Have you all had a booster jab?

I’ve had two vaccines but no booster.
Are there a lot of us around?
Are more boosters expected to be rolled out? Or is that it now?

OP posts:
daisypond · 11/02/2022 05:37

Yes, boosted.

brio4ever · 11/02/2022 05:41

Boosted, very glad to be. In my 30s, some medical conditions but nothing on official 'vulnerable' list. Was admitted to hospital yesterday with chest pain, high heart rate and coughing up blood, 2 weeks after completing isolation for covid.

SquirrelG · 11/02/2022 05:42

Boosted in December (in NZ)

ExhaustedMumma · 11/02/2022 06:46

Yep, boosted mid December. Got Covid mid Jan and it was fairly mild.

ThirdElephant · 11/02/2022 06:48

Boosted. Then had COVID a month later- very mild, pretty much asymptomatic.

My friend had it at the same time having only had two jabs and found it pretty tough going. Another friend had it over Christmas having had two jabs and was off for five weeks and is still struggling now with long COVID.

I'd have the booster, OP, if I were you.

bangaverage · 11/02/2022 06:55

Boosted. Will have further boosters if offered. Why wouldn't you?

miltonj · 11/02/2022 07:06

Not boosted. Pregnant and in the country I live in the health minister recommends waiting until 20 weeks. Which puts me of getting it altogether really. Problem is, you need the booster to be able to enter shops, restaurants, cafes, any where really other than pharmacies and supermarkets. Not even your place of work in a lot of instances. It's criminal.

AngieBolen · 11/02/2022 07:07

Yes I'm boosted. I nearly delayed it as I had Covid in the Autumn. My colleague told me recently she has delayed it because she's had Covid twice and wanted to leave it 3 months after her last infection. She now has it for a third time. I have responsibilities to elderly relatives which mean I can't get it right now, so I'm glad I'm boosted. I appreciate it means I'll be more vulnerable later in the year when it starts to wane.

Icequeen01 · 11/02/2022 07:10

Boosted along with my DH, DS22 and 82 year old DM. All 17 of my work colleagues are also boosted.

MrsMigginsCat · 11/02/2022 07:11

Double vaxxed, boosted and just been offered a 4th due to an underlying health condition which I had no idea would make me eligible. Can't decide whether to have another one though. 4 in 9 months seems a bit much.

RG2468 · 11/02/2022 07:24

Boosted then had Covid - am CEV. I’ve had worse colds. Guess I’m boosted again now after having Covid.

Rememberallball · 11/02/2022 07:25

3x primary doses had (additional primary dose due to underlying medical conditions/current medication combinations) and just received letter inviting me to book 4th/booster dose at end of month. About to move house so will book once settl d into new home.

Chipstick10 · 11/02/2022 07:25

No. Haven’t had the first two

Blueberry40 · 11/02/2022 07:29

Double vaccinated and boosted here. Am sure I would have had covid by now if it wasn’t for this.

MrsDThomas · 11/02/2022 07:47

No

Absolutely no intention to

Sarcobaleno · 11/02/2022 07:50

Boosted. And completely fed up with non boosted colleagues having to isolate and making my job harder.

GeneLovesJezebel · 11/02/2022 07:52

Yes, boosted.

FrecklesMalone · 11/02/2022 07:53

Boosted and very pleased. Had covid twice pre vaccine was terribly ill for about 5 weeks. Post vaccine I'll for about 4 days (probably Delta).

Chocoqueen · 11/02/2022 07:56

Boosted and will have further boosters if they're offered

Sweetbabyrays · 11/02/2022 07:58

Boosted but I have to be for work. They think there will be no more booster now until winter if it’s needed then. Most vaccination clinics are closing down and just the larger national ones are dropping how often they are opening. It’s good news :)

Mrsweasleysclock · 11/02/2022 07:59

Not boosted yet. Would like to get boosted but haven't as I tend to get quite ill from the vaccine (more so than with actual covid) and I need to plan it according to when I can be sick. Maybe after half term.

TravelDreamLife · 11/02/2022 08:00

I boosted last month. Won't be having a 4th as I reacted badly to the booster (first two were fine). It triggered my head splitting vomiting migraines, which lasted two weeks & added fatigue. The usual two days is bad enough. Especially as I still had to manage DC's needs.

Unfortunately I think my country (Australia) will push it come winter flu season (July-August) as a new wave is expected.

lljkk · 11/02/2022 08:01

I imagine in England annual boosters offered every autumn, for years to come.

Me: No booster or covid yet ... probably will get booster (so I can travel) about the same time that my elderly parents get their 4th. I've Never even had direct contact with someone who has had covid. DC have some applicable classmates.

pawpaws2022 · 11/02/2022 08:02

Triple vaccination and boosted

ShrillSiren · 11/02/2022 08:03

Double vaccinated but not boosted yet as I caught covid when it was due. Will probably go and get it next week.
