was so hungry & tired. And hangry Angry you know hungry & angry Smile in bed at 9.45 to mn & fell straight asleep.

Snuggly & collie I also had maternity jeans envy, then my friend had her baby 5 weeks early & passed me on two pairs of her fab maternity jeans Grin

Need you're loving Ocado aren't you? They seem to be very obliging
My nails are much improved now thanks to sally Hansen miracle cure, they were awful for peeling and breaking. I write a lot at work & the paper files down my right hand so nails on left are always nice & stronger. I will order sinful oil, postage is more than the oil Hmm will see if I can get some of the family stuff as well to get value from postage cost

mammymammyIRL · 15/10/2016 06:42

Had posted too many images Smile
Dinner was butternut squash soup & a toasted wholemeal bun

Ursulatodd · 15/10/2016 06:55
