Collie thanks it was a truly mad day, I was so cold as well. I did seem to get through the interview with some degree of calm though Grin

Heading into town for last xmas gifts. Have got to ring bank as they have not reversed some of the charges they said they would so will do that asap.

Not much to get today though apart from that will get stuck into some making things today and tomorrow and on Friday I have the nativity and shopping for Christmas food with DH who always gets excited at snacks (his eyes are definitely bigger than his belly Grin)!

lilacclery · 10/12/2014 10:54

sportinguista the one positive to dh working such long hours is he doesn't influence the grocery shopping or christmas present shopping Xmas GrinGrinXmas Grin

SpottyTeacakes · 10/12/2014 14:22

Passthecake30 · 10/12/2014 14:30

Another £22 on travel and parking saved. Bought a xmas present off amazon, keep finding more to buy for! What do you all do for beaver leaders and swimming teachers?

Another nsd Grin 5 in a row!

All going out the window tomos though when I finally hit the shops!!

574ejones · 10/12/2014 18:29

£17 on batteries, stamps and £4 on lunch. Stamps are ridiculously expensive, next year it will be e-cards Wink! Is it me or is this week going very slowly?

Tomorrow I need ingredients for DS cookery - who puts tomatoes in sausage rolls?!

SpottyTeacakes · 10/12/2014 18:42

574ejones are they trying to put a healthy spin on it?!

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/12/2014 18:53

Won't the tomato leak through the pastry during cooking Confused

£350 holiday balance for Christmas.
£3.85 contact lense fluid.
£1 coconut macaroons. Eaten 5 of them. I can literally feel the spots coming out on my chin.

If anyone else has the tesco orchard coupons for party food, I emailed to ask if I could combine with the 3 for 2 offer and they said they couldn't see why not so it should be £4ish for 3 packs of party nibbles.

Hi all
Sorry for being off for so long Sad and thank you for a Christmas thread.
Some might remember that friends boy is very ill. Unfortunately it has gone very downhill which is also a reason why I haven't had time to be online. He I currently in a coma, kept alive by machines. His state is some days positive and then a lot of days negative. But its soon Christmas so shouldn't bother you ladies with all the sad news..
I will try my best to report spendings and hopefully non spendings most...

babsmam · 10/12/2014 21:15

Thinking of you and your pal Italian. That's rubbish :)

babsmam · 10/12/2014 21:16

CremeEggThief · 10/12/2014 21:31

Spendy day today, as I went out for lunch with a friend. £6.40 for that, in an M&S cafe. Then almost £12 on 2 sets of fairy lights and a candle lighter in Homebase and £8.97 on a kitchen bin, two packs of batteries (for the lights) and a roll of wrapping paper. Oh and £5 for a chippy tea. So, £32.something altogether.

sportinguista · 11/12/2014 05:49

Still got to shop for S and BIL as totally failed to get anything yesterday, other than that should be pretty much a LSD. Feeling quite optimistic as will get some cash through soon and hopefully a peaceful Christmas...

Italian Sad and Flowers for you and your friend, it reminds us all to be grateful for what we have. My thoughts are with the boy and hopefully he will pull through...

OhForFoxSakeYouJingleMyBaubles · 11/12/2014 06:55
