If you could go back in time, would you still get the jab?

If you could go back in time, would you still get the Covid jab?

I don’t really care if you’re vaccinated or not, but I’m interested if people would go back and change their decision?

OP posts:
schnauzerbeard · 30/01/2023 16:34

No, I wouldn't. I only had one and regret it.

MinkyGreen · 30/01/2023 17:09

@xenia - so if you don’t like paying taxes in the UK- where is this global utopian haven where no government bothers with the vaccine?

sunglassesonthetable · 30/01/2023 18:22

Always about the taxes @Xenia.

@PartiallySage

You’ve named 2 doctors who are highly discredited for spreading Covid misinformation.

I think most people are fully aware that discredited doctors are out there.

And I think most people are able to apply some critical thinking and realise that : if 99.5% of doctors are saying one thing - and 0.5% of doctors are saying another : it’s highly likely that the 99.5% are right, it’s far safer to listen to them - and to listen to the global guidelines. Especially when the 0.5% you are advocating choose to appear on celebrity rubbish like the Joe Rogan Experience promoting conspiracy theories. I would have thought an ‘eminent’ doctor would have better things to do with their time. Very lucrative the health misinformation business.

DemiColon · 31/01/2023 07:04

I'm not sure.

My main reason for getting it was the hope it would prevent transmission and so help with reducing other measures, which we now know was over-hyped as a possibility with zero evidence.

And there is now more evidence that it may have some significant side effects while not being that useful in my age category.

So I'd say I'd be less likely to get it.

Except that I'd have been put on leave for my job which I couldn't afford. So there's that.

statementstate · 31/01/2023 08:42

@MinkyGreen your level of delusion is stifling. You are so heavily indoctrinated that you are the one who lacks critical thinking. You can’t possibly fathom and other reality aside from the one that has been spoon fed to you since you were born. God forbid that you have to unlearn everything you think you know, but of course, that’s inconceivable. And you can find all the statistic to enforce your beliefs. The majority are like you, and that’s how society functions so well without anarchy. The masses have to be controlled or we cease to exist as civilised nations. How do you think the 1% exists? Because the rest of us morons allow it to, and people like you are doing the bidding of those who are control, like a good little compliant foot solider who is convinced that those in power give two hoots about your betterment.
I was like you, and I wouldn’t hear otherwise until the pandemic and subsequent vaccine coercion. The vast majority of us don’t need a vaccine for Covid19. It was never a necessity. You have no idea of the percentage of medical professionals who now oppose the whole program, but keep allowing your fear to convince yourself of this meagre 0.5% who must be wrong, because evidently that’s what helps you sleep at night. For now.

sunglassesonthetable · 31/01/2023 08:51

@PartiallySage

Have the people you know in the cluster that had bad reactions to the vaccine reported it ? Made it known to the scientific community? Had it confirmed by medical professionals? You never said?

Which kind of puts that anecdote in its place.

" also aggressive development of cancer"
as "many" doctors have noted.

Seriously? 🤔 Have any credible doctors noted that? Ever. ? So tedious.

And you do? What a steaming pile of absolute blathering idiocy this is.

Marmunia10661975 · 31/01/2023 10:04

It's amazing how other people's health and decisions to not have some random shit injected into them can cause absolute outrage. There seems to be a lot of buyers' remorse.

And for people who trot out the line, 'So glad to have been vaccinated x number of times. Could have been a lot worse if I hadn't got jabbed!!'

You don't know that - you will never know that. All unvaccinated people I know are perfectly fine after Covid. I'd rather have Covid than a head cold any day. A head cold lasts longer!

This is one of the amusing - and most saddening at the same time - posts I've ever read re: Covid.

No buyer's remorse here and I'm not sure why you think I would give the smallest shit about your decision to not get vaccinated. I think it would be nice if you were smarter and had more of a social conscience, but not much I can do about that.

All unvaccinated people I know are perfectly fine after Covid

Ah, yes, the anti-vaccine crew are such amazing statistical anomalies, they really should be studied en masse. All the unvaxxed people they know sailed through Covid and most of the vaxxed ones either dropped dead in the vaccination room or are bedbound with crippling vaccine injuries. Amazing how different your circles are from those of most people.

Again, would you mind answering this?
Since doctors are the ones who would see, on a daily basis, all these vaccine injured patients, how do you explain that they are overwhelmingly choosing vaccination and boosters for themselves and their families?

@statementstate Can you answer that? Thanks!

I've got buyers remorse from these boots I'm wearing. They're probably a size too small. Should have checked.

The vaccine ? 😆 Not much even on this tiny thread.

Some unvaccinated people I know are dead.

But 'outraged' you don't want it? No.

Talking crap. Very irritated yes.

itwasntmetho · 31/01/2023 10:26

The social conscience thing is bollox, the vaccine doesn't prevent transmission.
It's a personal decision and none of your fucking business.

LISTEN UP SHEEPLE. 😂

Mummyford · 31/01/2023 10:35

Yes, I've seen that before.

It's a very small sample, but 1 in 10 still leaves the overwhelming majority choosing vaccination. The article makes a couple of interesting points, however, on political ideology and a lack of training on vaccines and vaccinology in medical school, playing into it.

How do you explain that 9 out of every 10 feel it's safe enough to take it for themselves and their families?

This is incorrect @statementstate

We have huge amounts of data - replicated from independent studies, data sources and groups (i.e., nothing to do with "big pharam") that show how beneficial the primary course of vaccines were.

This is true even for younger age groups.

I'm not saying this because I'm "indoctrinated", I'm saying it because the evidence is literally out there to be read with your own eyes.

You have no idea of the percentage of medical professionals who now oppose the whole program,
There genuinely is no-one credible who thinks offering vaccination to the general population was a mistake - when you you follow their claims, they aren't based on any kind of evidence. Most are using the pandemic to profit.

If any of this became untrue, and there was evidence showing it was all a huge mistake, I would say so.
