Still feeling awful here - day 4 for me.
Keep having staff members message me saying hope you feel better, see you Monday (when I'm due back in) but I don't see it happening. I'm still feeling rotten.
Terrible earache - causing awful vertigo - had such a awful turn with that yesterday, genuinely scared me.
Nausea on and off.
Now become very congested and stuffy in my upper nose.
Sore throat still, sound odd when I talk.
Coke but sweating (and the sweat smells weird!)
Still can taste and smell.
Aches on and off now - thank god because day 1 and 2 that was unbearable.
Headache and eye socket pain (although has eased over the last couple days)
Very weak but low appetite.
Occasional cough which is very phlemy* sorry TMI.
Temperate peaked at 38.2 on Wednesday. Currently 35.9? At 7.30am.
I work in hospitality and the thought of being back on my feet, running around after people, talking to people all day just seems crippling right now.
I feel like because some people have caught it and it's been nothing more than a bad cold, that they're expecting everyone's experience of it to now be that but I've had plenty of bad colds and this hasn't felt like one.
I cried to my hubby last night, saying this virus is kicking me ass.
He's had to keep working (money) leaving me home alone everyday, which I've hated. I haven't really left my bed since Tuesday midday as just don't have the energy.
Been taking paracetamol and ibuprofen every 4 hours (unless asleep). Was taking codine too the first two days due to the horrendous body aches especially in my hips and neck.
Having hot showers or baths, drinking plenty and trying to sleep as much as I can when it'll allow. But, don't seem to be making me feel much better. I've asked hubby to pick up some night nurse today for me in hopes that'll help a little more.
Anyone found anything they've found and helped them feel much better?
