Anyone have covid right now?

Hi everyone,
Just wondered if there was anyone else currently with Covid, I suffer from anxiety and sitting alone in my room isolating really isn't helping. Im only on day 2.
So far I've had a very sore throat and my nose feels slightly congested.
I would love to have a covid pal to get through these difficult and lonely few days. GrinWink

What day are you on again sunshinemoon? I've had a pretty good day 5 on the whole. Full of cold this morning but improving as the day went on. Still know I'm ill... but maybe I'm going to be OK 👌
Im on day 7 but it feels like day 20. Its really dragging on now. Its just so up and down isn't it, one min i think I'm on the mend then i feel rough again.

Day 8 here and still testing positive grrrr! Been locked in with the 2 toddlers all week and we all need to get out!! Husband is 2 days behind me ! Argh ! Think better now tho
Oh goodness Two toddlers, my two are older i can imagine how hard it must be for you with little ones ConfusedConfused

It counts from your first day of symptoms. My first strong symptoms were last Friday (had odd twinges and occasional sinus pain before then). Tested positive on the Sunday, the 6th. I'm free tomorrow.

After two positives yesterday todays Lateral flow this morning is negative Confused

I have a PCR coming later though.

My line is so faint but still got an awful cough. Even if it was Negative I cant imagine being able to go out and about, i feel wastedConfused

I’m day 5, feel a lot less foggy headed today and congestion a lot better Grin still trying to take it easy though as much as I can.

I'm day 1 and I have a raging headache and also, did anyone else have aching wrists and ankles and also thigh muscle pain similar to what I get when on my period.

I didn’t get the headache and aches like that

I got

Day 1-3 v sore throat / cold symptoms
Day 3-5 dry congestion , very tight chest , breathless feeling , fatigue
Day 6-7 cold symptoms again , slightly tight chest and now nausea and appetite loss

It’s so horrid !!!!

OMG it’s so weird ! I literally NEVER lose my appetite! Did you start with that yesterday too? Sort of feel sick and like throat is too weirdly small to eat?

I have ordered some grapes in my online shop - literally don’t fancy thought of anything ! I had a lemsip today .. how about you ? X

This morning I did feel like that, and didn't eat my breakfast. I've just struggled down some porridge though. But I just don't want to eat. Might have a cup of tea, but even that's not tempting to me. I haven't had tiredness or aching really. I just feel gross in other ways.

Kind of. My tea tasted a bit weird. And crisps didn't taste the same. It's there, but it's a bit distorted.

I still can’t taste much but slight improvement on yesterday. My appetite came back today after being non existent before.

I'm on day two and it feels like a nasty cold, runny nose, cough, heavy head, tiredness. It's unpleasant and I'd rather not feel like this! DD is on day 6 and has just had a really strong positive line.
What's everyone doing about staying away from others in the house? I thought I had to stay in one room. It's not working out now as my DH is working. Can I make meals, will this pass it on to my DS and DH?

Is the day you test positive day 0? If so I am only day 4 Blush

I have had dd2 in bed with me as we are both positive and husband has been in her bed or on the sofa. Probably not going to do much but it made sense to try and minimise exposure a bit. Husband and dd1 still negative.
