Have you all had a booster jab?

I’ve had two vaccines but no booster.
Are there a lot of us around?
Are more boosters expected to be rolled out? Or is that it now?
@southeastdweller is that true so you can travel on two jobs no booster needed ?
My vacations don’t show on the NHS app because I haven’t had the booster. So officially I may as well not have had them as they now don’t count. I’m furious. The main reason Inhad then was for travel purposes. I feel conned.

Posters saying they got mild Covid so won’t be boosting…you got it mild because you’re double jabbed!!! Hmm
I got Covid before I was double jabbed and it was mild. You do know plenty of people had it before the jabs existed?

You don't know this for certain. I'm unvaccinated and had covid a couple weeks ago. Very mild - virtually asymptomatic. Worked (from home) the entire way through. The jabbed people I know felt much worse than me, with many too unwell to work at all.

So just apply for the paper version of the passport like I did. Your two vaccinations show on it and you can use it for travel.

That's very strange. It doesn't work like that at all. There's no punishment or conning.

The NHS app showed me single, double and booster jabbed at the appropriate times. I travelled abroad just before I was boostered (booster was overdue) and double Vaccs passport was fine. No one is 'hiding' your vaccinations; you'd probably better check with your GP that they're in your medical records.

Hiheyho · 16/02/2022 08:26

Same here, not vaccinated at all, we like a bad cold

I travelled as well last year. However, if you don't have the booster six months after the last vaccination it's all wiped. I phoned the Covid helpline about it.

I do have the paper version, but they won't be accepted without the booster for internal travel anymore as far as I understand it. You have to have three vaccinations.
MummyPop00 · 16/02/2022 09:05

Not boosted. Had side effects to first jab (AZ) which put me off so much so I only had my second jab (Pfizer) 11 months later. If no reaction to Pfizer, I’ll probably get boosted when eligible.

@Aposterhasnoname

Boosted cos 1. I’m not an idiot. And 2. I like my holidays too much.
Wow! I've not had my booster as I ended up on hospital after my second pfizer and still suffering now. You're very ignorant and narrow minded I see.
Villanelle17 · 16/02/2022 17:49

Nope because I got Covid when i was due to be booster. it was a bad cold and I was tired for a while. took me two weeks to get back to normal. Don't see the point now

I have family members who are not vaxxed at all who had very mild symptoms or were asymptomatic.

Everything I have read is that the consensus is now that natural immunity is just as good if not better than being vaxxed.

Genuinely, where are you reading this? @starshipsonfire Give me just one source.

There is so much evidence now that demonstrates vaccination after infection provides substantial benefit, which is why all countries recommended at least one dose even if you've had a previous infection.

Me and DH both just had covid and was much milder than alot of the boosted cases I've read about on MN. We're both unvaccinated.

We were told from the start it would be mild for the vast majority regardless of vaccination status.
