Leggings & socks? It's like a clothing krypton factor.

AdoraBell · 14/11/2014 21:18

Badvoc I restrict myself To MN when tending a sick DC, it's much cheaperWink hope your DD is better soon.

Girlie hope you are better soon too and horray for lovely rellies.

I'm waiting for DDs to return from volley ball. Match was at the coast so 3-ish hour drive. T'is too hot To wait outside school - 32C- so I'm in Starbucks Blush £2.75.

Need chicken and salad for dinner so that will be around £6/7.

Tomorrow we're shopping for clothes for our "summer" holiday. We're going To the UK at the end of December.

MissA hope all goes smoothly now and you don't have To wait long.

Jones have you recently started a new Job? Good choice not pushing yourself when already tired. Rest and take it as easy as poss over the weekend.

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 14/11/2014 21:22

Woo-boo had the line fitted at last, it is horrid and uncomfortable and weird BUT I am allowed to drink whatever I like, so not totally NBM which is great, I've been enjoying some orange squash and Lewis on ITV Grin

He even said I can try eating something very light but NOT if it causes pain and not for a while. DH has gone out in the car to get me some boiled sweets to suck on.

His boss sent him home early so he could visit me, then he got his first ever flat tyre on the way here! Sod's law!

THANK YOU ALL so, so much for your kind messages, it has helped me so much. Thanks can't wait till I can raise a Wine to you lovely lot.

I was thinking leggings fluffy. Tights will be slippery in the hall surely?

AdoraBell · 14/11/2014 21:25

Yes To Leggings, do any of the cheap store a have T's, or a pyjama top if you can find Plain ones?

I bought a supermarket night dress for DD2 when I couldn't find a long T.

SpottyTeacakes · 14/11/2014 21:27

I reckon I can get a cheap fruit of the loom one in eBay?

MissA glad you're starting to feel a bit better. Dd used to go to nursery with billie piper and Laurence fox's son. He's arrogant.

Adora whereabouts are you coming for your holiday? Brrrr Wink

Singmetosleepzzz · 14/11/2014 21:32

MissA, at long last! The first step.

girliefriend · 14/11/2014 21:49

AuditAngel · 14/11/2014 22:15

I have a star outfit that DD1 wore for Nativity. (Would need to find the hat), she wore white tights and a long sleeved white t-shirt beneath it. Shall I hunt fir the hag and post to you? I would need it back after Christmas in case DD2 is a star next year though.

AuditAngel · 14/11/2014 22:16

I really should preview my posts. Hunt for the hat.....

CoolCadbury · 14/11/2014 23:09

missA Flowers keeping my fingers crossed for you.

MazzleDazzle · 14/11/2014 23:26

Uurgh, had a rotten day. DH still away, so juggling work and 2 DC is a bit tough. The youngest still wakes through the night and my job is stressful. Was driving home in the dark tonight with the 2 tired and hungry kids when my car tyre burst!

Had to abandon the car and walk the rest of the way. I'm fairly good with my hands, but it's a huge off-roader! I'll never manage to change it on my own. Thankfully my friends DP is coming round tomorrow to help. Hopefully the tyre can be repaired!

Today's spend: £35 on a top-up food shop in lidl and £14 for lunch in Costa with work friends.

Going to try a NSD tomorrow. I've managed to tactically avoid an Enjo party!

574ejones · 15/11/2014 06:49

mazzle sorry you have had such a rough day.

Yes, I do like my new job but there is a lot to get my head around. Much better than being home! My DH is away on and off for the next two weeks and I was beginning to panic about getting everything done. But now I am home this weekend, I feel more relaxed.

I am so glad my two are too old for nativities, I used to dread finding out what outfit I would have to cobble together.

SpottyTeacakes · 15/11/2014 06:52

Audit that's really kind but I don't think they want them in star costumes?

Girlie thanks Grin asda ones too big but the amazon leggings are good! I just want it sorted before the wedding and honeymoon etc.

HearMyRoar · 15/11/2014 06:54

Oh mazzle what wretched luck! I'm glad you got home safe and sound though, that's the main thing :)

lilacclery · 15/11/2014 06:54

This weekend is about to prove very spendy we need to buy a van for dh as au pair is coming Mon week & she will have use of his then.
Most are around €2750 but found a beauty for €1400 so going to see that Sunday. Going to take money from kids savings & replace rather than borrow more money.

Out for a party tonight but won't drink much as its 2.5 hours drive each way to see van.

Had a Tesco online voucher to be used on or bef Nov 14th so did a shop thurs morn as I had mid week delivery saver & missed checkout deadline so processed order instead for yesterday, they removed the €5 voucher because it had expired! Have emailed them to get it processed.
Did well with my shop, lots of bargains & included blades for dh Shock at price of them. €87.50 including delivery so €82.50 when voucher is applied. No need to visit butcher as we have enough to cover weeks dinners between shopping & freezer. Spent €20 on top up shopping earlier in the week but still saving €40 on shopping budget, this will cover tonight's babysitter.

missa I cannot believe it has come to this stage with you but at last you're finally being looked after.

mazzle hope today will be a better day for you.

This thread is moving too fast apologies to everyone I have responded to that deserve a response!

SpottyTeacakes · 15/11/2014 07:25

Mazzle poor you! Glad you got home ok. At least it's the weekend!

TheOnlyMrsW · 15/11/2014 07:46

Just a quick one nnd then will have a proper catch-up later, been hideously busy at work this week...........missa so hope that this will be the end of this for you. £43 petrol Weds, NSD Thurs, £5 various CIN things at work yesterday.

Badvocinapeartree · 15/11/2014 07:52

Missa...really hoping this is the start of a cure for you x
Well, no party for me tonight :(
I bought a dress too...but that can go back.
Still feel rubbish. Hoping ds2 is better today...he was asleep before 8pm...unheard of!!
Just so glad Dh is back!

CoolCadbury · 15/11/2014 07:56

Just under £4 yesterday for dinner last night from Morrisons. Couldn't face cooking.

RobinEllacott · 15/11/2014 07:59

NSD yesterday. It was otherwise grim, though - I thought I was going to drown on the way to work, and then had to go straight out to an off-site meeting and had to sit through the meeting with wet feet.
