Oops sorry spotty. Blush

AuditAngel · 03/07/2015 16:41

Peppa we are meant to be spending the weekend in Athens, until DH flies over, then going to a seaside town about 45 minutes away called Legrena.

DH's cousin (whose houses they are) is really worried about us going. Problem is, if she doesn't want to go, then we can't put pressure on her.

My boss had a brainwave though, could drive / Eurostar to Spain for much less. Depending on day of travel could be £220 or less, would need hotel for one night each way plus fuel. This would also avoid the need to hire a car. Might need a roof box if cousin comes both ways in car, DH would fly out drive back with us.

Oh well, wait for the referendum.........

Blimey Collie that's crazy!

I have a surplus of veg - any ideas for spring onions and beetroot? Can either be frozen?

girliefriend · 03/07/2015 19:43

Just relaxing after a really busy day!

Reckon spent £8 ish at the school fete however did get a few bits n bobs for that plus that included hotdog dinner for me and dd! Made quite a bit on the book stall so thats good!! Completely knackered now though and working tomos - ugh Sad

Dd has been invited to two parties within 2 days of each other!! Will have to pop into town on Sunday to get some pressies I guess...

AuditAngel · 03/07/2015 20:55

£4.59 for lunch.

Just had a call from Virgin, they have added the movies package, given us 1000 minutes each month to use for mobile/international and non geographic numbers AND saved me £1 a month! I told the guy he was my best friend today Grin

Am considering a new mobile (which I really need as mine is old, the Internet never works, it has started turning itself off) thinking about an iPhone 5c, which would later become DS's. £20 a month, rather than £10 sim only I currently have.

Peppa if there's a rash they'll give antibiotics I assume? At least you've noticed it.

We've just got back from the beach. It's the best beach Smile (Witterings for anyone our way). Bil treated us to dinner.

Peppapissinpig · 03/07/2015 23:37

Thanks all. Only reason the unusual rash made me think was because someone posted a photo on FB many months ago and it must have jogged my memory.

Ended up seeing a totally useless nurse in the end who didn't even understand basic biology of ticks or humans(!) so will be taking DD to A&E tomorrow just to put mind at rest.

Peppapissinpig · 03/07/2015 23:41

Too many 'ends'!

Must go to bed

diggerdigsdogs · 04/07/2015 00:53

oh dear Peppa that's no good.

$75 on gas bottles yesterday. We're on our farm and they're all we have to cook and heat water for showers so that's that, had to be done. need to investigate bigger bottles/cheaper options.

$3.35 on downloading and printing a letter for my Aussie visa.

$25 top up shop

AdoraBell · 04/07/2015 02:37

Spent about £3 on roads and 80p on 5 minutes in the airport car park. DH's flight was early and traffic was horrendous so I was late. Air's bad again, I didn't expect to encounter heavy traffic as most vehicles should not have been there. DH bought lunch out.

Tomorrow we have to go into town to pick up from his office. I may have lost my banco cardConfused I took out cash for Pilates on Wednesday and yesterday I went to use but it's not in my bagHmm have been too tired to look properly.

babsmam · 04/07/2015 07:51

Hope your dd gets sorted today peppa .
Spent £9 on takeout at a friends house last night and had a go in her hot tub. Fab time with pals. She bough beers so all good.

Peppapissinpig · 04/07/2015 08:13

SpottyTeacakes · 04/07/2015 16:23

They're already in the bin!

Peppapissinpig · 04/07/2015 17:51

Totally knackered, DH has been working all day so I've had to deal with medical emergencies and both DCs on my own.

Bollocks to the budget it's wine and takeaway tonight ????

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/07/2015 17:58

£107 paint and stuff in the decorators centre.

Did A+E sort you out Peppa? I'd want wine and a takeaway after being in a hospital from 7am.

JamHoneyMarmite · 04/07/2015 19:23

Hope your DD is OK Peppa?

Low spend day - 3 pounds at church fete. That nabbed us a toy digger, five books, some yellow beads DD fell in love with, and a couple of fairy cakes. Also filled the afternoon nicely so I was happy with that!

girliefriend · 04/07/2015 19:45

Oh dear Peppa sounds stressful!

I have been working all day, really busy and hot. Came home to a kitchen full of flying ants Sad def the worse thing about the summer for me.

However have managed a NSD Smile think tomos may end up spendy as need to get dd some proper horse riding boots and my friend has asked for her back brace thingy back so may get one of those as well. Going to have a look in Go Outdoors as they have a sale on Grin
