LSD, just £1 on a sandwich! Bit annoyed with DH as heating has been on all day but we have had loads of washing to dry, that has been partially dried outside.

Ememem84 · 19/10/2015 18:24

fluffy just did the mortgage calculator.
We would save £76k in interest and it would be repaid 5 years early.

Holy shit!!!

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/10/2015 18:58

Did you blank out the £200 month recurring overpayment?.

Ememem84 · 19/10/2015 19:04

Yep....

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/10/2015 19:10

Flipping heck. I bet that's solved that dilemma hasn't it?.

Spotty Painted walls or wallpaper?.

SpottyTeacakes · 19/10/2015 19:12

Painted. I've got a magic sponge so that'll work it takes the paint off too though...

fuzzpig · 19/10/2015 19:13

Oh well saved some money by giving Beavers a miss, feeling like Rubbish Mum of the Year right now as DS is really upset. He was supposed to be getting invested or whatever it's called. Bus didn't show up and I just gave up waiting as not well enough to make more of an effort, I just want to sleep. DH still isn't home from work but as soon as he is I'm going to bed.

Yep. Dilemma solved. Now to tell dh that's what we're doing. He was wavering. I doubt he'll be after I show him the results.

Spends today -

£11 eBay postage.
£4 on biscuits and a lottery ticket.
£0.38p in m&s on fruit (Bill was £8.something but had the remainder of a voucher to use)

blueteapot · 19/10/2015 19:29

Em 76k!! Decison decided lol.

Electrolux you are doing well, hang in there! Glad you got your PIP sorted eventually :)

Spent 5.20 at shop this morning and gardener charged 20 quid for hid work today and the 10 we owed him for the grass last time. Worth every penny as its now a lot tidier and that should be the last time pre-winter.

lol that we are pretty much all pear shaped bar one lampost ;)

Lovetoknit · 19/10/2015 19:29

spotty you could try WD40, I know it works on crayons and doesn't damage the paint
get well soon fuzzpig Flowers

babsmam · 19/10/2015 19:31

Oh no spotty and fuzz. Poor you guys and dc.

fuzzpig · 19/10/2015 19:34

Thanks Thanks sorry for rant Blush have let it get on top of me today. Nothing planned tomorrow thankfully so will take it easy :)

Spotty hope the headache disappears soon!

SpottyTeacakes · 19/10/2015 19:41

Thanks fuzz! I hope you feel better too parental guilt is awful. I'm about to go to bed. Seven hours, ibuprofen and two 30/500 co-codamol and I've still got a headache. Hoping to sleep it off.

I can't believe how much a £25k payment would save in interest! Seems a no brainer to me! (Disclaimer: I know nothing about mortgages)

babsmam · 19/10/2015 19:41

Don't worry fuzz. Maybe have a word with a leader could someone pick ds up on days like this. We try in out troupe to help out with lifts. You are not a rubbish parent. Rubbish parents don't care Flowers

Spotty is it washable ink. Sometimes stamp kits are?

76k would swing it for me.

babsmam · 19/10/2015 19:43

Sleep well spotty

CremeEggThief · 19/10/2015 19:53

I can't keep up either!
Fuzz, of course you're not a rubbish mum. My bus didn't show up either tonight, so I ended up missing my Pilates class, that I'd already paid £7 in advanceAngry. I am going to email the bus company to complain, on principle actually. I don't expect anything will come of it, but I am really cross.

Sleep well, Spotty. Tomorrow's another day.

What a massive saving, Em! DH on board now?Smile

Spotty and Fuzz hope you feel better soon Flowers hopefully a good nights sleep all thats needed.

Picked up the free bike that my friend has given me for dd, looks great but going to need some work, new tyre and service for a start - hopefully won't turn into an expensive free bike Wink

Pointlessfan · 19/10/2015 21:18

Does anyone know anything about this new energy company? I think it's called Ovo? They say they have award -winning customer service which appeals as every energy company I've ever used has pissed me off!
Hope you feel better tomorrow spotty, I'm off to bed too, books are marked!
Don't worry fuzz these things happen.

Whatabout · 19/10/2015 21:21

I heard on the radio that everyone is getting smart meters from the gas and electricity companies. Anyone know anything about it?

I looked through our online banking and I've been spending so much. Have to stop it all. It's all justifiable but that doesn't mean we can afford it.

needastrongone · 19/10/2015 21:29

pointless I'm in the same boat, using a new company called Green Star. Found on the MSE fuel website. I know nothing about their customer service either.
