I love that, Mammy.Star

Collieballs · 13/10/2016 16:56

Mammy I love it!

WreckTangled · 13/10/2016 17:08

Wow AGenie that's def not possible where I work.

Nsd. Have been at work so busy haven't had lunch am just at dd's swimming lessons. Made macaroni cheese earlier for Dh to heat up for dinner.

Shesgotelectricboobs · 13/10/2016 17:31

genie at my gps you book an appointment (standard is about 15mins). And if you run over you run over. They are good. They deal with you until you are finished.
When I switched GPS my new one gave me a full health mot. I was in there for over an hour.

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/10/2016 17:34

That is such bad service, was it the CEO you emailed?.

AGenie · 13/10/2016 17:42

Electric that's wonderful. I'm glad they look after you well there. I'm crossing my fingers that my GP visit will help. It's helping my stress levels a lot just knowing I'll have time to be listened to.

Wreck that's interesting to know that it can't be done at your place. I never know what can and can't be done in GP surgeries.

WreckTangled · 13/10/2016 18:11

Yep all appointments are ten minutes long and you can only have a double if the doctor ok'd it which we might have one a month.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 13/10/2016 18:35

Hi all Smile

Hush i twigged who you were after your first post and I am rubbish at name changers Grin

Interesting with the whole Tesco debacle, wondering if I should stock pile marmite?? Wink Its depressing but no surprise that everything is going to get more expensive, if I here one 'leaver' moan about it though I may explode......

So today has been a LSD in the end £3 to dd for various activities that are going on at her school to raise money for blind people and £2.50 on a naughty but nice sausage roll and drink for lunch (must stop doing this Blush)

I have never heard of an hour long GP appointment either.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 13/10/2016 18:36

hear not here

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/10/2016 18:41

There's shitloads of marmite in morrisons.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/10/2016 18:47

Thanks hush i will try both (maybe) and report back. I did guess you nc
creme - i love body combat and attack. need to be low impact for ow until physio signs me off and im missing it.
Welcome judd
genie ive always said i'm too short for my weight. an hour appointment is great.
I find fitness de-stresses me. I hate doing slow stuff as i catch switch my mind off. Does anyone get that going an a mind journey to a happy place - ive never been able to get that and hats off to people that do
have a lovely weekend away north

Wildernesstips · 13/10/2016 18:58

Welcome Judd

£3.90 groceries in M&S
£4 parking which I can claim back

Gained £4 from DS who I had forgotten owed it to me!

HushisLush · 13/10/2016 19:01

The Tesco debacle is over. They have reached an agreement. Two massive companies, who make vast profits, not prepared to reduce said profits just a smidge to absorb additional costs. Money makes the world go round....

Welcome Judd.

Me and you both life, I'm much better moving. I'm not feeling like doing Boxercise tonight, and I shouldn't after giving blood, but I will. And feel better for it. Apathy makes me worse.

£20 at the bloody vets for eye drops for the dog. I posted in Doghouse, and found out I could have used standard eye drops. Frugal fail. Epic.

I wasn't supposed to not be identifiable you know Smile

Collieballs · 13/10/2016 19:17

Awwww that's not fair! I wanted to panic buy biscuits.

Hello Judd :)

A very bad and stressful day here. Legal fuck ups could cost us £3400.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/10/2016 20:05

I totally missed the tesco / Unilever fuss
Oh no collie, that's a lot of stress

Tryingtosaveup · 13/10/2016 20:22

Collie, that's terrible, hope it gets sorted.
North enjoy your weekend. Hawks head will be lovely. And don't keep ringing up about the DCs like my kids do when I am minding the DGCs
Agenie, an hour, that's unheard off. Are you secretly someone high up in the NHS?
I don't blame you stocking up.even though it is resolved now the prices will go up. I try to grow veggies and I knit. I find knitting relaxing.
I used to run a lot ( several marathons) but I have a calcium disorder so had to stop. It is the best thing ever for endorphins and the feel good thing. And you get fit.
I think some of the unscrupulous people will try to put food prices up and use the low £ as an excuse. Bastards!
I am just a bit autistic and find some social situations difficult. I do need time on my own to sort my head out.
So this thread is great. I get to be sociable and chat....while alone. Perfect.
LSD £1 for cup of tea with friends.
Just seen the prices for " sanitary wear " for the cloakroom and bathrooms. Scary!
I'll never save that much no matter how I try.

SnugglySnerd · 13/10/2016 20:49

Ouch, Collie! What happened?
I love the autumn window, Mammy.
I managed to only spend 55p today. Yay!
We are down to our last 2 nappies though so will have to call in at the supermarket tomorrow.
Have a banging headache but want to stay awake for The Apprentice.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/10/2016 21:12

£19 in Morrison's today but they have a lot of clothes reduced. Their kids clothes are decent

HushisLush · 13/10/2016 21:20

Hope you have a lovely weekend North.

Hope you feel better soon Snuggly.

£5 Boxercise. I did not faint.

What's happened Collie?

I've done 6 marathons Trying! I love that you can train alone or with company. Running through woods on a crisp day, you and nature. Bliss.

Collieballs · 13/10/2016 21:34

I don't even know where to start! Standard house selling bollocks. Sad if I vanish it's because I'm mega stressed out.

AGenie · 13/10/2016 21:34

Trying LOL! No, it's just that ds consistently only gets about 70% attendance at school because of viruses and chest infections, so the welfare officer made sure people listened. Nobody ever listens to me but apparently when the welfare officer speaks, people listen. God bless the man.

My MN is being weird 😫

Will attempt to catch up tomorrow but then will be offline for a bit as we are off to Hastings for DH to do his run and do some home ed stuff (although won't be attending the battle anniversary stuff as it's going to be packed)

I'm pondering paying $18 for my blog to have a proper domain but the exchange rate... hmm

AGenie · 13/10/2016 21:46

Oooo! Cag I have a blog and a proper domain. I'm not sure it's any use tbh. I just use a blogger site, but perhaps I'm missing something.
