It hurts my hip (old gimmer) and it smells like air freshener which makes me feel sick. It always takes a while for me to get used to driving a different car though and I'm not ungrateful that they've lent it to me Smile

Pointlessfan · 06/03/2016 12:43

Does it bounce wreck?!
Happy mothers day y'all!
I'm absolutely knackered! Have helped DD make 3 cards for her nans who are coming round in a bit and I've been cooking a roast. Have had to sit down for a break as my knees are swelling up from standing so long.

fuzzpig · 06/03/2016 12:45

Oh I know that I was only joking as it's a BMW! :o I don't like air freshener either

bootygirl · 06/03/2016 14:10

I really need to go on a spending ban had a really expensive week. I am also finding having 2 teens expensive & they are nt demanding kids!

I am trying to keep the grocery bill to €600 per month (that includes €160 school lunches). Gluten free is expensive.

Tatyo it's really annoying I have avoided some of the collections.

I wanted a fake leather jacket it was €85 but I got it for €35!!! So that was my present for MD!

Teeth are starting to improve since I started wearing mouth guard Wednesday (not used to it yet though).

I bought two cards for mil & mum. Dh was looking at them. "Did you read them?" "Of course I did!!"
It says happy mothers day To A Mother To Be!! They are 65 & 75yrs old 😳😳😳 he got his mum another one!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 06/03/2016 15:00

Grin booty oops!!

We are just back from a lovely mothers day lunch at a local pub, my mum and I split the bill which was £20 each and a couple of quid tip. Was very nice food.

supermariossister · 06/03/2016 15:04

God I miss my mum today, think it's the overflow of happy photos and statuses but in a way they make me happy too, people should treasure their mums and make them feel special. Had a wobbly day where the smallest things have upset me but something lovely did happen my scs mum wrote a post about her partner and me thanking us for our role in the kids lives and how lucky they are to have us, we have come along way in seven years and I'm lucky that she is happy for us and us for them.

babsmam · 06/03/2016 15:33

£15 in m and s. Didn't need to spend £4 on a magazine but I did.
£65 on lunch for 4 adults 2 dc. Joint mother's day and fil birthday.
Home now. DVD time

CremeEggThief · 06/03/2016 15:38

Flowers for Supermariossister and anyone else thinking of loved ones no longer with us today.

My "free" electricity has finally run out. I got the £140 warm homes discount plus the £12 from Eon on the 15th October and it's lasted til the 6th March, which I think is really good, especially as I am on a pre-payment meter.

I've painted the kitchen (second coat); washed up; stripped, changed, washed, dried and put away my bedding. I'm now on the sofa with a cuppa, where I plan on staying for the rest of the day. Already looking forward to Indian takeaway later. Smile

£15. Young man came To the door selling his drawings. He's deaf and needs funding for college. So that's DH's present for our aniversario in June sorted. It's a perfect drawing for his taste.

Happy Mother's day everyone Thanks

I'm sorry you have had a rough day Super but glad that lovely post cheered you up.

Oops booty BIL once bought DH a birthday card; To The Birthday Girl, and didn't notice úntil DH opened it.

It would apear that Mother's day chez Adora is happening in a Few weeks Hmm we are spending Easter in Chile with DH so DDs plan that we'll go To my favorito restaurante which happens To be in Santiago. I'm not sure if DH has been told yet Grin

WreckTangled · 06/03/2016 15:42

Aww super Thanks must be really hard for you.

We've been for a walk/bike ride/scoot and are now home. dd has just wet herself Hmm in the bathroom and it's gone all over her ankle braces.

Dinner will be bacon, feta and pea risotto.

I'm getting used to the car a bit. Only stalled it twice this time.

WreckTangled · 06/03/2016 15:51

Easter in Chile sounds lovely Adora

Busy day Creme

I always have my music pumping and smoke my spliff's when I drive my BMW Grin

Ememem84 · 06/03/2016 16:38

Freezing here. Not sure if I'm coming down with Dhs cold or whether it's the weather. Heating is back on.

Should make another £8 on eBay today.

WreckTangled · 06/03/2016 16:53

Grin I can just imagine it need! It's a 2003 3 series if you google you'll know what I mean! Haha definitely nothing exciting poor dh, I just got them out of the tumble drier to find said hole. They say you can tumble them too Hmm

AdoraBell · 06/03/2016 18:03

I'm sure it will be need but after relocating and moving again in the last year I'm thinking "travelling, again? " it feels like I haven't stopped and now I have to get cases out of the loft and pack again.

I test drove the previous generation 3 series coupe while I was living over thereGrin now that's a car that feels stuck to the road Grin

DH is going to have a hefty vet/kennel bill. One of the dogs still in Chile has ulcers on his eyes. Vet has been treating him.

Wreck if you have the receipt take them back.

WreckTangled · 06/03/2016 18:19

I don't have the receipt but I'm going to go in anyway I only want to swap...

Colliefeatures · 06/03/2016 18:49

It has been a quiet day here. Went to the beach and built sand castles. Then stopped at Asda and spent £1.57.

I've eating a lot of chocolate today though! Blush

Cottage pie for tea.

Ememem84 · 06/03/2016 19:00

Interesting day today dinner wise.

Dh made a cake with stewed apple and sponge on top. And I made salmon lemon pea pasta with cream cheese. Used tinned salmon for the first time. Worked.

I need to see whether it's more cost effective to buy tinned for things like pasta.

bootygirl · 06/03/2016 19:59

Ah Super it's hard Hun 💐

CremeEggThief · 06/03/2016 19:59

£16 for our Indian takeaway and worth every penny. DS got me truffles AND Lindt Swiss chocolates, so I'm sorted for chocolate for a couple of days a while.Smile

OP posts:
supermariossister · 06/03/2016 20:03

The day is nearly over at least eh, I have some chocolate from the dc that I never buy myself as it's expensive so I shall keep it until I have an awful day. Dp is home now so at least I'm less alone with my thoughts.

fuzzpig · 06/03/2016 21:46

I'm not sure I'll ever get the image of a spliffed up need or wreck out of my head now :o

Had a nice day, didn't go anywhere so only Tesco delivery paid for. Had a lovely roast and cake. Played games and watched cartoons (my choice :o DCs now initiated into the wonderful world of Avatar - the last airbender cartoons that is, not the crappy film about blue people)

Not sure when to build my Lego - sorted out a lovely display shelf last week but there's no room left on it!

Got lots of nice fruit with the delivery, never lasts long though so have told the DCs they can make a fruit salad with it tomorrow. Stops it going to waste. Although DD asked if she can keep some of the blackberries to make perfume. I want to plan the next week too, as we'll kind of have a week off when we go away so I don't really want to leave projects unfinished when we go.

I just realised I forgot my tablets again. 'Nother late night for me then.

Sent DH to bed early as he could barely keep his eyes open. I think he's finally 'letting' everything catch up with him. Just want the next week to be over with!

I'm staying down here and finishing the cake Blush and watching the rest of Princess Mononoke. Boy do I know how to party :)

lilacclery · 07/03/2016 06:08

Grr lost my post late last night
