Anyone have covid right now?

Hi everyone,
Just wondered if there was anyone else currently with Covid, I suffer from anxiety and sitting alone in my room isolating really isn't helping. Im only on day 2.
So far I've had a very sore throat and my nose feels slightly congested.
I would love to have a covid pal to get through these difficult and lonely few days.

It went to my chest on like day 4/5 it is so horrible (

I did some yoga poses to get and alleviate it a bit , sort of helped ..

Is the day you test positive day 0? If so I am only day 4

I have had dd2 in bed with me as we are both positive and husband has been in her bed or on the sofa. Probably not going to do much but it made sense to try and minimise exposure a bit. Husband and dd1 still negative.

I had mild symptoms on Monday so I take that as day0,tested positive Tuesday ..

I am day ten today and was negative yesterday and today. I feel a lot better but am still tired and have a bad stomach but that is probably linked to my Crohn's disease.

It was definitely worse than a cold for me. The worse thing was the headache that just wouldn't go even with paracetamol.

It was my first time with Covid so hopefully have got it out of the way now for a while!

Is is everyone this morning? My husband is now positive.
I feel a lot better but still have a cough and felt dizzy this morning after making the dds breakfast so trying to still take it easy.

Any idea how to get all the gunk out of one’s tubes ? Yuk!

Can I join? I caught it on DDs 7th day so feel like I've been isolating forever. Felt exhausted on 12th with cold symptoms and tested positive the next day so I'll be day 3 now. Had a little cough day (and night) 2 and since just been super tired but feeling ok on the whole. My line was so faint to begin with but definitely there so not sure if I've been lucky and got a lesser viral load? It's coming up fairly strong today though. Haven't ordered a PCR or notified anyone as I've not been in contact with anyone and thought they'd scrapped them for confirming positives now. I'm Scotland so may be different or may be wrong!

@Millicent2022 that sucks, my eldest had it last year and he was pretty bad with it. Miracle we didn't get it then! Hope it soon passes!

This is today's, well it's a few hours old but the line is most definitely a positive and was before the time was up. It's half term here too so the poor kids, who are now both negative, are missing out and the guilt has kicked in majorly.

@Millicent2022 my husband has been using a nasal douche thing I bought from Amazon and says it does help. I bought one with salt solution sachets to be used with it. It was recommended for me when I had a sinus infection but then Covid hit!

Anyone else feeling lightheaded? I feel much less “ill” today but lightheaded/dizzy so still can’t do much. It’s very frustrating!

Day 7. Bad chest and burning sinuses.

What's your test line line today Millicent?

Slightly less dark but v dark . I feel a lot more like myself today tho

Does anyone else have a sore throat? My throat is really sore, I am on day 3 and that's the worst bit at the moment. I was shivery and achey but that has passed. As has the headache.

Yeah my throat was awful first few days then it moved down . Drink lots of hot fluids to try and kill it off in throat !

@Millicent2022 glad its not just me and thanks for the advice - I will keeping drinking. I was expecting to not feel too bad as most people I know have said it's like a cold but I feel really crap!

Yeah I was really shocked how poorly I felt

I think I would have been really bad without being vaccinated ..

Sore throat is just about the only symptom I haven’t had yet!

Mine started with 4 days of sore throat. Sore throat now gone but feeling way worse on day 5 of symptoms than I was feeling the past few days. Cough, fatigue, general zombification is worse today.
